Just a quick peek over the fence to tell you hooligans to stay off my magnolias. Lol. I check in on your channel but almost never comment anymore. You are killing it! Congrats, brother. You worked your butt off and all that hard work is paying off. Keep up the good work.
History, Ken Stabler!!! I'm still HERE, Bo! Thank you for your inspiration and honesty. Great video, and I am looking forward to what you have in store next time, whenever you post it.😀
Love the Bradshaw poster and Steelers pennant. My sons in their youth use to collect baseball cards. Now their sons took over their collection and they now collect.
Great video. Nice to see you back. Yep get past 50 and if you’re anything like me you start looking at your collection & realise they’re are records in there that will never get played again....because time won’t allow!...it’s dead cash. I call it the vinyl collector/ realisation of mortality moment! Hope you keep posting.
It was different when vinyl was cheap - even the rare stuff... now, even junk is pricey - the fun is gone so I just do digital except a rare instance - so I listen digitally (but you knew that). Yup, definitely a cool Eddie poster.
I used to be the first one to comment on a lot of new videos. I am loosing my touch. So good to see this new video Bo. After speaking to you a few days ago I was hoping that you would post a new one. I got my wish granted. I did know how much a lot of the stuff that you enjoy reading about and collecting meant to you. Anyone who has followed your channel and who has not missed many of your videos could probably post a video just on your videos. {smile} One of the things that I remember you doing a video on was lunchboxes. I have been looking for classic lunchboxes to pop up at yard sales since you talked about them a few years ago. I will find one or two for you one of these days. I am also a card collector from way back. Hopefully I will share some of my hockey collection in one of my upcoming videos. Fortunately I was old enough when the 10¢ packs of Topps Hockey Cards were being sold. I used to walk down to this store called Drohan's and I would stand in front of the front window contemplating how many packs that I could buy with the two dollars and change that I saved up from my paper route. The owner loved the kids so he always stocked the penny candy inside and the four major sports carts in the front window. I still buy packs of cards occasionally. One of my friends that lives in Philly who collects vinyl also belongs to the card community here on You Tube. His handle is Weskergriff if you want to check out his videos. He keeps me posted as to what is hot in baseball, football, etc.. Well respected and really nice guy. Anyways. It pleases me to see and hear about your other interests. I knew that you were a history buff from way back. I will support all of your videos. I do not only watch your videos because of your music knowledge and your vinyl finds. I also consider you a longtime friend that I met thanks to the VC and our common interest in music. I respect you very much Bo. I have said it before and I will say it again. You do have leadership qualities. Well done. Enjoy the rest of the weekend~ Rob/Boston
Wow Rob, such a nice comment. Thank you very much. You are a true gentleman and a legend in the VC. I too have started collecting hockey since Seattle joined the nhl. But in my indomitable way I’ve focused on the past. Mostly getting 70s hickey cards. I really love the old WHA items. I have two complete sets and a dozen pennants. My only nhl pennant is the California golden seals. I don’t have cable anymore but I do get CBUT out if Vancouver BC so I do watch hockey night in Canada on saturdays. Especially if the kraken are playing. I do like more than football I promise. It’s just all that football stuff ended up together. Btw, yes, your comment was definitely one of the determining factors for doing this. Like I said, I never completely shut any door. I will continue to buy records and shoot videos. But there isn’t any rhyme or reason to it. Just when it feels right I guess. Stay well my friend.
Bo, good to see you back. Yea man you can’t forget to listen to the music. That’s what it’s all about. Make a video when you feel it. Look forward to seeing you next time. Peace ☮️ Namaste 🙏 the Zonkman
Oh Wow...a new Bo video! Glad to hear you're doing alright Bo. So you're reinventing yourself, are ya? That's cool Bo, do what you want and love. I just came back after five months of no video's. I'm doing well now with my job. See you whenever you do a new video. Bring out Lulu!!!
Hey Bo, good to see you after all this time. Sounds like you have some amazing life experiences lined up. I did a fair bit of travelling around Europe when I was in my 20s and got it out of my system. Happy to chill out these days and just spin that vinyl ( or CDs) Take care.
Awesome honest video Bo, I think you're spot on about collecting and how much records can consume you to the point you're no longer listening to them, you're just chasing the next grail. I enjoyed this very much, thank you for sharing, take care ✌☮
Hey Bo, I getcha. I love music, but over the past years, I had to slow it all down because I found myself buying shit just to be buying shit. And sometimes feeling really stupid afterward. Now I am more aware. I still hunt...because that's always been the best part...but now I buy the albums I really want to spend time with...rather than to impress. (if that makes any sense) I have other interests, too. I like tabletop sports games. Stratomatic, Payoff Pitch, Statis Pro. Rolling the dice. Flipping the cards. Collecting different team seasons. And I spin my albums while I play. That's also a great way to find the records I really enjoy and what I need to purge. I love baseball games on the radio. Royals and Cubbies...whichever one is going. And I buy a MLB sub. every year. I'm a big reader, as well. Finally, life's too short. I can see it all around me. Now, I haven't given up the hobby either...I've just put to bed the need to try and keep up. Glad you posted just to know you're still out there. You, along with a handful of early UA-camrs from the beginning got my feet wet in the vinyl hobby...and for that, I will forever be grateful. ~stay safe...and lucky. Casey
Casey, you nailed it. It was one thing to be taking chances with purchases when they were cheap. But now? I was feeling stupid all the time with bad buys. I love listening to baseball on the radio. In fact, I often listen to old games on UA-cam at bedtime.
Always great to see you Bo. I am a collector of many things like you Bo and agree 100% on everything that you’ve said. I am so glad that I’m not pigeon holed to collect on specific thing. Great showing of records. The 90’s is where it’s at. Dig “ the snake “ poster.
Kenny Stabler! RIP. Yeah, I’m collecting more cards than records these says. More time outside to. I go to Amanda Park in the Olympic National Forest and visit my friend Jac and his wife. He has cool cards and lunchboxes as well. Hood to hear from you, Andre.
