A lot of people visit Washington for GG and see the depot area but that street (Ferry Bridge Rd) and some nearby streets have some of the most beautiful houses in the state and I don't think most people know they're there!
Well these are the houses in Connecticut that inspired the set and where Amy Sherman Palladino wrote part of the story. But you can take a Warner Bros studio tour in LA to see the actual house it was filmed in.
