I have to tell you growing up and hunting central Florida my entire life I can honestly say you have it figured out! Great job! You definitely have a new subscriber!
ua-cam.com/users/shortsISxbdFTP5Zk?si=49oyru4hOFqO-gpU got mine Sunday. Have videos on channel. 250 to 300 yard shot. Had to do 3 as well and tear apart my rifle after first shot. 😂
I love to bounce around as well, looks like yall made the right move to stay in that stand and it payed off! Congrats on one heck of a public land buck!!!
That deer was daring you to shoot him. A very rare opportunity to get three clear shots at the same deer. Brown on the ground is what counts. Awesome buck, especially for Florida. Congratulations!
In Florida that is like an Elk or a Musk, WoW what a hunt. Congratulations. Anybody would be shaking with such a Florida White Tail. I have never seen a buck like that. Thank you for sharing this hunting video.
Awesome. I live in Daytona and hunt in central Florida. Can I ask, How high up in that tree are you? It doesn't seem like much cover, but you were not busted. I have areas with those thinned-out pines and not much cover, and wonder how high I'd need to go for it to work. thanks!
Cindy was sitting about 25 feet up in this particular spot. When gun hunting, we can get away with being more in the open when we get at least that high. Archery hunting…we are usually 18-20 but with a little more cover.
Yeah thats a stud for sure, what public management area were you in, those woods are really nice. I like hunting different areas of Fla, just to see the other neighborhoods an meet others, nice buck tho, dang.
This is not a smart ass comment by any means…. Just something to think about, if the deer doesn’t know your there just wait for a better shot opportunity. 300 yards is a long way for someone who doesn’t shoot on a weekly basis at those distances.
The first shot was approximately 200 yards (which grazed the bucks brisket). The 2nd shot she missed completely which was most likely just due to nerves more than anything. The 3rd shot was perfect after she calmed herself down. She originally spotted the buck at 300 yards and used a rattle bag to get him to close the difference. I think buck fever happens to the best of us, but we both agreed that she needs a little more time this year behind the trigger. Thanks for watching.
There are only 2 places I know that hold good enough deer in Fl on public land to pass the 1st one. I need to start putting back in for that one. Was the husband the "help guest" not aloud to hunt?
My husband and I often switch back and forth between watching our boys and hunting. It just so happens he offered to let me have the whole hunt to myself while he watched our kids back at camp. Thanks for watching.
I live in PA. When you hunt in Florida, is there a special type of boots and pants to wear in case if you accidentally step on an alligator or poisonous snake?
That’s a great video and is real as it gets, I know it’s been a couple years but congratulations keep up the good work!

Good buck. Way to stick with it through the nerves and shakes, but that's what makes it exciting!
Fantastic video and great shot. Congratulations on a big buck down.
Nice thanks for sharing. Awesome Buck. Great shot too.

I’m over here in tiger bay! Hardly ever see a buck…. Hahaha awesome! Congrats!
Probably one of the toughest places to kill a good one in the state!

Never saw a public land buck that dumb. Congrats
I’ve seen where they have a hard time determining where a gun shot comes from or what it even was. One thing is for sure, he made his last mistake!
I live in PA. When you hunt in Florida, is there a special type of boots and pants to wear in case if you accidentally step on an alligator or poisonous snake?
No - you just roll the dice. At least that's what I do. I wear the same boot in FL that I do when hunting in PA.
@jbug308 If it was me I'd wear high boots that go up to the knees with snake guard on them
@@bobbydenezza7795 some people do.
Awesome!!
That was probably the dumbest deer in Florida.
Nice buck
If you don't get to shaking some then it's time to stop hunting. I'm 58 and still nerves will get you
ua-cam.com/users/shortsISxbdFTP5Zk?si=49oyru4hOFqO-gpU I'm 52
Hell ya!
I'd bet money your first shot was a hit
Might need to sight that rifle
It was dead on. She was just shaking from the buck and the cold!
Man you are goin to have to invest in a cart
