    I love Lee Hazelwood myself. One of my favorite songwriters. I hope to find Cowboy in Sweden someday, that's my all time grail I've been hunting forever. Would love to find those Sonics records someday too.

      I live in the PNW. Those Sonics records used to grow on trees around here. Lee ixx as great. I’ve never seen cowboys in Sweden.

    Good morning Bo. Loving the hockey memorabilia on the wall. Classic Sabres, Jets and the one and only NE Whalers banners. But the Espo jersey is the best. We got to meet him a handful of times at the Bruins practices in the early seventies. Plus he showed up at the Sons of Italy a few times. A funny down to earth guy. The Serpent Power, Eden's Children and the Nightcrawlers were a few that I did not know. You kept a few of the early VC staples which was nice to see. Anyone who has watched your channel for as long as I have would be able to pick out quite a few of the ones that your would keep in your collection. Especially the two 13th Floor E's albums. Very cool original pressings BTW. Outstanding keepers Bo. You have rounded out your collection nicely. Looking forward to endless tripping part 3~

      I love the old WHA stuff, to include the NE Whalers! The first AVCO Cup champs. Howard Baldwin was a great owner. Did you ever see them? I know they had the great Andre LaCroix at one time, Rob. I love that Espo tee. That saying cracks me up. I have a ton more hockey stuff. It’s just on different walls. I love the defunct stuff. WHAT, KC Scouts, Colorado Rockies, etc.

    These 2 videos have been great Bo. I must say I'm kinda sad that a lot of your fine collection went, I remember all those old fun videos. But hey, that's how it goes. Cheers!

      Well, I just came to the realization that I wasn’t playing many of them. Only so much time, right? Better to move it to the next guy I think.

    Hey Bo! Man seeing you doing videos again really brings back memories of first coming into the VC! It was a lot simpler then The community has become more of a continent LoL! Listen to me I sound like I’m talking about a VC from years and years ago when in actuality it’s been 5-6 yrs! Haha!
    Man I’d love to lay hands on that Endless trip book! But geez-us it’s pricey!
    Picked up a copy of that Next Exit recently and I dig it! You mentioned Lee Hazelwood, I picked up a copy of the Kitchen Cynq anthology and I believe he signed them to his LHI record label! I probably told you this already but I paid Matt Sands a visit at Gold Pan RS and he had a copy of Ultimate Spinach that he informed me had once belonged to you that he ended up with I assume maybe thru VCLT or whatever. But I ended up buying that US record so every time I show it I mention you and Matt used to own it LoL! I Love name dropping legends of the VC like you and DJ Mellow Yellow!
    Some super groovy records here Bo! Glad you’ve come back and I would be honored if you would be so cool as to allow me to give you a shout out in a future Cosmic Vinyl video! Name dropping again! Haha!
    Welcome back Bo! ✨✌️👽✨

      Thanks for the kind words. Yes, the vc has changed. I myself understand things have to evolve and change to survive. I know there are a few influencer types now. Personally I say more power to them. If you can find a way to make money with something you like? Go for it.

    Hello Bo; The psych bible, the Endless Trip. Remember the days of vinyl collecting, competing to see who can find what & the store it was found in. Like the basketball / hockey wall of fame. Some real good psych LP showings. Good version of Codine by Sean & the Brandywines. Good video series. Take care, Tina & Pat!~

      I’ll have to check out that version. It’s one of my favorite 60s runes. I’ve got sooo much sports memorabilia strung all over the place. Looks like a kid lives here. Well if the year was 1978. lol.

    Hi Bo, great to see you show some wonderful records. I've been selling some of my records - just the records I won't ever listen to again. Been spending the proceeds on World War 2 air raid warden stuff! I guess I've reached that age. Good to see you in such fine form. All the best, Steve.

      Hi Steve! See, I love that. Using one passion to sustain another. That’s brilliant. I have a friend who dies that with hockey cards. Buys them on the cheap and flips them so he can buy cards he wants for his PC.

    Welcome back Bo....an info that you won't find on the web is that the "Prelude" on the Millenium lp was written by Hadjidakis.... and donated to the band...Manos was in America at the time working in the movies and probably befriended with the guys in the band....he was way cool....bests....

  • @caseyflip

    Good stuff! Isn't it funny how we can remember where we found a record, the circumstances, who was with us, how much, etc...years after finding it? You just can't beat that "vinyl rush" stumbling on a gem in the wild. (Of course, I do both) but man, what a thrill when you find it yourself, right?
    I know the "Endless Trip" would be a fun book to have on hand...so I went online to see if i could order a copy at Amazon....and the cheapest USED copy was $999.97. The book is worth more than my meager collection! (I find that funny...and sad.)

