Wish my Dad was alive to listen and comment about this podcast. Dad would have loved to have heard this podcast. It would have jarred his memory of Bucks taken long ago. Thank you both. Dad is listening right now I’m sure.
Rick reminds me of my friends uncle who recently passed away, he was also my friend always a pleasure to see and hunt with and boy he told the best stories and if you started trading stories you were locked in for a minimum hour 😂 bet this was probably one of the easiest podcast you ever had to do lol
This was absolutely killer, Ricks raw enthusiasm is infectious. One thing, I would dearly love to pick this guy's brain a little more about still hunting western Whitetails. I'm from northern Alberta and do some tracking when the situation is prime for it, a little trail watching when I'm forced to, but I've been mostly still hunting the boreal foothills for almost 20 years... I bet this guy would be a very rare goldmine of wisdom on the type of hunting that I do.
Great interview. I only recently discovered Rick lives just a few mile down the road from me! I grew up hunting in Eastern Connecticut. Sure is different and much more difficult hunting up here. I have many acres to hunt from my door, woods are thick as can be. Finally shot one last year here. I'll bet Rick has parked right next to my house to hunt bobcats or even deer!
With all you've done there's only one thing you haven't done, It's time to make a hunt with the Prince of Poachers !! How bout it Rick ??? And this podcasts, DITTO !!!
Hey Rock is awesome you on a good recovery it was scary to watch. When I seen Mike's car up on the side of your car basically at your window all I could think his bumper entered your cock pit. And when I seen Mike run up to your car I got a upset stomach. As a fellow racer and a big fan of you and the rest of the boys it hits home. Just glad your doing well. 👍
I just enjoy your podcasts and enjoy listening to Rick, do have a question for Rick I’m interested in the holoson that spoke about, however there are quite a few different pistol models . Would you mind sharing the model that you’re using? Thanks Guys awesome Podcast
This is a real hunter , not the TV stars with face paint hunting in a farm where deer are raised till harvest like cattle. In when you say you got a deer they don't ask about antler score they ask "what did it weigh?"
I live in michigan and the only way I've ever got a buck to break the buffer by rattling is doing it from the ground making noise like breaking sticks and stiring up leaves.
Yup I live in central Michigan and I rattle from ladder stand and I have a string going down to some sticks on the ground for ground noise when I rattle
@@frankgonzales2462u comment on every comment calling him fake and a lier. We get it pal, you dont like him or perhaps you have yet to track even a doe, i says you jealous i says theres no doubt about it
Dropped the ball on this one. He wants to tell more deer stories and you tell him one more. 🤦♂️. His stories are better content than everything else out there
Cant say Ive enjoyed any interview more than this one. Wish I was younger now and could chase deer through the woods like Labbe. Great job guys.
I’ve watched/listened to a ton of UA-cam deer hunting interview shows and this one ranks up there with the very best. Well done to both Pat and Rick.
Thanks! Rick made it easy
I rarely listen to podcast but this I could not stop listening. It’s as if Rick has crammed 3 lifetimes into 1. Amazing.
