    Love to see a comparison between the Hikmocro E20 and the Infiray T2. Seem very similar.

      Hopefully I can do that at some point, I'll make enquiries. 🤓

      @@garywilson6146 Thanks for watching. 👏
      I haven't compared the two yet, but my main issue with images I've seen of the T2 is WTF are they attaching a visible red laser for, that just seems a pointless gimmick devised by a non-shooter?!?
      The handheld mount looks sensible though, as when holding a smartphone by the edges you can press the screen accidentally.
      Cheers. Russ

      @@RussDouglas222 agree with you on the red light. There is a gun mount available too which looks like a good option.

      @@garywilson6146 I can't see any rifle mount being practical, unless the mount fixing the T2 to the rifle is as rock-solid as any scope mount. 🤷🏻‍♂

    Hi there Russ, I have a question. Which of the 3 night vision goggles would you take? I quip about the Pard DS35, Hikmicro Alpex and the ATN 5th generation. Which of these viewers do you prefer rats?

    • @RussDouglas222
      @RussDouglas222  Рік тому +1

      You mean NV scopes? (they're not goggles).
      I bought the Pard DS35-50RF & DS35-70RF for sub-12 and FAC use respectively, but the HIKMICRO Alpex and Cheetah both have a great wide FOV for ratting, and the Sightmark Wraith 4k mini is great on low mag too.
      I've never used ATN, they've had serious unreliability issues in the past, but hopefully they're past that now.
      Cheers. Russ

    Is the aiming reticle already loaded into the program?

    • @RussDouglas222
      @RussDouglas222  8 місяців тому

      This is not for targeting and does not come with a mount, so I assume it has no reticle; this is a spotter.

    Take it that little gadget would work with a tablet ?
    .

      I haven't tried that myself but am 100% sure it will. Using it on a 0.5m or 1m remote cable might be less cumbersome than waving a tablet about though (although so far I've only tested it on the shorter one). 🤔
      Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ

    Need a rifle phone mount and can use that instead of a conventional scope!

      I can't see that working except at short-range due to the low-res of this spotter, but I'd love to see this in a rock-solid (and detachable) mount fitted on the objective lens of an Alpex, plugged-in via USB-C and fulfilling the role of an add-on wide-angle day & night thermal spotter, in a PIP view.
      Of course HIKMICRO would have to write the firmware to enable this... but I've already asked them about it. 🤞🤓🎯
      Cheers. Russ
