Thank you, you inspired me to create my own morning listening list. Every time I start and stop because I am accustomed to the Internet, then when I open to listen, I continue from this to that and time passes 😅❤
I recently started leaving a small notebook on my nightstand, in the spot my phone used to be. Now, the first thing I do after waking up is writing a page of things I am grateful for. This has entirely replaced my habit of scrolling social media first thing in the morning, and starts my day off in a much better way!

My personal tips: 1) Turn on the digital wellbeing widget on your phone that puts your daily screen time on your home screen. 2) Start watching more UA-cam videos. It makes you used to consuming something a bit longer. 3) Don't take your phone in the bathroom, whether for a shower or for anything else. 4) Don't use your phone while you eat. 5) Start doing "no-screen" time blocks in the day, grab a drink and stare out the window without using your phone. 6) Get into a relatively easy, creative, hands on hobby that takes up your time besides scrolling. E.g. crocheting, coding, origami, reading. 7) No phone during hangouts with friends or dates! Even if your friend is on their phone, let them be and look around. Don't feel awkward, let them finish their thing and get back to you. Don't use your phone, just wait a bit. 8)
Perfect timing, Aileen! I've been scrolling a lot recently, several hours, and my life seemed to collapse. I didn't deal with my tasks, I didn't want to do anything, like I've lost all my motivation, and I just wanted to lay on the bed to scroll and scroll... This video helped with my awareness and the tips are great! Thank you!
Same for me i am exhausted and finding post of motivations on social media thinking it can help me on my anxiety and not even realize I lost my focus on important things and make me feel depress even more😢
Firstly, I have to confess that I was so afraid to watch this video, knowing that I have social media addiction, I didn't want to face the reality and I was just living in a dreamy bubble. Finally, today I got the courage to dig deep into me. Sending you love too, Aileen.❤
@@wenjay6225 yeah you can. just delete all of them. except like youtube and whatsapp. there are a lot of people i know that never had socials and are doing fine so we can all do the same too, you shouldn't be so pessimistic or you can't get anywhere
A lot of times, social media is used to find social connection. People scroll a lot, but maybe they're hoping to interact with someone or some people. If people build their relationships offline, they'd probably spend less time scrolling. Dinner, coffee, walks, just hanging out offline. If we make time for regular, fulfilling interactions with people who we want to be around, we'd probably find that social media isn't needed as much.
Thank you for this. I no longer use most social media. I have come to the conclusion that “if it doesn’t make me money, I don’t need to use it daily.” The only app I use daily now is UA-cam. And with YT, I am learning new things daily. I have uninstalled my other apps. They are not necessary for me to stay alive. I am a happier person.
Another thing is swapping that time for a hobby that you can take with you. For example, reading a book, knitting, hand sewing, drawing, etc. Funnily enough, I wasn't allowed to have social media when I was a kid. Everyone i knew had Myspace and Facebook, but my mother always said no. Instead, I spent that time working on my hobbies instead. The more activities that you participate in, the less time you have to be on social media. I have since fallen off that wagon and I'm trying to get back on. This video was the perfect boost! I deleted Twitter, TikTok and Snapchat because it wasn’t something I needed. Although I have Instagram. I have set a limit for 1 hour and even if I go past that I’m intentional to use it less. A part of me wants to not have Instagram but it is also useful for staying informed of different events in college. I have noticed I also spend a lot of time on UA-cam because I love watching my favorite UA-camrs and sometimes limiting my UA-cam time is the most challenging
Over breakfast and coffee is the worst time. I spend way to long on social media when I want to do something else. Having a hard time with this, its robing me of my life!!
I have time limits on some social media apps but would always click “ignore” when the limit popped up. Now, my partner set the time limit code so it’s removed the option to ignore for me. It’s really helped me be more mindful of my scrolling 👍🏻 great video!

