- Is this a house? Yes. Is this a yacht? Yes. “It’s the world’s first fully solar-powered livable yacht,” Marius Koller tells us. Quite remarkable, the Arkup 75 is fully self-sustaining for both power and water - a truly off-grid paradise. Arkup’s founders were motivated by a concern for the environment, climate change and sea-level rise around the world. They felt Miami would be an ideal place to launch an innovative new platform for sustainable living. So they founded the Arkup company with the belief that this visionary product, designed with renewable tech, would be an inspiration to future generations. The Arkup 75 showcases how to live with the water while being independent with drinking water and energy.
Imagine an immense two story penthouse with stunning horizon views from every room that can also motor itself around to new locations whenever your heart desires. Robustly built, this floating villa plants itself wherever it’s parked.

This Floating mansion gives a New Meaning to Waterfront Living!

Agreed!
I absolutely love this home I wish I could purchase it! I love it!
11:11 if I could i would for my Nicoles` anniversary 😅👿🥶
Til death do us part
Been in the process of building the jacking system and legs for these yatchs for the last 6 months
This is so feckin cool!!! And that salesman is smooth AF 😎
he is
Incredible! I love it
Genuinely wouldn’t mind living there if I had the money, no electric to pay no water to pay, always a new back round no tax for living in a house as it’s a boat seems very good
You’d have to pay for a mooring. Doubt that would be cheap for something this size! But I don’t own a boat, so I don’t know for sure! Lol
@@GamerUniverse64 In fact you may not have to pay for a mooring if you move it every few days. The boat has a built in anchoring system via the hydraulic lifts that keep it stationary. So it is legal to park wherever boats can anchor in public waterways.
Need this in the caymans.
“This is an amazing, self sufficient, environmentally friendly home… and if you want you can park your helicopter on it.” 😂
Beautiful
Question can this be lifted by a crane
missing a car garage and foldable ramp
Just wanna know how two scientists who lived on a small sailboat suddenly afford a 5 million dollar house?
In typical Miami Dade fashion they trying to hit dude with a $120,000 property tax bill...
it only takes money :))
Can u extend the roof so I can land my Lear-Jet? I know- if the Germans could invade Russia I am sure u can do that 2! As u said -money buys everything-right?
can it cross oceans?
That's a good question. I doubt it can handle the waves
No, this vessel is not designed for ocean crossings. It is best suited to calm bodies of water, mainly bays, coastal marshes, lakes and inland waterways.
Can you sail it around the world?
No, just for bays and inland waterways.
How can you rent one of these for vacation?

the sewage?
It's turned onto chocolate 🍫😗
It has a 4,000 gallon holding tank for waste water and an onboard sewage treatment system.
@@yachtworld And where does the treated sewage go? Does the gray water get removed?
cost of naintainence?
If anybody have $5 millions to buy it. I don’t think maintenance will be an issue
