Very good point about goku surpassing superman wouldn't really be good for him, it kinda defeats the purpose of Gokus character which is to break through his limits regardless of how strong he was. I wouldn't want a Goku who never loses either as its just not fun
Yeah I had to accept it too, I like Superman alot but his feats and versions are ridiculous and not in a cool way and the fact all them cannon now is lame af he’s just too OP to the point I see why ppl say he’s boring which I used to get upset about but I see it now..
Fun fact this db animation was reused from SpongeBob vs aqua man there’s a lot of scenes they re-edited that are similar, Example aqua man’s water blast is gokus kamehameha and spongebobs blit is Superman’s blitz Kinda funny and strange how they know SpongeBob is the goat of death battle but they say jokingly finally someone who can beat goku even though there biased as hell towards him they know his capabilities but don’t wanna do the scaling math for him because the numbers are to high.
As a Superman super fan of over 40 years, I can say that they did not do Superman justice. Superman has stated that he cannot move at light speed within the atmosphere or he would destroy the planet. Superman has shattered planets with the shockwaves off his punches while fighting Zod. If Supes threw a full force punch at Goku, to do him justice, the atmosphere should have exploded. Superman did not phase through any of Goku's attacks and he didn't even use the Infinite Mass Punch. Superman's feats are so much greater than what Wiz and Boomstick even said. The Anti-Monitor had destroyed and absorbed nearly every universe in the Pre-Crisis INFINITE Multiverse and THAT'S what he hit Golden Age Superman with. Golden Age and Post-Crisis went toe to toe exchanging punches that altered reality around them and Post-Crisis has only gotten stronger since merging with New52 and then Rebirth and Infinite Frontier. All that being said, the outcome was satisfactory and Supes giving Goku his props for almost beating him is standard Superman response when he outclasses someone so much. My biggest gripe with the Death Battle Supes is that in every one of them, he's drawn thinner and narrower than Goku. Supes is a big guy and Goku is not. Supes next to Goku should look like Tien or Piccolo next to Goku, at least 6 inches taller and broader of shoulder. Goku is prime Jackie Chan next to Dolph Lundgren from Rocky IV. Or, if we want to add some bulk to Goku, Bolo Yeung.
Damn I'm sorry about that man, I know superman is really tough to scale and do research on with all the shows and comics on him that go decades before a lot of us were even born. I'm glad you were satisfied at least but yeah man with this kind of superman they used Goku wasn't really as close to him as they made him be. Also I think they used something similar to Supermans Fortnite model LMAO
1st form frieza with no effort blowing, caused a tornado. I'm sure with where they're at now, with no ki control, they can blow(sneeze) away galaxies too. That's the only thing I wanted to say tho haha Superman is much stronger.
Didn't Roshi create the move? Copying a move you've seen is completely different from inventing one. I'm not saying what Goku did isn't impressive, but everyone knows kamehameha because they've seen it. I think even Trunks can do a kamehameha.
@smugdarkly I think its moreso that from vegeta onwards to goku and their children they were just kinda natural born battle smarts, saiyans are born to fight so I don't think them being able to learn techniques by watching isn't just some ass pull. Though trunks probably could if he tried yet he is still son of vegeta
@@smugdarkly Definitely just the fact that pretty much everyone in dragon ball is some type of prodigy. Roshi said it would take 50 years to learn it, but he learnt it immediately while inventing new forms of it overtime during combat with no prior planning whatsoever and superman isnt inventing any type of surgery so he should be good on that front because all he did was read up on a bunch of surgical info and within 10 minutes figured it all out. Due to the fact that we dont see any "normal" person doing a kamehameha in dragon ball it means that its very difficult to learn. At any rate it does mean that Goku learns faster, but it doesnt really have much relevancy to the fight considering superman is millions of times more powerful with not only the feats they gave him in the episode, but also the db frat they brought up.
0:38 that was actually because Mr. Mxyzptlk put some weird 5th dimensional powder in Superman's nose, people need to actually read the comcis before just jumping to conclusions, and also, Superman has literally thousands upon thousands of appearances, it's actually impossible to scale a "consistent" Superman. (I'm still the boat of Superman winning)
The same powder was used on other characters and they did not replicate the same insane sneezing feat that Superman did. Its still consistent with his other insane feats like towing planets and fighting the Anti-Monitor.
DC writer snorts line of coke: "F it... lets give the most powerful version of Superman a Green Lantern ring" Coked up DC exec: "Son of a b*tch.... I'm in". The top power levels and Superman writing in the DC universe seem drug influenced.
Jump force goku wouldn't win either. Superman is just too overpowered i wish people would just realise just because you prefer a character doesn't mean they win
I agree, I don't think "well my character beats your character in a fight therefore mines better" is a good argument in any case. A characters greatness should be determined by how they make you feel and influence you emotionally or even physically. It's subjective in the end but getting upset over this kinda thing is wack.
@@PhenomenalSire once again u can't be a true DBZ fan..You a superman lover i get it. A chameleon. You don't even remember feats. How can u give any sort of fair analysis. 🤦🏻 Man I done with this thread.