One thing that’s really helped me is adding the Screen Time widget to the page where I keep my social media apps (this may only apply to iPhones, idk if android phones have widgets). When it’s put right in front of me how many hours I’ve spent on my phone, it makes me second guess adding to it 😅

One thing that helped me stop doomscrolling is getting familiar with that yucky feeling (eye strain, slight nausea) so I can stop myself before it’s too late!
The idea of putting on music in the morning instead of scrolling through social media is something I will definitely try out!! I notice that in the morning its hard for me to get out of bed because I just pick up my phone and start scrolling but this might actually work.
I used to scroll instagram at night. I swapped the habit of scrolling with reading. It makes me calm and naturally puts me to sleep and also fulfills my resolution to read more this year. Thanks to Gilmore girls, I picked up the habit of reading before sleeping. This video is great as you talk about deeper issues that result to doom scrolling. Thank you!
Tips to break social media addiction 1. swap out your habit 2. Out of sight, out of mind 3. Set app limit 4. Delete apps that aren't serving you 5. Pinpoint the real issue 6. Cultivate more mindfulness and practice being present
My fear of doing bad on important things has, ironically, led me to procrastinate on putting in my normal work ethic. I'm usually pretty okay with social media usage, but it's hard to know when you actually need a break. Rather than you simply wanting to be done with the task
the leaving your phone far away helps so much in the morning even if its just somewhere thats not your night stand, it helps you really wake up and be more present and sets the tone for the day !
I usually wake up and go straight to my phone to endlessly scroll to wake me up and I love music. So, I think instead of going straight to my phone in the morning I will use the opportunity to play my favourite music, and maybe in my downtime I can even make my own personalized playlist like you did it. When I am stressed from work and I want to take a little break, instead of scrolling through my phone and loosing track of time, depending on the weather I will go outside and sit and focus on the weather and the nature, it is spring right now, so if I want to take a break I should use this time to bask in good weather. On the other hand, if its not good weather, I'm thinking of reading some of my books, because I have so many favourite books and so many books I haven't even read because my time on social media. I really like this video because its very positive and you showed me other ways i can avoid social media. I am subscribing, right now. :)
This was great I’ve been wasting hours on social media getting nothing done. You’ve given me the push I needed to delete the apps and stop scrolling thank you x
I love the idea of using our five senses because I never really think about that. I only think of what I see. This is a really nice idea and very impactful in life. Exactly what I needed in the over developed year 2023, thank you ♡
I deleted my tiktok and Facebook because I felt it was making me depressed and comparing myself to others. I’m glad I made that choice of deleting it now I’m becoming happy again
I've been scrolling several days recently, and it made me really disappointed and overwhelmed. this video is relatable to what I'm struggling now. thank you!
Thank for these tips. Recently I've been noticing how much time I've been wasting doom scrolling. These will help me to focus more on my hobbies such as chess, language learning, and art
I am grateful more and more people are uninstalling apps including UA-cam if you have to because of the "Shorts" that came out that are basically tick tock and just make YT more unhealthy. Thank you for addressing it.
I usually spend time scrolling social media. I usually do that in the morning after school. Not only that, I also use apps while studying. It's a real waste of my time. So when I watch your video, I'm really happy. I stop scrolling and watch your video carefully to find a solution for myself. I think I need to put my phone in a drawer because as you said "out of sight, out of mind". Okay, be realistic. Set app limits. I also learned something really important is to delete apps that don't serve me. For all, I will live in the real life intead of using the phone. Thank you your video! It really inspire to me to become better.
Wrong. Totally misunderstood. Wasting means to invest something over sth which will not bring any benefit, but a harm. Wasting time is spending time over sth which is not necessarily needed. If this becomes addictive habit, seeking knowledge to remove it and share it with others is very good investment in terms of time. It is not wasting at all. It is gaining
4:40 _ What I personally like to go for when swapping habits of scrolling on social media or even using my phone altogether, I like to: read, pray, make a little snack, sit with my fam, go around the house/move, draw (if I has the energy), color in a coloring book, write, journal, clean/reorganize any area, do makeup for fun... these are what I usually go for; though I still haven't broken the habit at all, but it is much less often for me to fall for it again. And when I do fall back into the cycle, I directly DELETE my socials out of my phone.
