    My boyfriend just got in a car accident a few minutes ago and I am home. He is okay but I am worried about him. I was looking for a distraction and this was the first thing that popped up on my subscription page. Thank you so much for making this video.

      Lavendaire thank you. Everything is alright. Accidents are scary and stressful. Your video helped me and my boyfriend too. He was upset because his car is wrecked. I told him what you said that "things are things and they are only here for us to use." He feels a lot better about the situation now. Thank you again

    Something that I find myself having a hard time with is going back to crisis mode. Specifically, I have been having crisis like this but over losing an important person to me, basically no longer being friends with someone, and then I tell myself that I was okay before I met them, and that I will be okay if they are no longer a part of my life, so then I calm down a bit after telling myself that, but then there are little triggers that make me focus on the pain, so I find it frustrating. Yeah, detaching does help though. Great stuff. You have inspired me to take a new and improved spin on my channel :D

    • @lavendaire
      @lavendaire  9 років тому +2

      ProductionSandoval it's not easy to detach, especially with people. it helps to understand that people are meant to come in and out of your life; each encounter is meant to teach you a lesson in some way. there are no promises that someone will be there forever, so appreciate the moments you do share together! :) good luck with everything!

      ProductionSandoval i understand what you are saying. I saw a really great inteeview with oprah and dr phil. About trusting yourself..if you build your ability to trust yourself ..you will beable to trust yourself to right the wrongs for you. Also allow yourself to build trust in a relationship before diving in too fast. If someone doesnt get this. You will be falling into samepatterns..take time...often reflection reveals truths. And lots of people eg..a slick sales person might depend on pressure decision..this is a flag..sending you love and success for your way. Liah

    This video helped me a lot. Earlier I'm having panic attacks and everything felt wrong; and I was blaming myself because I'm such a failure. But hey, It's just a job you can get a new one, It's only a false move you can finish your requirements, It's just a failed subject; not a failed life. Even if you felt like it's the end of your world. It's not. Thank you.

    I'm currently in my quarter life crisis where everything is seems so chaotic and can't figure out things that are happening to me right know. Good thing I came across to your video and surely I can tell that your story and all the advice are a big help for me.. it's hard to take advices from the people who doesn't know exactly how the situation feels but there will be someone will make you realize that life really must go on and you shouldn't dwell on the things in the past that you can't redo. So thank you so much for this video. I hope you can inspire more and more people like me. ❤️

    This video came at such the right time for me... I was feeling so desolated and thinking of ending it all and then you came, and showed me the bigger picture. My life won't end. Even if i have lost the thing I wanted the most, I can always dream it back.

    In Europe, I wasn't able to book a hostel in Amsterdam (it was so expensive that I thought the sites were glitched) so I decided I'd go straight to the hostel to book it in person when I arrived. Turns out it wasn't glitched. It was going to cost 2 of us 360 euros for 3 nights. It was the last stop in our trip and we were already over our budget. I ended up booking another hotel on my phone that was further from the city centre but affordable. Got the confirmation email. Took a taxi even though we barely had any cash left (bc there was a huge thunderstorm). When we got there, they had been overbooked and said it was a 'system error.' At this point I was freaking out, stressed and overwhelmed. This was at 10pm ish and I couldn't help it but I just started crying in the lobby, thinking I'd have to sleep in the streets! I wish I had been able to step back & look at the big picture as you have. In the end, the receptionist found us a hotel about 45 mins from the city centre but in a sense, I was kind of thankful for everything that happened to lead us to that hotel because it was the best hotel I've ever stayed in! & I strongly believe everything happens for a reason :) Thank you for all your videos!

    I had my house broken into last year. They stole my television, my laptop with over 10 years of photos that weren't anywhere else (I don't have internet at home, and I stupidly never backed them up on the internet), my digital cameras, my thumb drives, my jewelry which included my grandmother's diamond from her engagement ring turned into a necklace, money. While losing them all hurt, its the photographs and the heirloom that hurt to the core. It took me a while to come to terms with them being gone, but now I don't have much of an attachment to any of my material things, and it has been a freeing experience as time has gone on!

    This may seem like nothing or not much to people but during the Spring semester that just passed, I actually lost all of my files/data on my flash drive. That flash drive held all of my college files since day one, my updated resume, and a couple personal things like pictures & music.
    Back in class, the computers would sometimes act up so the students would have to save what we did every 2-5 mins or even every 10 mins. One day during a lesson, my computer actually froze so I actually freaked out a little and pulled out my usb & ctrl, alt, del out of the computer. However, when I went back into my account on the computer and put my usb back in, it had ask if I wanted to format the usb. I didn't want to believe what was happening so I kept putting the usb in and out but the same response "Would you like to format your usb" kept reappearing. From there, I gave up & was disappointed in myself.
    The files I had on the usb helped guide myself throughout that class and I had the best resume there also. It really hurt but I later realized and convinced myself that I can remake my resume from scratch. I luckily had some previous resumes I had printed out for a job I applied for last year. For the class, I bombed it so hard but next time I'll try harder and I'll go find help too.
    In a way, i felt like it was fresh start for me. It may be hard but I got this. God allowed this to happen for a reason. I can only grow and learn from this hardship. People may say this is nothing but everybody has their battles or difficulties they go through in life. Anyway, thanks Lavendaire for sharing your story. I'm glad I was able to share mine. Much thanks ✌.

      Bouratha You That's not nothing; that's tough! I had that fear of losing all my files and work as well -- I'm glad that you stayed positive and worked through it. Now you're stronger and wiser :)

    In college I dropped my travel drive under a footbridge and into grass WOW thankfully I went back right away and found it and then I left my calculator in class and was out of the building and had to run back in. Both small in terms of panic but still...

    I've never try to think about what's next in a situation of crisis. I think it's great advice because it make you understand that the crisis is "survivable"...

    So, in other words, don't let your possessions possess you. Never heard that one before? What about this: "I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left." That's one of my favourite things to think and say. Anyway, why are there no Oh Wonder songs on your Spotify playlist?! I'm in a state of shock (does Texas still use "the chair"?) I may need counselling. Just as I was getting over Zayn leaving One -Dimension- Direction. (o;
