    Beautiful, just beautiful. This is so well done with so much love for the details, i love it. Youre craftsmanship is really an inspiration for me. I watched youre videos on youre speakers and i saw myself there. Im so in love with wilson audio speakers but they are not anywhere in reach for me, so i want something like that by my own. Then i found youre video with pure luck and felt in love with youre selfmade high end speakers. Thanks for the inspiration and this beautiful video. I would defenitely take an selfmade room like this above anything else thats just bought. Also the music is just so beautiful and well chosen. I wish you and youre family nice christmas days and a wonderfull time in youre listening room. Im happy if you keep this channel updated. With best regards, Max.

    Great Job. Ive been doing my room for a few years now. I ended up doing my whole front and back wall with 2 ft deep Rockwool, Side walls with 200mm panels 1st 2nd 3rd reflection and ceiling. I originally had 50mm then modified them to 100mm then 200mm. I have some diffusion but need to make some Quadratic Diffusers like yours. Im not quite a craftsman like yourself so have had to adapt some of panels. Some are just giant blocks I made 4ft x 4ft x 2ft that will be hidden. I really enjoyed your video and has given me more inspiration especially seeing your Diffusers. Great Stuff

      @@noamgellerdiy Let me know what you think. I own two amps both OTLs, one a Class AB design the T-16, no longer sold, and an older version of the Minibeast, SET OTL with 3, EL 509's a channel. The newer version has 2, EL 509's with less power but passes square waves at 10 KHz. There is a 300B OTL that people on the, "Forum", claim is the best amp they've ever heard. I also own the Masterpiece pre and slowly building the Slider for its phono stage. This was really a cool thing to watch. The craftsmanship was quite stunning. Did you do a testing of the room acoustics before and after your work. How did you decide where to put the absorption and the diffuser panels, was it done based upon your inner intuition. Curious how things worked out how does it sound?

    • @noamgellerdiy
      @noamgellerdiy  9 місяців тому

      Hey , first of all thanks for your comment.
      I haven't used any mesuring aquipment , only common sense and information I retrieve from books on acoustics and youtube Videos, there is ton of information about yet no ready made solution that will work for all rooms. It is a lot of trial and error. I just tried to deal with the obvious issues. In the mean while I see it as much more important subject than choosing the next speakers or amp, it has obviously the biggest impact on sound quality. So definitely go for it.

      Hey Audio Didact, thanks for your comment 👍😊.
      Budget is always relativ... I've got this room done for under 5k. I know some people buying loudspeaker cable with that amount.
      Towels are very beneficial as we know from Douglas Adam's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but I am afraid you'll need a loooooooot of towels to treat a room 😀 maybe even 5k worth of towels 😅

    • @TheRealAudioDidact
      @TheRealAudioDidact Рік тому

      @@noamgellerdiy $5k is way under what I expected. But your craftsmanship in this case is worth...$20k? $50k? It's very hard to quantify. It could be way more. So your results are VERY premium I think. I've been treating for some years now, and some people think I'm crazy, but your treatment is next level! It must be good but maybe we need a ladder to get to that point.
