    Fascinating. I have some Kuzma gear that brings me pleasure. I visited Slovenia from Western Canada in May 2023, and loved it. Next time, I hope to arrange to visit Kuzma facilities and pay homage. An amazing story, Kuzma. 😊

    The system first then the room. Mind you both are never ending.

    • @Audiofreak71
      @Audiofreak71 Рік тому +2

      Negative, I have to disagree here because if the room isn’t right the system will never sound right. It’s one of the main reasons audiophiles chase their tails because they throw money at their system thinking it will make it better but yet there is always something off and 9 times out of 10 it’s because they neglected the room.

    • @Totalplonker
      @Totalplonker Рік тому

      @@Audiofreak71yeah maybe room first then system but that's normally for those who knows exactly what ones doing! When one's a beginner (like myself) one needs something to work from. Even though I have Dirac for this very reason, without a system I wouldn't realise just how important good room acoustics really are.

    • @Audiofreak71
      @Audiofreak71 Рік тому

      @@Totalplonker That makes sense, but it doesn’t take spending a lot of money to get a room acoustically setup for a system. I use Dirac live as well as REW in my system as well along with a completely acoustically treated room and the combination works perfectly for me.

    Scandinavians are among the best in the world no doubt, in both recording and acoustics.
    As an audio enthusiast for 30+ yrs, the room is the most difficult part to get right as each one is unique.
    Getting it even half right can pay enormous dividends to the sound that can transform your system multiple times it's worth.
    Some are averse to active treatment. I'm open minded. Hybrid passive and active room treatment is fine. Is natural musical sound possible with active treatment? For me, yes. Ultimately, its results that matter.

    I'm oddly surprized by the rather (by strict audiophile standards) poor choice of the Legacies. I think the only advantage of these speakers is effortlessness and a big sound. But, mediocrities in any other aspect. Rather an old school of Hi-Fi, with some glorious moments in the past, when a big sound was really a lot to have. A lot of bang for the buck, for sure.