Hi Dapper Bo..... what a pleasure it is to see you again. Great confession.... I don't collect any other thing.... but I listen to music and I buy it to play.... love cds and box sets especially.. cannot let that go..it's part of what keeps me grounded.. but I understand completely your point of view. God bless and hope you get to do all you like...
Hi. I think it is all too easy to be draged along a hype train. It is really great to hear that you have found your true calling where you can do things that matters for you. A brave video, and an honest one. I do look forward to the next video, whenever it will come. Take care. ❤️from🇸🇪
Hello Bo; Good to see you back. Just in time for spring training, opening day. Like the football decorated room, we are Jet fans. We have a collection of football cards. The original ABA ball looks good. Media in whatever form you like works regardless of the format LP's, CD's or Cassette tapes. Stay well, take care. Till next time. Tina & Pat!~
Hi guys, I’m a Seahawks fan myself. Since I’ve been selling off the vast majority of my collection I’ve invested a large portion of the proceeds into my other interests. I’ve got a ton of other sports as well. In fact, one friend told me my house looks like a sports bar now. Stay well.
Hey Bo, great to see you. Love the intro🤣🤣 and digging the refreshing honesty :) I hear you with collecting, I feel like I'll eventually make it to the bridge you've crossed. Haven't made a video in a long time and my vinyl collection size has gone backwards in that time. I was buying for the sale of owning, not to listen. I'm listening more to CD and tape these days, that's all I can play in my shed while I work. Always good to take stock, which it sounds like you've done a lot of. Love seeing your room morph and evolve with the pennants. Enjoy those Midwest history trips later this year!! Cheers- Dean
Dean! How’re you brother? Lightening the load as well I see. Thanks for the shoutout on the intro. I thought it was hilarious but it seemed to go unnoticed. Lol. Hope you’re well and still enjoying the greatest vintage bathroom of all time!
Nice seeing you post again, Bo! I can understand what your talking about. I am starting over again trying to spin through all of my records and start thinning them out. Ever since 2015 when my migraines got so bad that I had to stop working on a bachelors degree, I started reading books for pleasure again. I have several books that I've bought mainly at thrift stores where I can buy them for around the same price as the records are at them. I also get records for free that I can read from my ereaders. Some are new releases, but I am also into books that are in the public domain. Take care and hope to see more videos by you.
Have to admit that, at 65 years old, when I stand in my music room and look around, makes me wonder how am I gonna listen to nearly all 5k of my recordings. Doubt if I'll be able to listen to everything, while still playing my favorites. I have, what, 5, 10 maybe 20 years left on this planet if im lucky? So yeah I know where you are coming from. I've also started to buy more CDs as well. Lastly great score on the Mudhoney! Really a groundbreaking band that's overlooked. People, mainly the older ones who snubbed Grunge, need to really listen to the music. Always thought that Era was a breath of fresh air. And that Maiden album with all the extras....sweet.
The 90s were a big breath of fresh air for music. 80s really started to get stake. So much sounded alike. So much synthesizer it got boring. For me, with record prices what they’d cloned too and everybody buying, deals had fallen through the cracks. Everything is priced to what the market would bear. I mean when albums like Rumors, which used to be a thrift store staple, hitting $25 dollars and up? It wax time to enjoy other mediums. In fact? I’m ok with just bringing up a playlist on my phone. I mean, and this is where I list my train of thought in the video, music is all about mood and activity. It’s why the music of old nfl films is so moving. It builds the drama. At this stage I’d rather build memories or buy baseball cards.
Hi Bo Nice to see you back. Hope you are well. I’ve used to be a big (American) football fan; but for the last 25+ years that’s switched to basketball. After seeing some of your posts on Instagram (?) I’m now on the lookout for Spur’s pennants for each of their championships. Take care Kevin
Hey Kev, I have an old Spurs pennant from the 70s (ice Gervin days). I’ve got tons of old basketball too. ABA, NBA, etc. in my living room I have a Pistol Pete Maravich poster and New Orleans Jazz poster. My first NBA game as a kid was those same New Orleans Jazz at my Seattle SuperSonics. Hope you are well.
Interesting video Bo. Nostalgia also plays a part in me buying vinyl I think. I can’t get excited by cds or cassettes. Also cassettes don’t wear well and often stretch over time. Stay well.
Exactly. You are passionate about records. You have a discerning ear. I have neither of these. For me? I just like listening to music. So in the end the medium doesn’t matter. I still buy records occasionally. When the bug hits and the price is right. But honestly? I’d rather chase lunch boxes or Hartland gunfighters.
I listen, I haven’t bought many records either, BUT! I did play my Bo vclt not long ago 😁 thank you for the music 🙏🏻 good to see ya take care Bo- Lis 😎🎶✊🏻☮️🇺🇦
Hi Bo... Will you look at the old ABA Bball. Cool. Aww Kenny Stabler, loved that team. Steelers I always hated. LOL .... I ain't a collector either Bo. Ever since I started here I told all the collectors I'm a listener not a collector. It's the nostalgia for me. I have very few "New" records... Actually any artifact from back in the day or way back when piques my interest. Be true to yourself Bo Baby, that's the ticket... Nice to see you again kid...
Hi Bobby. In another bedroom I have an homage to the old WHA. My favorite piece? A Minnesota Fighting Saints pennant (the Hanson brothers real life team). My friends joke my house looks like a sports bar with all the old nostalgia. Funny thing? We too hate the Steelers. Before Seattle had a team we rooted for Oakland and the stealers (as I call them) kept beating the raiders in the afc championship. Until 1976 that is, but Seattle was in the league that year so our interest in Oakland wasn’t as strong. Plus, thanks to the officials, the stealers beat my hawks in Super Bowl XL. Love your love videos bobby. Keep them coming.
Like the Stabler poster & helmets Bo. As a pennant collector hope you got a short run Washington "Football Team" ...LOL I am a football card collector myself. I was a Houston Oilers collector. I say was because you don't find them much anymore. Do you collect a certain team, player or set?
I collect it all. Recently I’ve been highlighting the WHA and ABA. I prefer defunct teams and leagues. I do have an oilers pennant. It’s just out of view. When they had grey helmets.
About half the cds I have aren't on any streaming service. I would never get rid of hardly any of it as I'd be one unrenewed contract from having the music that is available on a streaming service taken away. Professional sports specifically baseball are heavily in decline to my eyes. MLB isn't worth watching and in all honesty I'd rather watch a minor league game.
So good to see you Bo!