Three things helping me to stop doomscrolling: not to be hungry, to have more sleep and sit less. Especially the last one is a key point. When I sit more than 30 minutes, I need to put something into my palms, that's why I took my phone :) I used to put limits for apps and did not work for me. But when your phone is not in a accessible area it also helps
ive been spiraling and been on a slump for a couple months now and ive been trying to break through it. i have been watching other self help videos to try to be productive but i wasn't succeeding. this video though is very insightful and are like tips that GETS me you know. especially, the affirmation part that i can do hard things! i feel like im already a better person. thanks always aileen!!!
( i’ll be writing this down more for me than other people as a personal reminder and how i can help myself ) 1. swap out your habits -- i start doom scrolling when i’m actually bored. thankfully i no longer have the bad habit of procrastinating (that’s when i USED to doom scroll the most). however, now that i don’t procrastinate i’m not sure what i can do with my time. before i was so used to being so busy and burnt out by doing all my work last minute that i don’t know what to do with myself when i *actually* do have free time. i don’t have any hobbies and yes i know the simple solution is to just, start. however, this feeling is just too new. i don’t even know how to react. having time by myself feel so… strange. like i don’t deserve having a free time. a form of self-sabotage, a stagnant but comfortable space i have created for myself. yes, i need to break it if i want to change and be a better version of myself but old habits die hard, and i don’t quite feel like being a “brand new” me. however, blasting music does not sound like a bad idea. it’s a good start when i literally don’t have anything else to do. 2. out of sight, out of mind -- to focus being in the present. 3. set app limits + downtime -- i did not know our phone had this feature. it’s good to know to have a notif telling us how much time we have spent on our phone. it’ll force you to be aware that you have scrolled for [this] long already. 4. delete apps that are not serving you. -- most of my apps are serving me well. youtube and instagram has form of self care and reminders of mental health and how we can do better. my apps doesn’t necessarily deteriorate my mental health. it’s just the amount of time i am consuming is. 5. pinpoint the real issue -- shadow work. 6. cultivate more mindfulness and practice being present -- not being autopilot. snapping out it by meditating, using your five senses. practice enjoying the “now.”
This is so crazy...this morning I uninstalled Instagram because I kept reading negative comments and people's opinions and some of them wound me up but I can't stop! this video is a god send thank you!!!!
i barely use social media but i think one of the most important things is that you need to find something else to do with your time otherwise you just feel lost, i remember when i deleted social media, i didn’t know what to do so it was just replaced with a webtoon addiction so then, i made a list of things i like to do or things i’d like to do or things that may not be pleasant to do but will benefit me and so in times of boredom, i turn to that list and try something from there i found that what really hurts me is doing the same thing for a long time, i like to switch things up to spice up life
I needed to see this video so badly, what you said about procrastination & running away from doing things that are hard. I feel that wow thank you. This is all great advice. Thanks for helping us evolve. Appreciate you!
This video is from like 2 months ago, but it appeared on my feed. This is so timing for me because I'm battling with social media addiction these days. Thank you so much for this content ❤
As a Muslims, we can't listen for music . So, we replace it with listening to the Qur’an . I really feel comfortable when I listen for Qur’an And meditate What the Creator has made , I think it's really the best thing how can I started my day with 💗💗.
@@ttt-id9oo sorry if my comment let you remember your friend , But the scholars differed in verdict . Some of them said it was forbidden , And he inferred the hadith of the Prophet Mohammed , I am with this majority Everyone has their own conviction , And knowledge is with God 💗💗.
My biggest takeaway from this video is reflecting on our WHYs :) it's way easier to deal with a problem if you know what that problem is. And trying to reframe it ' I can do hard things' - beautiful :)
I also used to immediately go on my phone when I wake up. I have noticed that when I just wake up, I can concentrate really well. I like to take this opportunity to read a book. I like to keep a book on my nightstand. It has helped improve my patience so much. I like to read something light and it gives me a small dopamine boost. It has made me start my days off with a much more positive mindset!
