LTE doesn't bother me at all. I'd always just tether it to my phone which has unlimited data. Setting up my phone as a hotspot takes 1 button. It works every time.
You're correct to say that you can use your phone to hotspot, but I have travelled to parts of the world in remote regions where my phone's cellular signal strenght was just not doing it and the sim I had in my various Thinkpads did wonders - I suppose the antennas in the ThninkPads provide far better signal strenght so from that perspective having LTE can be really useful.
My X13 yoga, which I customized with i7-10510u, 16g ram, and LTE (not a standard option, only way to get it is to customize one), arrives tomorrow...can't wait. Now that you have had yours for a bit, would love to know what you think of how it runs.
Is it normal for this "anti-smudge, anti-glare" screen to show decreased image clarity over the areas you are not directly looking at? Its especially obvious when the screen background is white. Is this the anti-glare or anti-smudge part? I really need a display that is crystal clear like my old Yoga 260
I have an L13 Yoga, and the main difference I see here is cellular. Other than that, yours has a dolbi logo that mine doesn't have and your keyboard doesn't seem to be replaceable like mine is. I'm absolutely bonkers for my L13. This keyboard is simply amazing and the variety of input you get with the trackpad+nipple+touch+pen is mindblowing. I find myself using the nipple way more than I though I would, then a notification comes up and I swipe it from the screen and feel like an absolute boss. This convenience and ergonomics here is something you'd miss in a spec sheet comparison and is much more valuable than a faster cpu or a graphics card that has a negligible benefit for non-gaming users. Did I mention the keyboard is great? Because it really is out of this world.
I know this is late but I heard the L series doesn't have a physical lock function (when you go in tablet or tent mode) So is this annoying to you? How would you rate the importance of this feature (I'm planning to buy)
@@abdullah7az Never felt the need for it. I totally recommend this laptop. The keyboard is amazing and I end up using the touch screen all the time, it's basically how I scroll 90% of the time. Done a bit of illustration work (tied rubber bands around the pen so that I don't feel like I'm drawing with a toothpick), and some development in it. No complaints there. My only gripe with it is that now the battery is lasting very little time, but to be honest that might be a maintenance thing. I developed a bunch of experimental stuff that I never really cleaned up, and now I even have some command line stuff firing up on launch and throwing errors, so it's probably my fault :D
@@badasspuppy Thank you for taking the time to reply.. I see your point, but the thing is, having cellular will be a very huge plus for me, especially considering the type of work I'll do with it.. On the other hand, the L is upgradable.. and being able to go up to 32gb (considering multitasking) is also a very huge deal.. That's why I feel lost, I'm getting a refurbished so the price isn't really that different.. and while the x seems pretty much more suppoted and coming with all these nick nack details that overall makes it seem better, but at the core, the L would be better.
Main role in this vedeo is playing the microphone, then that guy who talks too much. Oh, yes, there was some box with some laptop as well, but because of that microphone you cannot see it ...
so after many months of use I would like to add some point that no review on youtube about this laptop really say and it's for me a big concern which should change the point of view of many people thinking to buy this model.. On my side I will advice just : DON'T DO IT. It don't worst the price, it's disapointing ! and at this point I'm sad to see all review saying almost the same thing, but I found may be too much avoid the really bad points about it... So here is some stuff which is for me doing that this model don't worst the price and that I will change it as soon I will could! 1) battery life is poor regarding what we found on the market. It keep around 6 to 8 hours battery only - 2) the pencil it's very small (rididul!) and have around 1hour max battery on it before have to put on charge, so you can use it longer each time! 3) few accessories only, almost nothing regarding other laptor around 2000$, and as PEN is you want to draw, only the first version of the PEN PRO is compatible. All news PEN Lenovo last version doesn't work with this computer! it's crazy! only premiun models of lenovo seems to have a lot of accessoires, like X1, or particular one C940 etc.. but this model! it's really poor 4) !! the Fan could make a lot of noise and computer could be hot.. each time there is a windows update for exemple in background, the fan just turn and make noise all the way and the laptop are going to be hot! 5) as the fan vent are under the keyboard part, if you have on your legs it could be hot and not feel confortable, and when you're are in the tablet mode, the screen part come againts the fan vent and avoid air to go out effeciency, the result the computer are going to be more hot (untill pass through out the keyboard) and it's became a issue to could draw or use as a tablet! really bad things for a tablet PC! stupid conception! 6) the screen light and view isn't really bright and nice. I figure out it became from the option in the sreen to could active 'private mode' where people around should'nt see what is on the screen.. function which is in add no really usable! work bad and you see nothing! 7) for me is a issue. I like to have a keyboard light on, but it's not on by default and you have to tape 2 keyto activate lite, and tape 2 time those 2 keyto get max light power on. Howerver, the keyboard light power off each time the computer go to stand by! and there is no way to setup stay on all time ON! : i search on the web for long time, i found usually you have this option in the Lenovo setup application, but there is not this option in this one! So each time you will not use your laptop for 2 minuts (depending standby time schedule) you will have to put the 2 keys combinaison 2 times to could get keyboard on again! crazzy stupid! at least the 2 last thinks : 8) if you're not in US like me and want to activate 'canadian' or 'french canadian' or 'french keyboard, as standard in a lot of country and place (to get accent for exemple) you cannot! there is no way to get it at least 9) will be difficult to acces to the phone support (i pass few time more than 1 hours to try to get support) and had to cancel cause it was too long and i needed to live and not live for call them! . RESULT : I didn't take decision to send back on the first 2 weeks cause i needed too much a computer at this time, but it's a really a big regret! I will never say to anyone to by this model it's will be a bad decision on my point of you! and I found all youtube video really gentle regarding lenovo and this model.. I found it almost no fair and we know than people like me cannot buy laptop all 6 months and looking for advice on the good and buy things to don't buy bad 2000$ item! And I'm IT professional for 20 years, so I saw a lot of laptop and computer on my hands. really disapointed, the model don't worst the price it cost : that's all and that's really a result of almost 6 months of use : don't buy it!

Lenovo makes the best laptop keyboards

Yeah, don't pay $2000 for it lol. But it should be compatible with any wacom active pen, I don't know what your problem was.
From 10:40 to the rest of my life he drones on and on about tethering.