    Unrelated, but sports-minded, I subscribe to Cubs baseball (MLB blacks-out KC Royals) and the Cubbies new manager looks just like you (Craig Councell). Your doppleganger. Anyway...whenever the manager has to make the long walk out to the mound, I keep expecting the pitcher to hand Councell the ball...and Councell handing the pitcher a used copy of "The Animated Egg"! Funny thought, yea? ~peace casey

    • @earheadsix4119
      @earheadsix4119  3 місяці тому +1

      Funny thing? The animated egg was a record I purged. lol. My GF says I look like Steve McQueen. I’ll take that over Councel lol. I got my copy 10 or so years ago for what I thought was whopping then. $60. I had never spent that on a book before. I tacitly root for the mariners these days. Their games are in a very expensive cable level so the games are inaccessible to me. I’d rooted for them since inception (1977). I am frustrated we’re the only team to not make a World Series.

      @@earheadsix4119 I didn't know that. I did hear our announcers share a fact about your team, though.
      "The 2003 Seattle Mariners are the only American League team to use the same five starting pitchers for the entire season." I find this INCREDIBLE! No injuries. How is this possible? Anyway take care.

    I actually really like that Zig Zag album! I’m a huge Bubblegum rock fan so I was stoked to hear some weird versions of the BG hits . Man I have been looking for that NightCrawlers LP forever! I’ve only seen 2 people show it in the VC Steve Carlson & now you! Not sure why I haven’t picked up any Free Design as I do like some sunshine pop! I found what I believe is a test pressing of Tiffany Shade at a local RS No cover art barely anything on the label It was a weird find. I was turned onto Chocolate Watchband by watching guys like you and Dan from Dots & Loops and I’ve been a huge fan ever since!
    I also kind of dig that Toad Hall which at the time was a cheap one to pick up but not anymore LoL! Nothing comes cheap anymore! I wanted to watch that Seeds rock doc but now that you’ve said it’s not good I may have to change my tune What streaming service is it available on? Standells baby! Found both Good Guys & Try It in a thrift shop in a town called Fort Dodge Iowa! How do those albums end up in a shop in the middle of nowhere?!? Thanks for sharing all these amazing albums Bo! And thanks for coming back! Peace ✨✌️👽✨

    "I kept 'Again' because I like it." It's tough to argue with that reasoning. Ted Nugent is the name you were looking for. I'm one of those people who can't separate the art from the real life. lol I think I'm with you on United States of America/Joe Byrd. Please let me be the first to know if you decide to purge The Other Half - I'll bet your copy is in better shape than mine so I'd like to upgrade. "...at least not to me" that's an interesting thing about music - something that I don't care for at all might be someone else's favorite. There are lots of VC favorites I could name that I totally do not get. Thanks for showing the records!

    • @earheadsix4119
      @earheadsix4119  2 місяці тому

      I agree. Ted Nugent. Yes abhorrent. But stranglehold takes me back to a simpler time. Watching wccw wrestling on espn and Kevin Von Erich coming to the ring. It’s more about the feeling elicited from the music for me. I hear you though. We all have to do what have to.

    Wow your lee hazelwood collection is awesome! I love the Nancy and Lee album, especially lady bird. Rainy Day records is maybe my favorite record store now since jankuland has closed. Wow those OG Sonics are awesome, I like boom more, especially shot down. Golden Dawn is awesome! Woah OG chocolate watch band!!! That’s awesome, I would say there are in my top bands of the 60s, they are just incredible. My favorite is inner mystique, I have a sundazed reissue, I would even say inner mystique is my favorite album of 1968. Iv been trying to find the seeds doc, where were you able to see it? I haven’t gotten into standells yet much. Hi-Voltage records had a few originals but they want like 40 each which seems kinda high to me

    • @earheadsix4119
      @earheadsix4119  2 місяці тому +1

      The seeds doc? I saw it on Vimeo for free. It really was disappointing. I expected so much more. If we are talking 60s groups? For me, my favorite remains the small faces. But only the Marriott years. I was in a record store in Aberdeen today. I sad the blues maggos never going back to Georgia. I purged that record years ago. I had to remind myself I didn’t need it when the old juices started flowing.

    Hey let's leave Uncle Ted's politics out of it I didn't stop listening to Joni Mitchel because I personally didn't care for her view MY 2 CENTS entertainers need to refrain from using their platform for politics if they wan to go to rallies and have their say but if you push your agenda then you have to be willing to pay the price regardless of your opinion.
    Apart from that great music and I like the idea of putting your money it what you like and slimming down your collection to what you listen to on the regular.

    • @earheadsix4119
      @earheadsix4119  2 місяці тому

      I hear you. You make a great point. I share generally in your synopsis. If an artist chooses to use their platform? Good for them. Free to enjoy the benefits or suffer the consequences. For me? I choose not to let the platform dissuade me from listening or watching. I choose to separate the two. But I suppose that would have its limits too. But yes, I like the Amboy Dukes and a few select songs from his solo catalog. Stranglehold was great ring entrance music for the Von Erichs.