Your videos always come at the perfect time. 💖 I spent three hours last night scrolling when I could have been doing so many other more exciting things!! 🙃
As a english learner, i just want to say that i really like your pronunciation. It was so clear that i could understand nearly all what you say without any subtitle😊
I have been doing most of things you shared. I just walked slowly on front yard, watched sky and stars and enjoyed with light wind. I watched your video at 7pm 😊
The good idea is make a black-white screen in your settings becouse human eye likes a colorfull things and it don't interested dark colors. It's really helping me
I probably should be thankful that my job doesn't allow me to have my phone while on duty. It's definitely helped me cut down a lot of my screen time since before I got the job
i know im 4 months late, but this was so so helpful. im in 7th grade about to enter 8th, and i feel like im wasting my summer. thanks so much for this!
i'm starting to change out my scrolling with reading in the morning, and if i want to take a study break, i'll watch a short youtube video or do a sudoku puzzle (i highly recommend sudoku as a replacement, it's super fun and gives you dopamine when you finish one and get everything right)
Legit my most favorite channel on YT. I’m struggling with this now, no wonder I get more anxious easily nowadays. It also has been shaping my mindset to always turn into instant gratification whenever I’m unconsciously avoiding something :(
First of all thankyou so much for posting this vedio ,im feeling better now ,i was so lost ,lazy and felt like doing nothing . started to overthink about my future .there is a lot of problem going around me and next month im having my 11th board exams which make ne feel so stressed because i haven't started to prepare yet , because of thinga that are going around me ,i always procrastinate but now watching your video helps me out , I've gained a little bit of confidence.thank you.
I needed this tapping session! I am sorry you went through hard times with your parents. It really sucks to be hurt by the people we should be loved the most and should trust. I am glad that you found ways to forgive them, it gives me hope ❤ Thanks a lot for thus video 🥰
I always find myself scrolling phone at lunch after i come back home from school, so I will do the laundry, listen to my favorite songs instead or may be I can do some cardio. Besides that, I regularly surf the Internet whenever I feel like I have time and bored so I can read books 30-40 pages or develop new habits.
I wanna reclaim my love for reading!! It pisses me off that I sacrifice reading for doom scrolling… literally been reading the same small chapter book for a month! And just a moment ago I was reading 600 page chapter books in roughly a week! Any chance I had I’d read, and now I pick up my book like once a week!!!
This is the work I was sharing on my social media account. Sharing the healthy routine I was incorporating in my life on mindfulness then something happen where I stopped doing the good work
Really practical tips. I already use app limits and delete some apps on weekdays. Like Instagram is only in my phone on the weekends. For me, the best tip from this video is swap out habit. Putting on music instead of scrolling after waking up is something I will definitely try from tomorrow. Last week, I reduced my screen time by 30%. Will improve even further. Thanks for these great tips.
For the last 6 months in order to reduce the amount of time I spend on social media...I have been writing my thoughts on a notebook, reading novels and doing workouts more ofttimes. And all these are not only helping me to distract from social media but also to evolve individually.

Log out every time u got out frm that app So when u come back u have to keep on re log in soo it gonna annoy you
I don't scroll on social media 1 - 2 hours after waking up and I still do the same. But recently I scroll through more longer, and i find out the reason that is when i am too tired and sometimes exhausted after completing something really difficult. One thing that helps me go through this bad habit is to have a to-do list of what i want to do during the day, by doing so I know other importance is more worth it.
