Some tips Kevin: 1. Machines store their energy (in the sense that it doesn’t go to waste like furnaces) so you can use it whenever you want. 2. Most modpacks have a function which allows you to see where hostile mobs can spawn by pressing F7. A yellow cross means they can only spawn there during nighttime and a red cross means they can spawn there at both day and night. 3. Automating machinery is so satisfying, and you should try to get a mechanical storage of some sort (look up ME System for references) 4. You should see if your modpack has OreExcavator (alternatively VeinMiner). It allows you to mine entire chunks of same-type blocks while you hold down a certain key, all at the cost of some extra hunger depending on how many blocks it excavates.
Also a good tip would be to try the industry from the Create Mod. Since most of it is about multi block structure I think it's easier to visualize. Rather than remembering what each machine block does. Andsinc the mod can work on water wheels and wind mills I think it wold be a cool aesthetic.
You can also just wire stuff up so you don't need multiple power sources. There are blocks that act as batteries, so hook up the solar to the battery bank and that to the machines, and you'll be making diamonds for days! Also, uncrafter. It is broken if it exists, since you can uncraft torches, and torches can be made from either coal OR charcoal, and uncrafters USUALLY only return coal and sticks. You can see where that goes.

One thing that I absolutely respect as someone who has edited a good amount of videos, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the minor detail Kevin does in every Minecraft video where every time he is underwater his voice sounds underwater, it’s such a minor detail but it adds SO much and makes it even more entertaining
Love the content. It's great seeing you play games not entirely understanding going in. If you play more FTB mod packs though some have quests which will pretty much give you a guide on how to advance. FTB academy is a great starter if you wanna learn more mods but watching you fumble makes for great content honestly. You're extremely competent and great at decorating so watching you go in uneducated about the mods is so fun but if you're wanting to play with mods any mods with quests are the best for it. A lot of FTB mods have them. My favorite mod pack is Rougelike Adventure and Dungeons, most FTB mods, and a lot of slow advancement mod packs (RLcraft and Sevtech ages for examples) Not gonna out too much more, just been playing modded minecraft quite a bit recently and would love to see you play a ton more. The rest of this will just be small tips. Changing key binds in mod packs is almost a must, you should use ore excavator as much as you can if it's available it's super useful especially for content creation since you don't have to spend hours mining, R and U over an item can tell you the Recipe or Usage (capitalized because R shows the recipe and U shows the usage. JEI is in almost every mod so it's super convenient to learn these. In JEI it's also really useful to search by mod, you can go into JEI settings to make it where you don't have to go '@minecraft' and can just enter 'minecraft' to find all Minecraft items, lastly off the top of my head always work mod to mod and make the mods book. Tinkers almost requires their books especially if you make tools since you don't wanna make any part of a sword of sponge (sponge makes damage 0 in tinkers) Edit: oh also if you check the use of enchanted books you can see what they go to or an item to figure out what enchants it can gain
You should play the modpack that makes the game like peaceful mode but playable and actually fun. With the modpack, you can beat the game and get all the resources that would usually be impossible to get without killing mobs. It's called _"Bliss"_ Just, if you want a third _(or was it fourth? fifth even? I lost count)_ way to play minecraft completely differently.
to get the bees you need to pick up some flowers, just hold them in your hand and the bees should follow you slowly. Once they are far away from their original home and nearby the new home, they should automaticly link up with the new one. If that does not work, you also can breed the bees and the babys should link up with the new bee hive. Maybe also interesting: you can put leashs on bees, what makes it 10 times easier to transport them (:
this is a really, really fun episode. i hope you play more of this modpack!!! im having so much enjoyment out of this ❤❤❤ thank you kevo for the wonderful video as always
This was a really good and nostalgic theme for this Minecraft video! I'd love to see you try either perfecting yourself with that modpack or try another one like dream pack or RLcraft in the same video format. Great video Kevin !
Feed the Beast modpacks are so fun! My favorite by far is the Forever Stranded modpack. It has quests for you to follow so it teaches you how to make things and why you need it. Combine that with the husks and heatstroke, what's not to love?
Dude this is exactly what ive needed lol,an hour of Kevin playing hella modded minecraft while committing unspeakable acts! Im sure the dogs didnt feel anything guys!
I’d love to see more modded Minecraft from you Kevin. Also, I believe if you press U on an item in your inventory, it should pull up a list of recipes that item is used in
I'd recommend getting to know the Create mod. It's the one where you can ponder it's items. It's great for automating pretty much anything. It's pretty easy to learn the basics, and from there you can make whatever you can think up.
This was amazing. Minecraft always has a lot to do but this mod pack is insane. I love it. And I love what you did with it. That bedroom looking out over the (ultimately doomed) area was so cool. 😂 Also I wish regular Minecraft had the sheer amount of color this did. The varied ores and trees just looked so nice.
im loving these longer videos, its cool to see a mini movie with its own conflicts and resolutions for each game it feels a lot tighter than separate videos
Found you through your feckin’ dope sims videos. Now i’m working my way through the entire glorious collection! I love this and hope this has become or will become a series.
I'm assuming you play in a newer version and that's why you can't find the pipes. Thermal Dynamics simply didn't get updates, but there's probably some other mod to make cables for transporting electricity (like Immersive Engineering).

