I fill up the new raised strawberry bed with compost and manure compost. The beans on one side of the bean archway has been eaten by slugs so I plant some Greek Gigantee beans to fill the spaces.
How to plant Brussel Sprout plants. I plant 19 Brussels Sprout plants in a new bed where the potatoes were dug up. I plant up strawberries that were dug up from where the new strawberry raised bed is now positioned. I cut off the runners to allow for a longer flowering and fruiting time. I show how you can make new strawberry plants from the runners before cutting it off. In amongst the strawberries I plant the Aquilegia plants that I'd potted on a few weeks ago.
I show you my Sun Baby Tomatoes 🍅 that I had left over. I plant them amongst the raspberries near the grapevine. I plant them in a little compost to give them a good start.
How to save Calendula flower seeds is easy to do and I show you the best time to collect them.
