Pretty cool tech demo of what the engine can do.

If you fly 10 minutes up you have to fly 10 minutes down xD
With some more optimisations this could be really nice.
Fps stays between 38-60 usually around 40-45

Up high he needs to be able to move faster. Once reaching a certain level to the ground reduced the flying speed to reasonable levels or a speed slider to set your own level of speed while in the city
That would definitely need to be the case in a real game with this scope. To me it even fits Superman thematically that after a certain height it’s “safe” for him to fly at unrestricted speeds without endangering stuff on the ground.

Yeah, first thing I thought when I saw this. I mean, I know this is just a demo, but having multiple speed levels, with sonic booms and stuff would be pretty awesome

I know everyone complaining about the speed but don’t you think if he flies at the speed everyone wants and wishes him to he’d destroy the whole world and besides he’s not fighting a dangerous villain like doomsday or brainiac or darkseid so this is perfect 👍 and good work

add a casualty meter which will determine possible mission outcomes. increase high atmospheric flight speed and keep the current speed in the city limits.

Hello, I stopped games 8-10 years ago because of work and forgot about them, tried it again couple weeks ago and I still love it, it gives me most joy in life from other hobbies, I suggest you try to financially settle yourself to have more time on your hobbies because life is short

My point exactly. I need MSP2 with this level of “no pop-ins” textures from nanite (ik, IG uses their own engine, my point is games look good AF with texture crisp and loaded), some decent speed (a little more than ps4 one), and similar graphics to this (or even to the ps4 MSP, i love the semi-real-look)
Only Spiderman? There's like another whole bunch of super powered characters that deserves a game like Ps4 spiderman ( Iron man , Superman, Thor , Hulk , Venom, Flash , Wolverine ( already a product in the works but no sign yet of how it'll look )
Played the Superman John Williams theme in another tab and it made this 100% more epic and matched so well. I'm working on the Daily Planet at the moment inspired by this creation maybe one day someone will create Metropolis and combine it with this mod.

To be honest superman returns the game on xbox 360 and ps2 had the best flight feeling that was ever implemented in the games, nothing compares to that. If only a strong developer like Rocksteady or WB can make a superman game in UE5 with similar flying mechanics like in superman returns and with that big of a city like here, or even bigger, damn that would be awesome.

The movement and speed look amazing to me. It can't be so fast you can't play it, right?
The cape seems to be struggling. It looks a bit like a bath towel being worn as a cape. Capes seem like the trickiest garment in real-time, because it's nothing but drapery. A cape is a half-circle, or even a full circle, with a slit cut down the radius for the wearer's head to come through. It then drapes down all the way around, and the front is usually thrown over the shoulders. But that kind of drapery is a clipping nightmare. The PS5 may solve a lot, but I haven't seen it solve that. The Arkham Batman cape dealt with the problem by having the cape stretch and contract radically, as well as employing a huge set of specific animations for all occasions, which interacted with the wind direction and whatever Batman was doing. It was an enormous work-around to deal with the fact that real time animation just isn't there yet.
I can see nba 2k getting these graphics for the arena, while the players are still doing jump shots inside the paint and passing the ball out of bounds when the players right beside them
This with Ant-Man instead of Superman and the possibility to switch from ant-size to human size would be dope af

This demo is not my work. But i left water out for a reason lol. Usually im always looking at water quality myself but this was rather disappointing haha.
I wish the graphics of DC Universe Online looked like this. It would be the best thing they would have done
Visuals show the breaking of the sound barrier but he's too slow for that

Уровень реализма зашкаливает не особым фанатом был движка анриал до этого, но щас он конечно на голову все движку обошёл в плане реализма и возможности в этот реализм играть, раньше подобная картинка 10 фпсбы выдавала, а они умудрились все эти красоты оптимизировать, чтобы это стало игрой =)

I've Played "Just Cause" I know this is possible.
Tbh I'd need the well populated pedestrians and traffic over big above map space.
Like this with missions it will be A 15 gb game file, that takes 30 mins to load up and start playing.

Fly like that when between buildings.
MUCH faster when just above the buildings.
Throwable empty cars, objects, damagable textures objects.
Avoidable civilians ( just like in The Crew)- so some spoiled brats wouldn't do mass murder in the game.
Places with the interaction.
Some checkpoints with racing.
After campaign content and missions.
Good story and you good to go

That's not real Superman should be able to fly as fast as lightning that means he should reach the buildings instantaneously
Mine just crashes as soon after entering either door in start menu. Is the 5800x not powerful enough? I'm using a 6800xt as well, so I don't think it would be that. Also only have 16gb of RAM.
5800 is in gaming specs not that much slower so i doubt it. Ram shouldnt be an issue in the smaller one either i guess. Vram seems fine. Maybe you are running unstable overclocks or something? Might also be some other software is interfering.
