Building an O9 Model of an 18" Gauge Works Loco from the Springside Models Kit: Unboxing

Normally when I start building a model on this channel I've already done quite a bit of research and prep, but as you'll see in this video I hadn't even opened the box. So what am I building well.... it's an O9 model, so 7mm to the foot scale running on 9mm gauge track, of a tiny 18" gauge works loco from a kit by Springside models. This is a new scale/gauge for me so should be an interesting build.

That's an interesting kit. I wish more on18/o9 kits were still white metal. Adding weight to the resin ones is tricky at times. Too bad that donor mechanism looks to be discontinued