@@manowa3395 They are still going, mostly do gmod TTT on the main channel with GTA 5 game modes mixed in and occasionally new stuff. If you are interested in Minecraft content that's mostly done on Duncans channel (him and 2 other people) instead with loads of great series.
@@leaderofthenewbencrusades746 It was their minecraft content I was interested in when I was younger. Though I drifted away from that so they did as well. Good to know they're still a healthy channel. lol
My favorite mod pack is Rougelike Adventure and Dungeons, most FTB mods, and a lot of slow advancement mod packs (RLcraft and Sevtech ages for examples)
Not gonna out too much more, just been playing modded minecraft quite a bit recently and would love to see you play a ton more.
Tinkers almost requires their books especially if you make tools since you don't wanna make any part of a sword of sponge (sponge makes damage 0 in tinkers)
Edit: oh also if you check the use of enchanted books you can see what they go to or an item to figure out what enchants it can gain
I really hope this becomes a series, this was so good
You should play the modpack that makes the game like peaceful mode but playable and actually fun. With the modpack, you can beat the game and get all the resources that would usually be impossible to get without killing mobs. It's called _"Bliss"_
Just, if you want a third _(or was it fourth? fifth even? I lost count)_ way to play minecraft completely differently.
Oh hell yes that's a thing?? As a coward I am absolutely trying this modpack out immediately 👀
Another pack like that is called Bliss. Instead of being peaceful mode, it makes mobs non-aggressive unless you attack them first
@@hyper_lynx yeah on second thought Bliss does way better in like every area I just praised PoM in. He should play that instead.
@@hyper_lynx You know what, I'm just gonna edit my comment to promote that instead
kevin’s been the best youtuber recently with these long videos that are actually entertaining to watch
to get the bees you need to pick up some flowers, just hold them in your hand and the bees should follow you slowly.
I was in a horrible accident and got amnesia what is this mod pack caked i seen to have forgotten the name of it
Love these modpacks, reminds me of the old yogscast
Yeah… sad that its gone
Kevin, throughout this entire video: I'm getting attached to this place uwu
Kevin, letting his intrusive thoughts win: 52:15
This was a really good and nostalgic theme for this Minecraft video!
I'd love to see you try either perfecting yourself with that modpack or try another one like dream pack or RLcraft in the same video format.
Great video Kevin !
I love that Kevin is doing longer form content lately, I just love his stuff so much the longer the better!
I’d love to see you do a one chunk challenge in one of these elaborately modded worlds.
Feed the Beast modpacks are so fun! My favorite by far is the Forever Stranded modpack. It has quests for you to follow so it teaches you how to make things and why you need it. Combine that with the husks and heatstroke, what's not to love?
Feed the Beast is a specific group that develops modpacks. They did not make Forever Stranded.
@@camlind12 Thanks for letting me know! I always looked up Forever Stranded info on the Feed the Beast wiki so I just assumed they were related
It's crazy the fact that Kevin posts hour long videos, but the editing is still top tier!
I'd genuinely love to see this become a series...
Please play more of this! It's so enjoyable to watch and it seems like you're having a load of fun! :)
Loving the fact you decided to make this an hour long. Definitely want another one like this/a continuation of this mod pack.
PLEASE keep this modded series going I love watching you figure stuff out
This was amazing. Minecraft always has a lot to do but this mod pack is insane. I love it. And I love what you did with it. That bedroom looking out over the (ultimately doomed) area was so cool. 😂 Also I wish regular Minecraft had the sheer amount of color this did. The varied ores and trees just looked so nice.
i love these long videos, but dont feel pressured to keep doing them kevin! we love every video you put out, no matter what!! :)
I'm just here to say the Golden Sun music has been a damn joy to randomly hear so I love this new long video Kevin after not watching for a while
im loving these longer videos, its cool to see a mini movie with its own conflicts and resolutions for each game it feels a lot tighter than separate videos
24:36 kevin truly is an amazing man
Found you through your feckin’ dope sims videos. Now i’m working my way through the entire glorious collection! I love this and hope this has become or will become a series.
Feckin dope? That's what everyone calls me:(
Kevin please turn this into a series
I love how the remnants from the nuclear blasts formed Mickey Mouse
in the nuclear apocalypse, disney shall remain
25 seconds in and Kevin is already ruining the lives of innocent villagers
I've wanted to see Kevin just do a full modded playthrough. Hope we get more of these!
I'm assuming you play in a newer version and that's why you can't find the pipes. Thermal Dynamics simply didn't get updates, but there's probably some other mod to make cables for transporting electricity (like Immersive Engineering).
Congrats!!!!
Thanks for watching

I have a gift for you.🎁
brings me back to the days of Lewis Sjin and Duncan, the best days of Minecraft
That one village now has a villain arch.
What a wonderful surprise after work! I'm loving your vids, Kevin! Have a wonderful day!
I love that Kevin is using reclaimed wood. Reclaimed from the house he set of fire.
42:10 that's a nice washer and dryer set up. Laundry room is coming along great, Kev.
Please make this a series! It was so fun to watch! And see how you’re learning about stuff for the first time, and could help other people!
I can't wait to see more of this, Kevin.
An hour long video of kevin playing Minecraft… happiness, total happiness ❤
I really hope Kevin continues this as a series, watching him learn everything and have fun exploring all the new additions is really enjoyable
☝️☝️☝️☝️
Thanks for watching and commenting got something for you.🎁
Would so love to see this come back as a series! Feed the beast is so much nostalgia, and seeing Kevin learn some recipes made me so happy 😁
As a 20 year old, I heard FTB and almost started crying it’s been about 10 years since I’ve heard those words 💀💀
As someone who has played a lot of FTB packs, this video is a gift.
Kevin, don't panic swing. There's a bar when your sword is out that fills up after each swing, you don't do full damage till that bar is full
im really happy you're playing minecraft, i'ts so relaxing. i agree with the comments saying this should be a series if u enjoy doing it :)
please make this a series it’s so calming
Just now realized that on the farming part he’s playing Stardew valley music
