Just a note. If you can not Solder wiring. You can use some wire nuts, Terminal blocks or even wago connectors to secure your wiring. Even overtime that wire will come lose if you move it around a lot even with heatshrink tubing. Oh sorry I forgot you can also use some Crimp connectors. They new ones out there also have heatshrink tubing on it. Over all Very nice setup.
Great tutorial! Just an FYI… These lights will run fine without the step down. They’re rated for a range from 9-30vdc.
Thanks for that bit of information, now I'm going to light up everything with my Ryobi batteries.
My 18 volt battery's don't make the light bright thought this be the case
Dope man. Thanks I'll hit you up if I run into any snags
Exactly what I needed!
This is awesome, thank you!
I wouldn’t even have known about the sock. Too funny
I still didn't see the sock(s)? lol

I literally have 2 nilight pods and a Ryobi 18v battery 😂 this video is oddly specific to my situation
How long do they stay on
How long did they last on that battery
Great guide!
Don’t need the converter, the light have a operating range of 10v-30v so anything in between will work just the same
I run these directly on 20v. They work great and are much brighter at 20
May i know how long the battery last?
be nice if you left links to the parts to build this.. such as amazon etc.
otherwise great video
will do thanks for the advice
How long will battery run lights
What’s the need for the relay in this?
Would it work without the dc to dc converter. Just using 18v Milwaukee battery?
Yes. 12v is more of a range on these LEDs. Usually good from 9v- 30-36v I believe w no step down
How long will led light run on this set up?
3rd time ... how long will those lights burn on a battery charge ?
4 hours or so
I mean, thanks but a link to the parts would help