Yes i feel this. My ADHD is reaching the sky. And i cant pay attention or concentrate very well now. Due to this i failed my university entrance exam too. To be honest, I have been disciplining myself for 1 month without scrolling the smartphone every morning. I really feel happy with the result. I can feel my meaningful life. My life is absolutely beautiful ❤️
For me, disconnecting from digital world when replace scrolling to crocheting or playing an instrument, Kalimba. I also do organize my place to keep myself occupied. I also set up downtime in my fone. I also agree on unstalling apps to keep myself from the feeling of FOMO. One thing that I haven't done or even find more effective is to "Pinpoint why I'm scrolling" When I ask that question to myself, I got so many answers from myself. I'll also try the 5 senses,
I've been trying to get into more self care lately, so maybe I will switch scolling in the morning for like a nice morning burst face mask or something to wake up and feel refreshed 💜
I'm very stressed, I use tiktok almost 4 hours a day. Suddenly your video show up on my feed, you're my motivation to improve my habits. Thank you so much!
These are such helpful tips! 😊❤ Especially when most social media platforms are starting to have the fyp feature that tiktok has, and then you get addicted to endless scrolling on the fyp
I just deleted all my social media. Well, I am chilling on YT but not endlessly scrolling through Insta and Facebook. Also I am tired of all the notifications atm. I have some healing to do and I need to take a break.

I uninstalled TikTok because of the way it was effecting my mental health. I realized I kept going to other apps (Facebook, Instagram) to try and scroll the way I would on TikTok. It shows the way your brain gets wired. I think taking a moment to do some breathing would help or turning my phone off during studying.

Thank you!
Tips to break social media addiction
1. swap out your habit
2. Out of sight, out of mind
3. Set app limit
4. Delete apps that aren't serving you
5. Pinpoint the real issue
That's my biggest challenge. On my days off I find myself on my bed or couch just glued and not doing anything. I needed this video
the leaving your phone far away helps so much in the morning even if its just somewhere thats not your night stand, it helps you really wake up and be more present and sets the tone for the day !
Yes i also deleted instagram. Now i have more time to listen to myself, talk to myself, and i actually became pretty productive :))
@@saruulodkhuu8328 same!
Also, I would suggest removing the app off your phone. This helped me a lot
Fun Fact : your are wasting your time watching how to not waste your time
Why did you click on this video then? o_O

@@dilshodbekshuhratjonov6253 Well said ❤😊
So ig you are too cause you are watching it 😂
4:40 _ What I personally like to go for when swapping habits of scrolling on social media or even using my phone altogether, I like to: read, pray, make a little snack, sit with my fam, go around the house/move, draw (if I has the energy), color in a coloring book, write, journal, clean/reorganize any area, do makeup for fun... these are what I usually go for; though I still haven't broken the habit at all, but it is much less often for me to fall for it again. And when I do fall back into the cycle, I directly DELETE my socials out of my phone.
Journaling! I love journaling and it really helped me.
True facts . We really spend more time on social media. Currently it's controlling our life
swap your habit
out of sight out of mind
app limit
delete apps that are not serving you
pinpoint the issue
cultivate mindfulness and be present
ive been spiraling and been on a slump for a couple months now and ive been trying to break through it. i have been watching other self help videos to try to be productive but i wasn't succeeding. this video though is very insightful and are like tips that GETS me you know. especially, the affirmation part that i can do hard things! i feel like im already a better person. thanks always aileen!!!
( i’ll be writing this down more for me than other people as a personal reminder and how i can help myself )
1. swap out your habits
-- i start doom scrolling when i’m actually bored. thankfully i no longer have the bad habit of procrastinating (that’s when i USED to doom scroll the most). however, now that i don’t procrastinate i’m not sure what i can do with my time. before i was so used to being so busy and burnt out by doing all my work last minute that i don’t know what to do with myself when i *actually* do have free time. i don’t have any hobbies and yes i know the simple solution is to just, start. however, this feeling is just too new. i don’t even know how to react. having time by myself feel so… strange. like i don’t deserve having a free time. a form of self-sabotage, a stagnant but comfortable space i have created for myself. yes, i need to break it if i want to change and be a better version of myself but old habits die hard, and i don’t quite feel like being a “brand new” me.
however, blasting music does not sound like a bad idea. it’s a good start when i literally don’t have anything else to do.
2. out of sight, out of mind
-- to focus being in the present.