Great video, and I am looking forward to what you have in store next time, whenever you post it.😀
The Snake! I may do a series on wha I kept and why. We will see. Thanks for the comment!
Love the Bradshaw poster and Steelers pennant. My sons in their youth use to collect baseball cards. Now their sons took over their collection and they now collect.
I reinherited my old sports cards and pennants. My nephew, though himself a good athlete, was never interested in those things.
Great video. Nice to see you back. Yep get past 50 and if you’re anything like me you start looking at your collection & realise they’re are records in there that will never get played again....because time won’t allow!...it’s dead cash. That’s a great description. Vivid. Touché.
It was different when vinyl was cheap - even the rare stuff... now, even junk is pricey - the fun is gone so I just do digital except a rare instance - so I listen digitally (but you knew that). Yup, definitely a cool Eddie poster.
Had it been Eddie from Frasier? The price would have doubled.
Welcome back......great moustache boy.....greetings from Greece.....ah i love the Mystic Astrologics......bests

Bo, nice to see you pop up. Congrats to Matt for forcing your hand. Good to hear your thoughts on the state of your non-collection. Thanks, Chris
Called me out Paladin style. Wait, Paladin didn’t do the calling, he did the answering. Lol. So I guess, I’m Paladin here.
Opening was golden …:)
Why thanks, Bob. I thought with everything going on in the world it was topical yet hilarious.

I travelled a bit in my teens and 20s on uncle sams dime. But there are a few places in the US I’ve always wanted to see. I’m an old west kind of guy.
Yay! Welcome back you,Matt and zeek in the same week Happy Friday! Trish

My pleasure. It really was getting out of control. But that’s for me. I make no assessment about anyone else.

Oh yes. Music is still a big part of my life. I just do not feel the need to own it all on vinyl. So much I want even listening to.
Hi. I think it is all too easy to be draged along a hype train. It is really great to hear that you have found your true calling where you can do things that matters for you.
