The best part about Peacock: If you don't like how Elusive Targets aren't freely replayable in the main game then you'll be delighted to know that you can do so with Peacock. Even more is that you can actually save in them too.

One of the main reasons why Hitman despite having exposure to new players and a decent amount of active players is still pretty niche, people want to pick up and play the game without connecting and saving bs, Im used to it as an active player and a fan, but not many will care for so long. Imagine some people revisiting this game in 10 years without servers, it's bare bones, 6 missions and that's it, but I feel that they have realised how niche the game is so that they wouldn't risk any pirating, and sell more they decided to reduce the pirating by making it always online. I know that the overall trilogy offers more but there is still a lot of content missing without servers.
Most people pirating the game would have never bought the game even if it was impossible to pirate it. There's no money to be lost when the customer is literally never going to pay no matter what. No sales lost, no money lost. I'm not speaking for everyone who pirates but only one in a thousand people who pirate games will say they'd buy hitman if it wasn't possible to pirate it
Just in time. Hitman is my favorite game as well but I took a huge break since freelancer came out. Nobody's going to bother reading me here other than you so it's fine to let you know here that I'm also a programmer and I used to work on a new gamemode for Hitman. Only Yannini knows about it. It was going to be a cardgame, running on a separate website, and you claimed cards by killing targets ingame. It also supported multiplayer and was designed for rivals events in mind. The issue was that you had to manually input your kills every time you did them, so it wasn't good enough for me and I abandoned it before the final touches. But recently I feel more and more like I want to get back to Hitman, and I realised that the Peacock project would allow me to hook the kills to my external game, so it would automatically react to ingame events. Do you feel like the community is still as big as it was like 2 years ago for this to be worth it, or did it decay since I was last involved?

Quick question regarding Peacock. So, there's an option that allows you to unlock all items, unlock all mission achievements, and complete mission mastery for all maps, but is there an option to only unlock very specific items or missions achievements, or have some missions be at a specific mastery. For example, lets say I want to have Mumbai at 13 Mission Mastery, with XYZ achievements unlocked and XYZ achievements still locked. Or have my inventory only have XYZ items unlocked and everything else still needing to be earned? Or have my account be at a specific level? Just wondering because up until now I've been playing WOA on Epic Games Store, but recently got access to WOA on Steam via Family Sharing and I wanna play via Steam as I have the entire game there whereas on EGS I only have the Hitman 1 and 2 content. Of course, I can't transfer my EGS account to Steam due to the dumb account transfer rules IOI has set up, so if I could have specific items unlocked, specific map achievements unlocked, and have specific maps be at specific masteries, then it'd be essentially having my EGS account transferred, by of course copying and pasting all the stuff I have on one account and unlocking them via Peacock, so that I can still have the fun of unlocking new items and improving mission mastery for the items I haven't unlocked and the missions I haven't mastered yet (primarily Hitman 3's missions as I haven't touched them yet). If being able to unlock specific items and achievements is not possible however, that's fine. I understand. I'll likely still just use Peacock on Steam anyways. Just kinda sucks, you know?
Do anyone know how to fix this error that appeared while the progress transferring? "Failed to perform transfer. Failed to sync official data: got 500 Internal Server Error."
As a game developer I wonder how they managed to reverse engineer the backend for this game. I guess they may have just writen all the code from scratch and basically just recreate all the endpoints. Either way quite an amazing feat. I wonder why IOI doesn't just create an offline mode. I guess all the user data and analytics is what they're really after. As otherwise I feel like the servers would just be a money drain that isn't really needed.
i just want to make sure that if i turn on hitman without turning on peacock then no features from peacock (like 100 mastery in freelancer) will be enabled and i can play with my old progression normally and with all unlockables and stuff when i turn peacock on?

"get access" But the server and the patcher are up and running. i still see that the server is "unlocking" everything but the game itself says i have nothing. not even the first mission in paris. when i set ingame to offline mode i can play everything as normal

i had an update for hitman 3 and i downloaded the latest peacock then i wanted to copy my user data and contracts to the new one but there was nothing on the old peacock there was no contracts or user data edit:guys nvm i found it i was stupid i didnt read the file
Some people just wanna mess around. In my case I used it because I already unlocked everything on PlayStation before and I was not gonna grind all that again when I switched to PC

we can just hope IOI adds a proper offline mode eventually because while PC players can move to peacock, console players cant

Peacock can Progress Transfer from Steam, but it cannot Progress Transfer to Steam. Is that right?