3. set app limits + downtime
-- i did not know our phone had this feature. it’s good to know to have a notif telling us how much time we have spent on our phone. it’ll force you to be aware that you have scrolled for [this] long already.
4. delete apps that are not serving you.
-- most of my apps are serving me well. youtube and instagram has form of self care and reminders of mental health and how we can do better. my apps doesn’t necessarily deteriorate my mental health. it’s just the amount of time i am consuming is.
5. pinpoint the real issue
-- shadow work.
6. cultivate more mindfulness and practice being present
-- not being autopilot. snapping out it by meditating, using your five senses. practice enjoying the “now.”
I don't scroll social media, I scroll UA-cam LOL
me too, but that is social media i think, its just in video format
Here too 😀
Fr 😂😅
This is so crazy...this morning I uninstalled Instagram because I kept reading negative comments and people's opinions and some of them wound me up but I can't stop! this video is a god send thank you!!!!
This makes managing your screentime so much more achievable!
i barely use social media but i think one of the most important things is that you need to find something else to do with your time otherwise you just feel lost, i remember when i deleted social media, i didn’t know what to do so it was just replaced with a webtoon addiction
so then, i made a list of things i like to do or things i’d like to do or things that may not be pleasant to do but will benefit me and so in times of boredom, i turn to that list and try something from there
i found that what really hurts me is doing the same thing for a long time, i like to switch things up to spice up life
I needed to see this video so badly, what you said about procrastination & running away from doing things that are hard. I feel that wow thank you. This is all great advice. Thanks for helping us evolve. Appreciate you!
This video is from like 2 months ago, but it appeared on my feed. This is so timing for me because I'm battling with social media addiction these days. Thank you so much for this content ❤
thank you!!
Some of them said it was forbidden , And he inferred the hadith of the Prophet Mohammed , I am with this majority
Everyone has their own conviction , And knowledge is with God 💗💗.
I appreciate this. My New Years Goal was to stop the scrolling.
I got this video by scrolling 😅😂🤣😂
Same here😂
We are so late@@chamathijay123
Me too 🤣
Your videos always come at the perfect time. 💖 I spent three hours last night scrolling when I could have been doing so many other more exciting things!! 🙃
same here! perfect timing thank you💜✨
As a english learner, i just want to say that i really like your pronunciation. It was so clear that i could understand nearly all what you say without any subtitle😊
Aileen you have no idea how much I needed this right now. I think this was a sign!
Same here 😭
I think everyone need to see it. :(
I have been doing most of things you shared. I just walked slowly on front yard, watched sky and stars and enjoyed with light wind. I watched your video at 7pm 😊
i just deleted all of them and my life got much better
The good idea is make a black-white screen in your settings becouse human eye likes a colorfull things and it don't interested dark colors. It's really helping me
1. swap your habit
2. put your phone away
3. set app limits
4. Delete apps you don't need
5. Reflect on why you scroll
6. cultivate mindfulness
Social media is destroying our life if we are not use it Wisley. You have explained it well.❤
I probably should be thankful that my job doesn't allow me to have my phone while on duty. It's definitely helped me cut down a lot of my screen time since before I got the job
i know im 4 months late, but this was so so helpful. im in 7th grade about to enter 8th, and i feel like im wasting my summer. thanks so much for this!
Aileen has helped me a lot. I needed this rn and here it is 😭 now I can finally leave my phone after watching this video :D
01:15 - The tips on letting go of stress are exactly what I needed today. Thank you! 🙏
i'm starting to change out my scrolling with reading in the morning, and if i want to take a study break, i'll watch a short youtube video or do a sudoku puzzle (i highly recommend sudoku as a replacement, it's super fun and gives you dopamine when you finish one and get everything right)
Legit my most favorite channel on YT. I’m struggling with this now, no wonder I get more anxious easily nowadays. It also has been shaping my mindset to always turn into instant gratification whenever I’m unconsciously avoiding something :(
thanks for your support 💖
First of all thankyou so much for posting this vedio ,im feeling better now ,i was so lost ,lazy and felt like doing nothing . started to overthink about my future .there is a lot of problem going around me and next month im having my 11th board exams which make ne feel so stressed because i haven't started to prepare yet , because of thinga that are going around me ,i always procrastinate but now watching your video helps me out , I've gained a little bit of confidence.thank you.
