I get it though. Talk to a cop and you could be the one charged even if it wasn’t you. I’m not saying it’s something to brag about like they did, but cops are not your friends. They may act that way when they need information or to de-escalate but you can’t really know if a cop is actually on your side or not

true, but it goes both ways. you think that cop gives a flying fuck about helping the community? hell no. he’s worried about making arrests, meeting quotas, and getting that promotion.
it’s adversarial on both sides. and the real problem isn’t the street kids anyway, anyone raised in that environment is going to turn out like that. like the cop said, “they’re as typical as it gets”
the real problem is the poverty. as long as we let these communities continue to decay & go underfunded, this problem will never go away

Here's some truth do you think those young men care about gun control laws? Do you think they care about drug laws? No, so what do they care about, well it's surviving day to day by any means necessary.

Well to play devil's advocate, imagine you're a witness to a murder and you know the shooter. The shooter knows you too, so if you did talk to the police, there's a good chance they would know who informed. Sure, you can say you'd be smart about it, but in a neighborhood, people know who lives where, and I wouldn't want to risk my family's life and health over my business.

      Plot twist:
Answering with "because the police are here", he is trying to instigate, provoke a deeper conversation by taking a side, just for arguments sake, answering metaphysical question "can something exist without being perceived"..
      Does observation affects outcome?
The strong, classical view assumes that objects studied by metaphysics exist independently of any observer, so that the subject is the most fundamental of all sciences. The weak, modern view assumes that the objects studied by metaphysics exist inside the mind of an observer, so the subject becomes a form of introspection and conceptual analysis.
Homie is proponent of the new and modern, saying that the crime exist only when witnessed by police officer..
He is philosopher, metaphysician and naturally quantum physicist enthusiast.
Interviewer obviously knew nothing about metaphysics..
No wonder he doesn't understand the lives homies live and how gained knowledge leads their lifestyle..
Please leave Louis Theroux, you're in the middle of scientific conference and come prepared next time.

I'm one of the black Americans who had opportunities.
    I'm 27, with a 777 credit score, own a home, make $6,000 a month + $3500 from real estate.
I was adopted so I have a married 2 parent black household, I grew up in a predominantly white neighborhood, my mom had her Masters and could help with homework, my dad taught me to drive, I played sports and stayed out of trouble.
For 1 semester of high school I moved to Brooklyn New York and my grades plummeted
    In Seattle
I was told AGAIN and AGAIN the importance of education.
In New York I lived in a broken home with an alcoholic mom who did drugs.
The only thing that sets me apart from being one of these guys on the street corner is the value system instilled in me and the expectation of my environment.
I ended up hopeless in college,
    Joined the military
    Finished my BA
    Applied for Job after job
Finally found a life changing career.
I have a wife, we just had twins.
So this isn't s race thing it's something abstract that only individuals can strive to change and it won't be easy.
In fact watch this video makes me feel like it's helpless for you guys but I'll always hold all blacks to a high standard
If you want something to change you need to do it for yourself
Government won't do it for you .
    HARD WORK,
    DEDICATION,
    OPPORTUNITY, PREPARATION,
    THE BELIFE IN ONSELF
& THE CONSISTENT WILL TO WANT IT.

Issues like this have been fixed in a lot of places. What makes it hopeless is a lack of political will to trust the experts to put resources where they need to be. And that lack of political will comes from people believing it's hopeless. Why do people believe it's hopeless? Lots of reasons varying from racism to a lack of empathy to misinformation. Nobody wants to look at the big picture, they just want to complain about black thugs forever with no solution.

@@3hree0sama7 if ur 👱🏿‍♂️, ur people literally kill each other the most. Like defunding the police would literally lead to more 👱🏿‍♂️ ppl dying lol. The 👱🏿‍♂️community has big issues that THEY need to fix, like not having a father at home, stupid gang shit etc... the police aren’t even a problem. Y’all just wanna point the finger at someone else cause you can’t change ur selves. I have to use emojis cause UA-cam keeps deleting my damn comments.

They literally don't have a brain cell between them, the cop bamboozled them a 2:35. Shame, looks like a rough neighborhood.

TO be fair I ent one for police either, but you gotta admit he makes a fair point that copper. If nobody is gonna say who done what, they gotta stop people and make inquiries other wise the killers gonna keep killin. Nobody kills just one person, I imagine once you get a taste for it it becomes easier and easier to take lives.

Mddope Nutts I think we should let them kill each other. The cops can't be blamed and they get to destroy their community.

Jay Santana - To that I say, so how’s that system workin out for ya? My point is it’s not. The foundation of any thriving community is law and order. Law & Order leads to economic development. Economic development leads to low unemployment rates. All of this makes for a prosperous community where everyone benefits.
