Thanks to you i can add an extra service to my clients! I did this to 5 so far and they love it . Been using hydro lite and DIY 5 with 3 sometimes. I never used the 8 . I might try it on the next client!
@@diydetailofficial thanks ! I couldn’t believe the results. Definitely a game changer. Also there are actually people with porches and mercedes mg around the small town of Bedford Qc. Wow ! You were right Yvan about pricing and not charging enough! Now i have those clients i never would of even thought was possible. Thank you so much!
Hi , you guys Love your videos Wanted to know, i am going to be washing my car once a month this winter in a friend's garage, ca i use ceramic gloss after every wash without no problem. Thanks you
Hi Yvan, what do you recommend to do when some surface dust/pollen builds up on the paint surface after a wash when trying to polish and ceramic coat? I bought your 5 year ceramic and I’m just wondering if dust on the surface when applying or polishing can ruin anything? I can blow off the dust with a little blower and any left might be okay to wipe off with panel prep and a microfiber?
Yvan if you coat the tire how’s the wheel weights going to stick if you have to have your wheels balanced and weights have to be placed in a different place from the first time you had it done before the coating was applied
I plan to buy a set of new American Torq Thrust II wheels which are bare polished aluminum. Is there any sort of coating that will decrease or eliminate the need to polish them periodically?
As an aside, can you add a little bit of rinseless wash into your wash bucket with incredible suds? Will it help trap the dirt better at the bottom of the bucket or is it just not necessary?
Excellent video! I used to always use 2 pearl weave towels for coatings but have switched to using a pearl weave for the initial leveling and a high nap for the secondary/final pass. Works excellent! Thanks for all your knowledge that you generously share with everyone, much appreciated. Is there much difference in chemistry between the DIY Detail coatings and something like Roar Coatings as far as coating agricultural/construction equipment like skid steers that definitely have different paints than automotive paint? Is there any advantage to having a 2 component coating that requires an activator/hardener or catalyst that you either mix the two before hand or apply the second one after the first? Extra durability, increased thickness, etc? Or not really required for the auto world? Any thoughts on if you would wouldn't ever consider releasing one like that in your DIY line? Thank you!
How do I get my hands on the last foam pad you got there? Edit: You got them in I see. Haha. Question: I have some suede applicator pads, can I use them up?
Nice one Yvan. I've got a question re coating on glass with your 5 year ceramic. How long should the coating last on a windscreen considering constant abrasion from wipers? Thank you
Hi guys! Have only ever see you guys use that 1 type of barrel brush. Is there any truth "only safe to use MF brushes on gloss blacks wheels and that normal barrel brushes will scratch them up"?
You guys have become one of my go to detailing channels.
I am buying a bunch of your products to test.
Thank you for your amazing work.
Thanks! Hope you enjoy 😃
That was a Quebec sized pothole! Very awesome of Konig to send you a set if wheels, good folks.
Actually Ontario sized pothole.
Nice of them to send u new wheels! Look very nice!
Yes, very appreciated.

Really nice wheels. Looks great Yvan👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks 👍
Nice work...they look great...how long will the coating in the bottle last after it's initially opened?
Roughly a year
The ease of using rinseless on coated wheels makes the whole process so much more efficient.
Exactly.
You do a lot of cool stuff. You even mount your own wheels.
Thank you
My wheels are ceramic coated. Extremely easy to clean. Topped with Ceramic Gloss. Haven’t used a wheel cleaner since coating was applied.
Perfect
Sorry to hear about the damage caused by those potholes but the new wheels & tires look amazing. Enjoy !
Hi , you guys
Love your videos

Yes you can!
Since you are coating the barrel, have you had any issues with weights not sticking? I've had that issue in the past.
Yes, I had them balanced before applying the coating, and when the time comes I will lightly polish the lip where the weights go then apply again

Advise the tire installer, they will know what to do.

Nice wheels! Yes, our ceramic coating designed for bare metal.

One of the things I look at when buying a car is how easy are the wheels to clean lol, your wheels look great 👍😁
Thanks 👍
Hi,
Do you have a date when the decor towels and drip catcher towels will be in stock
Many thanks
Gary
The Perforated Synthetic Decontamination Towel will be back Friday, the drip catcher could be a few months.,
As an aside, can you add a little bit of rinseless wash into your wash bucket with incredible suds? Will it help trap the dirt better at the bottom of the bucket or is it just not necessary?
Not necessary

The formulas are very different.
Great vid!! How'd I miss a vid about the pothole?
It’s on the Lacroix Cruiser channel
Haaa!! Les belles routes du Quebec !!!😂😂😂
Tres bon conseil encore une fois. 🚗
Dans ce cas, un nid de poule en Ontario.
Sorry about your wheels and tires. Were you driving through Chicago??? Nice new wheels and vid.
Sault Sté Marie Ontario. Thé car was being pulled by our bus.
Is the process the same for powder coated wheels? In term of durability, can we expect the same as clear coated wheel? Thanks👌
Yes and yes
@@diydetailofficial perfect! 🤝

Yes you can.
for already used wheels, do you just use All-Clean and Iron remover
or do you use All-Clean, Iron Remover AND panel prep?
All 3
Nice one Yvan. I've got a question re coating on glass with your 5 year ceramic. How long should the coating last on a windscreen considering constant abrasion from wipers? Thank you
With the wipers, not too long. With a coating you will not need the wipers much
@@diydetailofficialthx . With most cars having rain sensing wipers , there's not much choice . Unless they turn that off
So how long does it take for the ceramic coat cure? Does rain affect the coating within the first week at all?
It can be rained on after 1 hour.
Thanks, finally got my new car and can’t wait to coat it with the 3 year!!! Already did the interior, so easy and looks wonderful!!!
Dang, that was a brutal pothole.
Yep
Hi guys , is there any protection I can use to slope down the process of the carpeted wheel well liners from getting trashed?
Coat with DIY Detail Quick Beads
Thanks again guys!
Which jack did you use??...

No truth, no lie either, it’s all in the lubrication and the user.
@@diydetailofficial makes sense! Thanks for responding!
Thank you for the question
Let's go!

What do you expect the life expectancy of that coating to be on wheels?
Maintenance is key to longevity.
