I was working on a CB&Q that's a railroad , a fireman on the locomotive, then one day I saw a little baby crawling along the track a baby mind you. And I grabbed that baby, and I flung it into a nice pile of soft leaves. Me well I didn't make out so good. Fractured my leg. The baby was all right. Today that baby is president of Vons supermarket you think he ever took the trouble to thank me, no sir! Rich folks got short memories.
That is a push truck to help the truck in the front that is pulling. It also helps with braking as well. That locomotive is 430,000 pounds, so they need more trucks to control load.
@@kellenmatthews1440 I would assume so based on the route they took. It’s probably much easier to take it directly to wabtec then go to Davidson yard and then make their way to wabtec.
@@heavyhaul8621 Not sure, but they had bucket trucks in the convoy to deal with traffic lights that were too low. You can see them pass in the beginning of the video.
Aight, who spray painted Neko Arc on the side of the GEVO? 😂. I know of only 3 other weebs who are railfans and avid Fate/ series fans, so I know who I’m gonna ask first lmao.
Well…that’s something you don’t see very often!😯
my exact thoughts!
Guess that's a real road train
Question, are they required to stop at RR Crossings?
they are exempt, like crossing a diamond.
Could you imagine the trailer getting stuck on a crossing and then getting hit by a train? How would that get written up??? LOL
Cool video

That’ll buff out
What’s up w that second truck that’s hooked to the back of it?

@@ronaldrump2771 very cool, thanks!
@@ronaldrump2771 DPU? ;)
No, more like a manned helper. The pusher truck has a driver, and movements are coordinated by radio.
Braking and acceleration
Probably cheaper moving it by road than holding up the main line to be loaded onto a flat car.
@@tarmac2001 It eventually was loaded onto a flat car, I don’t know where it was done though. My friend saw it go through tower 55 on the railcam.
Is it going to be rebuilt at the wabtec locomotive shops in Texas, or what are they going to do with it??

I am wrong, It is going to North Little Rock Arkansas.
What’s the height ? Going to be a hell of a route
