The Smart Lock differential has a 4x4 limited slip and a 4x4 full lock. Does this eliminate the limited slip?

Yes, the TORQ Locker is not a limited slip, but it does allow for wheel speed differentiation and it does this by ratcheting. 2WD the locker does not lock, it free spins as needed.

How does this effect steering ? Not to bad just driving around in 4x4 till you start to spin basically ? I blew the spiders in my smart lock looking at this to upgrade it and make alittle tougher

@wadewhite2381 in 2wd the locker doesn't lock and steering will feel normal. In 4wd the locker increases the turning radius slightly, and makes the steering slightly harder. The TORQ Locker is a great upgrade, stronger than stock spider gears, it's predictable and reliable too.