That all depends on the version of Superman they use. Obviously the strongest version of Superman would beat the strongest version of Goku, I don't question that, but I just wish they would do their research for Goku and stop pulling Superman from multiple DIFFERENT comics. I know they do a composite character for their fights, but the range of power for Superman can go from mountain level to omniversal level.
@lilikaramirez1848 look at my channel for 10 seconds, I literally only do dragon ball content and have never done any DC/Superman content. I'm a dragon ball fan that can accept that goku doesn't win every fight, They obviously missed stuff for Goku that didn't put him at his ACTUAL best sure, but that doesn't take away from the video and effort itself being great. I'm not calling you crazy or any names, I'm just tryna say I'm glad with what we got regardless of outcome.
This is for Goku fans, make Goku battle someone he is relative to in strength. Superman fans won't put him (Superman) up against SCP-3815, Cn Scarlet King etc because he would get one shot. Stop putting Goku against Supes.
I love you so much and I would like to share this with you. The condemnation is this that everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. But this is the gospel which means the good news. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. And the only way to be saved is to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. Believe that he died and was raised on the third day by God the father. Ask him to receive the holy Spirit. Repent from your sins (which means turn away). And be baptized in the name of the father son and the Holy Spirit. God bless you and have a good day. 🙏 John 3:16
Speak for yourself i was pissed he didnt win...he didnt even use all his forms. So no i disagree with your opinion. He literally started in Super Saiyan skipped 2 3 4 and God went to blue and Ultra instinct...like wtf...Sure silver age is stronger but they didnt do Goku justice until UI.
I mean...why would he use all those forms? Blue and UI are his most powerful forms, and SS is already a good enough form as is. Doesn't help they're seemingly using the DBFZ models for this, which only really has Base, SS, Blue, and UI as forms for Super Goku. Also, Super Goku doesn't have SS4, not like it would matter since it's weaker than UI.

Very good point about goku surpassing superman wouldn't really be good for him, it kinda defeats the purpose of Gokus character which is to break through his limits regardless of how strong he was. I wouldn't want a Goku who never loses either as its just not fun
Yeah I had to accept it too, I like Superman alot but his feats and versions are ridiculous and not in a cool way and the fact all them cannon now is lame af he’s just too OP to the point I see why ppl say he’s boring which I used to get upset about but I see it now..
seriously them making all supermans canon and into one entity is the corniest thing they could've done like that's just ridiculous at that point
I don't care anymore about this fight, the truest winners were the animators
No way we'll ever see something so comically dumb in a db story ever again unless someone like arale does some off the wall bs
Tbf for the 10 years of medical experience Goku had a better feat for that where he learned the kamehameha which takes 50 years to learn in one try.
Valid point
Wait a second, that's actually really good!
Goku needs to be uncannon like fusion god goku or xeno goku
My childhood Superman
0:38 that was actually because Mr. Mxyzptlk put some weird 5th dimensional powder in Superman's nose, people need to actually read the comcis before just jumping to conclusions, and also, Superman has literally thousands upon thousands of appearances, it's actually impossible to scale a "consistent" Superman. (I'm still the boat of Superman winning)
The same powder was used on other characters and they did not replicate the same insane sneezing feat that Superman did. Its still consistent with his other insane feats like towing planets and fighting the Anti-Monitor.
DC writer snorts line of coke: "F it... lets give the most powerful version of Superman a Green Lantern ring"
Coked up DC exec: "Son of a b*tch.... I'm in".
The top power levels and Superman writing in the DC universe seem drug influenced.
Superman over 8,000 years old battle Universal demons 😅 he is only a God who can power up with multiple sun at this point you might call him Jehovah🤣
@@Charely1925the superman they use isn't composited since he's technically canon as they all merged.
This is for Goku fans, make Goku battle someone he is relative to in strength. Superman fans won't put him (Superman) up against SCP-3815, Cn Scarlet King etc because he would get one shot. Stop putting Goku against Supes.
Scarlet king is the equivalent of the Darkness from Dc which is intresjng how Db didn't talk about those feats
Cosmic armor and milkman slap scp verse which is overhyped and unwelcome in the scaling community.
@@preds43 he would use them because he's Goku. Against stronger opponents he doesn't go all out right away he's an actual warrior. You don't even get it. They didn't even get the lore right. Listen I don't expect anyone esp Superman fans to understand. So I'm not going to debate this.
@@lilikaramirez1848wow you are bad at arguments, the reason he went straight to blue was because goku was the real deal, he wasn’t gonna waste his energy with useless transformations, besides he does the same thing in super as he dosent use ssjgod up until the ToP at least in the anime
@@lilikaramirez1848ah yes, he would do this just because “he’s goku” what a riveting and substantial argument
In the membership QNA, they said they dont have the models for each form, that would be wayyy too damn high of a budget, plus why would it matter anyway, its not like a weaker form can change the outcome if his strongest didn't
Also he already used ALL his forms on the last 2 goku vs superman deathbattles, he knows how strong superman is already, so it's pointless
How can someone even fit all of them in a 3-4 minute fight anyway what
