Concerned Ape is insanely generous. This is an 8-year-old game that he was patching (mainly, we thought) to help with 3rd party mods -- which is above and beyond in itself -- but he adds an unexpected ton of improvements for free. Not just glitch fixes but new objects, and he's done new artwork as well: the waterfalls and the iridescent trees in winter nights are magical. The happiest video game, playable for years, for $15, with no microtransactions (even on mobile). How many devs are generous enough to do this? Many thanks Eric
I just recently started playing Stardew for the very first time (I'm on my first winter)! I'm trying to enjoy the game in my own pace and so I don't use guides and stuff like that because I don't wanna stress out, but watching this has given me a lot of tiny useful tips (that are probably obvious for you all) like I didn't know you can get stuff from trashcans, or put a chest in a mine, or put hats on animals (though I think that is new), and I like the tip of having a separate chest for community centre stuff! And also seeing simsie being so excited by the update just made my day, I'm happy you are enjoying it so much!!
I went in blind my first time too. I definitely recommend looking into the wiki at some point because there are so many fun secrets that I definitely wouldn’t have found without it but for now I love that you’re just enjoying the game.

Don't want to give spoilers, but around mid march and summer, occassionally keep a eye on those waterfalls for cool clues and "things" . Lots of new suprises undiscovered by the community yet, in this game. I LIKE YOUR HONEST joy reactions, ma'am. I like the waterfalls too. Also, keep an eye on the trees in the forest in summer. Lots of new forage stuff.
I got a shrimp enthusiast shirt from cutting down a tree while I was watching this video. It was just too perfect 😂😂 Wish I could give it to Lil simsie!!

I play Stardew on my Switch (just most comfortable for me, I tend to listen to long youtube videos like this when I play games and the Switch is great for that) and we're still waiting for the console update. At this point I've been spoiled to most new features in the update, so I figured I'd play along on the 1.5 version while listening to you experience the new update. That said, listening to you read the patch notes, I had no idea just how much new stuff had been added. Concerned Ape is too kind. Side note, I was playing along on my Riverlands Farm when you said you don't like it. asdlkgjsj I DO understand why people aren't fans of it though. I personally like how it looks aesthetically, even if it's not objectively the best farm. I enjoy having "Barn Island" and "Coop Island" and it's more space for the ducks to swim whenever they actually feel like swimming.
If you go to the game options tab in your inventory and you scroll down there should be the option to add zoom buttons they allow you to zoom the game in and out 😊😉
I watched this I was sick at home (while it was live)and this stream cheered me up so much especially it being a 6 hour stream kept me entertained all day 🫶it was the day I subbed at I loved it
Also- you were talking about when you started using your face cam! From what I remember it was the black widow challenge and it blew my MIND i was like YOU HAVE A FACE!

It’s always a good way to support the creator though. Most of the time I just let the ads play all the way through because I want to support my favorite creators.

finding clay to build the silo took me so long it was so annoying

An easier way to find clay is to use your hoe and dig around the field you grow your crops!

I usually bring my hoe to the mines and dig the mud. It's a decent way to get clay.
