Great, succinct, well-thought out presentation! I bought the FT2 for use with my clients for the ease of use, and to avoid changing plates. I couldn't be happier. This is a solid piece of machinery. Although there IS some features I couldn't figure out (I understand body mechanics, not machines and pulleys), Fred's delivery broke it down for me exceptionally well
Just had mine installed yesterday. This was the first one the equipment company I purchase from every sold. They were very impressed with the quality and function of the unit.
Got this machine a year ago. Very good as intermediate trainer. Good value for money. My main caveats is the fact that the smith bar does not lock on multiple locations making it unusable for squat for example. You need to finish the exercise squatting down which isn’t practical. The leg extension attachment is not very easy to use, and effective. I would also get different chin-up bar if one was available. A good seated lats pull is not easily available. You can do it seated on the floor or raise a bit like me on a book but then there is no dual cable attachment. I think this trainer can be much better with some simple additional attachments and a better smith bar lock. Having said all that a very good buy for a small home gym.
I absolutely love this machine!! I’ve had it for just a couple of months now. Thank you for designing the best home gym system on the market! And yes, I took your advice and found my local dealer. They offered an affordable financing deal which allowed to me to pull the trigger on this. I use it every day and don’t have to go to the “purple” gym anymore
I just purchased the FT2. I am very impressed by the engineering of this machine. Great quality and functionality for the price point. I also really like the app for my phone and the videos etc.
I actually went to the headquarters to pick up a curl bar for cable machines last week. The staff is really cool, Sal helped me out. Very cool of them to actually let me pick up at thier headquarters. He even let me try out my dream machine the ft2. One can dream lol!
Best strength machine on the market. Only smith machine out there that is self-spotting with no weight plates needed. Fred is looking huge, he must use the FT2.
Sir...definitely interested in the FT2...but I see the FT2's minimum height is 83 inches...however, I am relegated to an 84 inch basement ceiling...but I am worried that I will need a taller ceiling in order to assemble the machine...if you have any insight on that...can you please advise?
Hi there! Which ropes are you referring to since there is no bench presented in the video? Would love to help and give assistance if you can specify which measurements you'd like.
+J Tracey Hey J! We're happy to hear you love your FT2! Anything features in particular you would like to see or have us highlight? Also, here is a video on how to do an assisted pull-up with the FT2 ua-cam.com/video/nyWhLnxlKhQ/v-deo.html
+J Tracey We are going to be uploading videos showing more of the FT2 but, in the meantime, here's a video showing a golf swing using the FT1 but it can be done with the FT2 also. ua-cam.com/video/aEm-qnUgJJs/v-deo.html
InspireFitness so I am still confused on the weight of each plate? Can you tell me what each plate weighs? When I purchased my machine I added the extra stack and it’s my understanding that each side is a total of 100lbs?

Amazing piece of kit, but I went for the FT1 as I also have a powertec levergym which kind of replaces the smith bar. Yes, my garage gym is crowded!

Inspire fitness, do you guys know when you’ll start taking orders again?
This machine is badass.
Love it!!
Fred is very convincing💪👍
InspireFitness, can you add the extra weight to the weight stack after owning the FT2 for a while?
Hi Carl, yes of course! Add the extra weight whenever you are ready.
InspireFitness so I am still confused on the weight of each plate? Can you tell me what each plate weighs? When I purchased my machine I added the extra stack and it’s my understanding that each side is a total of 100lbs?
Hello buff-n-stuff each plate weighs 10 pounds. The extra stack weighs 50 pounds with the 5 extra plates.
FT2 vs SCS? What's the differences?
