We'd love to know what you think makes a small town like Stars Hollow so charming? Also, do you have a favorite Gilmore Girls character?
Mainly the people;) I love all the characters in Gilmore Girls, because collectively they make each other better & their town better. I love how in Stars Hollow, everyone is accepted even with their quirks;) There is a lot of love for their town & its people as well. Although peaceful, there’s never a dull day in Stars Hollow. The antique New England/Colonial style of wood work & buildings adds to the majestic design of the town. Where you filmed, all locations, were stunning..but they also gave a very comforting vibe. I live in Washington State, where some places look similar but not nearly as rich in history nor comforting as the East Coast cities are🍁You truly captured the essence of Stars Hollow & Gilmore Girls beautifully! Thank you so much for this distraction from all the chaos! A great reminder that things will come & go & change, but we will always have Stars Hollow🍂🍁

It's something about the community of people and their involvement on a personal level in each others life despite differences and imperfections.
Also an orginal gilmore girl here, I went through school with rory. I love all the characters but watching as it aired for the first time and being there with rory, I related with her being very similar. As I have rewatched throughout the years and as a mother now. I find I am more similar and relate more with Lorelai. I actually find I am immensely like her as a mother. Thanks for the tour!

I love the Gilmore Girls!
I love my hometown of Petaluma, CA. It has made several top 10 lists of most charming and friendly cities in America. We have (had) so many festivals throughout the year and go all out for the holidays. There are over a dozen antique stores in the historic downtown. Dozens of Victorian and craftsman houses are throughout the downtown area. We also have TWO annual antique faires, with almost 200 vendors. We are also originally a farm town, at one time being the countries largest egg provider. So driving the backroads is gorgeous, passing fields and farms.
Aww love you describe your home town, it definitely sounds like a small town with so much charm and now I know we need to add those antique fairs to our bucketlist!
I was raised in NM, CT. It is so charming and I miss it. Most sentimental, nearly 30yrs ago, my husband proposed to me on Christmas Eve. The backdrop: the gazebo! He pretended to find a little wrapped box behind the Xmas tree. Freezing and on one knee I said yes.

Love your video!! I’m on a road trip and just got to Connecticut! When I think of this state I think Gilmore Girls and women’s basketball! I already drove through a small town and it was so charming. The fall foliage has just started and I wanted to pull over numerous times to take pictures! It felt so charming, so GG! 🧡

I grew up in New Milford ❤
I loved your video. My great-great grandfather was born in Litchfield, but his family moved to Washington, Ct when he was small. As an adult, he was always taking the buckboard to New Milford. I read his diary, from 1864, when he was in the Union Army. He got out in September of 1864, and was always going on about New Milford. My folks moved from Connecticut when I was five. I never got to see the old home sites, so "Vielen dank!"

I live in a VERY small southern town called Cave Spring! We have a gazibo on the square dressed for any occasion at hand. A coffee shop , antique /junk stores! Evweybody knows everybody and most likley kin or kin to the kin!! Big antique homes and a Bed and Breakfast!! Fall is pretty here as well as spring with lots of flowers. Oh we have a park with a cave and natural spring! Hence the name Cave Spring! I enjoyed Stars Hollow so much and love your reenactment!

Oh I love the Gilmore Girls! I always hoped Rory and Jess would end up together. It looks like you had a beautiful Fall day! I love all the year round festivals the town I live in has. I used to love taking my son to all of them when he was small. He'd get so excited to see our Mayor and used to go up to him and say, Hi Mayor! Now that little boy is a 24 year old fashion designer living in NYC!

I've lived in small towns most of my life, and the best (sometimes worst?) thing is when you walk into a store and they know who you are, or how you want your coffee... and when you go to a festival you know at least 1 out of each hundred people you see, well enough to wave and make a friendly remark ❤☕🙋♀️

Adore this so much! My own town, at least my area of it doesn't offer any of the things that would remind me of the Gilmore Girls, but the town I grew up in from the age of 10, and lived until I was 38 most definitely had all the the things you mentioned.. Someone says that the "real" Stars Hollow is in Unionville-Toronto (and in fact the first episode was shot there), someone says that it is Washingont Depot. Btw, I think it's really cool to live in a small town like this. Many other TV series of the 2000s are set in similar contexts, where you can breathe simplicity and genuineness, where the inhabitants participate in the daily life of the community. Far from stupid socials network, far from stress and chaos. Did you visit even the set of Stars Hollow? Greetings from Italy :)
We've never been to the Stars Hollow set but we'd love to and Unionville is on our bucket list as well!

Was a good tv show.Watching from southwestern Ontario I Live in Stratford Ontario a small touristy city with a large older Down town. Probably best know for their Shakespeare Festival.I like old style architecture to and the Charm of smaller citys.Great content.lauri was probably my favourite. Beautiful little twns.

Love all the fall colors! We lost our fall leaves here in the mid-west. And I think you mentioned wearing a dress in a different video by “Little Women.” Was that correct? I tried to find this online and I did find a place in Europe called Little Woman Atelier. Not sure if that was it if you don’t mind sharing your fashion source!
