Ham Tyler, one of the best characters in the original V. He was a total badass, but he did have a human side too as he formed a bond with Ruby. His revenge plot on Daniel was great.

Michael Ironside was such an intimidating presence in anything he was in! Even when he played the so-called "good guy", you just didn't want to mess with this guy!
This was one of my favorite scenes in the entirety of the original "V" saga. During the first miniseries and part 1 of the Final Battle the Visitors did most of the heavy duty ass kicking but this was the first time when someone with the Resistance finally punched back in a physical and violent way-and won. Ham Tyler was THEE bad ass on this show, bar none. I still don't want to find myself on Michael Ironside's shit list.
It’s a war of attrition and you need to prosecute it in the most demoralizing, painful way possible for the invader. The longer a war of resistance goes on the more it favors the defender
Back when they casted roles perfectly. Over halfway through a show's combined run they bring in a beleivable actor who you could believe would be a hardened fighter from another part of a global war elsewhere. Not a pretty boy with perfectly messed up shaggy hair and abs, Ironside was fantastic here and one of his best roles.
Fair few have now passed on of course. RIP.. You ALL contributed to this series brilliantly. Bless 👏.... Wasn't aware Mickey Jones (Chris Farber) died in 2018.. Thought his character was 'Jackson'!! ❤ the OG's + series tbf
Fun fact, in the Christmas episode, Ham Tyler dressed up as Santa Clause to surprise a little girl he'd bonded with throughout the episode. In battle he was a merciless killer, but he had a human side. We saw it first with Ruby, he later went on to be close with Julie and despite all their many disagreements, he also cared for Donovan and saved his life several times.
Not to forget the last SEA QUEST Season. After Roy Schneider he gave the whole project a new drive. In a way he always reminds me at John Wayne just in better.
One of my favorite scenes from The Final Battle miniseries. Tyler was/is a badass! You want him on your side, and you do NOT want to cross him. You will find out that you have made a tragic mistake not soon after....
Amazing character. There’s a scene at the end of the movie series where they’ve taken the visitors embassy. One of the visitors, Andrew is trying to get away. Ham Tyler trips the guy and then as he’s lying on the ground dumps a pouch of the red dust right on his face. I had never seen anything that crazy bad ass when I was six years old and first saw Ham Tyler do it.
I'm convinced that half the reason V: The Series was made was to simply give Ironside more screentime as Ham Tyler, as his presence in the Final Battle is such a shot in the arm that the showrunners had no choice but to capitalize on his presence.

Daniel got what he deserved he was a brownshirt.
