Try using an alternator with a clutch pulley..when it reaches a certain rpm is disengages the alternator and when the rpm drops it re engages and starts back to charges

Damn! This thing turns out amazing. It's no longer a Supra, it's a rocket on wheels! Just easy to put in much money for parts and give the car to a specialized workshop. Or asking for advices from experts and professionals in every single detail for having a perfect runner from the start. But i love your mindeset and vibe guys. You always want to make the experiences by yourself to improve your own knowledge and skills at learning by doing. On that base the next build is everytime more prosper than the one before. Keep it on. Cause for me this is what makes Throtl so special. I have absolutely no doubts that this freaking ride will burn Barona Raceway to the ground very soon. Can't wait for that! This is a sick build love everything about it. You guys do some amazing custom restorations, this is definitely one of the best.
Seems like for all the manual vehicles a controlled clutch bypass valve would provide huge benefits

Just some feedback on this. Great car but, needs some more tuning. Look at doing a corner balance for an even weight distribution. The suspension on the car is way too stiff for the amount of power it's being slammed at it. With that, need to figure out the wheel hop or you're never going to fly off the line. Keep it up! I'm sure this is an 8 second car.

Did you guys weigh that car? hows the corner balancing? do you have the right spring rates on the coilovers? Independant rear ends needs proper finnesse to get it off the line hard

You guys should collab with Pedro who has the ‘Baltic Supra’ UA-cam channel. He has been chasing 6’s in his MK4 with a sequential gearbox as well, I’m sure he’d have some tips/trips for you guys. Great dude and awesome videos as well.
Pedro does not have a sequential trans. His car has a TH400 automatic and it's always been an automatic car. He's also running close to 6 second 1/4 mile times. These guys are running 1/8 mile here.