When I feel negativity, I really like to watch your videos because you have a high positive vibe that also makes me positive instantly ❤
I needed this tapping session! I am sorry you went through hard times with your parents. It really sucks to be hurt by the people we should be loved the most and should trust. I am glad that you found ways to forgive them, it gives me hope ❤ Thanks a lot for thus video 🥰
instead of reaching for my phone in the mornings, i'm going to start the day with a brisk walk + music
Yess love it
I always find myself scrolling phone at lunch after i come back home from school, so I will do the laundry, listen to my favorite songs instead or may be I can do some cardio. Besides that, I regularly surf the Internet whenever I feel like I have time and bored so I can read books 30-40 pages or develop new habits.
You came right on time! This has been my dilemma for the past weeks. Thank you for this 💖
Thanks for the video! It feels ironic that I came across this video as I was doom scrolling through UA-cam.
Watching this, I had to pause and comment. This is just exactly what I was telling myself all day 'I can do hard things"😮Very timely!
Sharing the healthy routine I was incorporating in my life on mindfulness then something happen where I stopped doing the good work
I scroll my feed all day and it makes me feel tired very much. I can't stop that and i seem addicted
And all these are not only helping me to distract from social media but also to evolve individually.
this is so good 💜

After I watch this video, immediately I uninstall my fb which made me procrastinate everyday😅 What I love watching vlogs on this channel is that, everytime I watch the video, it's made me motivate and inspired to do good things and to stop doing a bad habits. So thanks a lot I love every content that you made, and I will keep following and updating on your youtube channel, I hope you'll never get tired of creating a positive, motivational, and inspirational content, just continue doing good and keep inspiring others. Xoxo❤❤
Honestly, mediation is key to all my addiction going away.
How do you guys deal with the guilt of making these mistakes? Cuz I’ve been limiting social media, but I still feel so bad for wasting my time. Aileen, can you make a video about guilt? And how to overcome it
And now you are wasting your time thinking, don't beat yourself up for something past, live in the present, and be happy and proud because you left that bad habit.❤
Oh my god lovelies 💖 pls try these tips out , cuz me as a pro procrastinator I changed
1. Delete alll like all the social media app then
2. Switch to site so it's harder to scroll honestly
Or
1. Log out every time u got out frm that app
So when u come back u have to keep on re log in soo it gonna annoy you
I don't scroll on social media 1 - 2 hours after waking up and I still do the same. But recently I scroll through more longer, and i find out the reason that is when i am too tired and sometimes exhausted after completing something really difficult. One thing that helps me go through this bad habit is to have a to-do list of what i want to do during the day, by doing so I know other importance is more worth it.
I can do hard things. So important. Important to notice even the smallest things that set me to distraction.
Yes i feel this. My ADHD is reaching the sky. And i cant pay attention or concentrate very well now. Due to this i failed my university entrance exam too. I had this constant urge to check my phone even though the phone was far away cuz exam. But i had this urge and couldnt focus. 😭😭😭😭 im addicted to instagram. I hope the tips help. Im so worried.
Hope it helps!
trust me your the best ideal i could think of
" Be in real world for a moment "
Well... that hit different in my mind 😂❤
One thing that I haven't done or even find more effective is to "Pinpoint why I'm scrolling"
When I ask that question to myself, I got so many answers from myself.
It's absolutely true.We all are loosing real life.
I just deleted all my social media. Well, I am chilling on YT but not endlessly scrolling through Insta and Facebook. Also I am tired of all the notifications atm. I have some healing to do and I need to take a break.
Feeling guilty about this content. Lately, I find myself being addicted in scrolling my socmed... Thank you for this info 😊
