When Kevin mentioned how he looked like Agent 47 I wished there was a clown suit as a outfit he could wear. Imagine Sherlock Holmes solving crime looking like a clown while wielding a deadly fish as a weapon.
I agree, he's usually depicted as being pretty aloof towards women. In the film 'The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes' (released in 1970) he's even mistaken for being in a romantic relationship with Watson which is pretty funny as Watson is a bit of a womaniser in this version.
Yes, but Holmes is, as originally written, a character who can empathize deeply with people, and values the bonds people have. Him having a daughter isn’t that strange, especially an adopted one.
@@Engardianno no no, see people aren’t confused by the little girl. It’s more about conceptualizing Sherlock having sex with a woman. The adoption thing is just everyone nodding their heads going oooh of course. Everyone already wanted him to adopt the baker street irregulars like Batman.

@@somecallmetim4490 Yes but it's complicated. As the game show's he's dying anyway, putting him in prison would be pointless and unnecessarily cruel. The point of prison is (or is supposed to be) to rehabilitate, not punish. I'd put him in locked/guarded/monitored hospital room or whatever and wait for him to die in a few months. As for the 'pygmy', that would depend on how well they understand English, how much their behaviour was manipulated by the conspirator etc to decide if they are a murderer, co-conspirator or victim/'live weapon' as the game calls it.
22:45 I stop paying attention for a few seconds and then when I return from my daze Kevin has dressed sherlock up as Johnny Sins... Classic Kevin moment
Could be good, would probably end up being a Dexter like story where he is the killer but it's for a good cause...or not so good. Actually I legit want Kevin to write a mystery novel now 😅
It would be a facinating reinterpretation of the character. One where his personality has been completely changed into that of Jim Pickenss, but a somehow even more incompetent and unhinged version. He would truthfully misunderstand every posible clue and yet stumble his way towards the right answer in the end. It would be the ultimate form of the worlds greatest detective. Batman could never (unless that Batman is also written by Kevin, in that case the world may not surive the experience).
I envision Kevin's Holmes effectively being a reality warper, a fact that is unknown to, or at least unacknowledged by himself and everybody around him, including Watson. He ignores all seemingly plausible evidence in his cases, instead asserting that the wild and incoherent scenarios his mind manufactures are the only way to solve a mystery. By the end of an investigation, Holmes has altered his appearance an average of a dozen times, an element that also goes largely unnoticed. Scotland Yard's detectives (who are played as completely credible and competent) ostensibly solve the case in the background, sometimes even announcing their recent possession of a signed confession. Then Holmes starts speaking, and if you knew any better it's almost like the world somehow begins to shift in way that makes his solution correct... In these moments Watson always decides for the sake of his own sanity that Holmes is simply a brilliant detective.
I enjoyed how seamlessly Holmes went from Jim Pickens, to Keegan-Michael Key, to John Hamm, to Indiana Jones. I'm listening to The Complete Sherlock Holmes narrated by Stephen Fry, and I highly recommend it if you want to hear the real Sherlock stories 😊
With how often Kevin changes disguises and looks, it's actually fitting for Holmes to do. If you watch the really old ones or read the books, he's constantly doing it.
