The real question is does it run 10’s? I want a video of seeing it run 10’s at the track. He owed Dom a 10 second car!
With 1200 HP, it will probably run low 9s, maybe even 8's.
After the work and overnight parts from Japan, it should decimate all
I've always wondered. If he owed dom a car because the eclipse got roasted, where did the 10 second number come from. Cause the eclipse was nowhere near 10s, 12s maybe but not 10s.
@@andrewjdm9523 my uncles Supra makes 1300hp and runs high 9s. Traction is the biggest problem at that power

Honesty, this was my favorite car at SEMA. Out of all the crazy builds, this one really hit home for me. It was the only build that brought out the kid in me that first got into cars❤

I have huge respect for trailer hauler drivers and semi truckers plus all that in between, patience pays off waiting on delivery! So many factors can happen. Glad that Supra made it!
I love that Quinn caught the JGTC inspired aero treatments....Not too many people stateside were fans in the 90s of JGTC.

Absolutely stunning car. Love your modern twists, the turbo and fully working Nos is spot on. I thought the Eclipse was incredible but this is on another level great job 👏. Thanks for showing other cars too some awesome builds.

Since SEMA is now over, you need to get it to a track & see what it can really do. You probably built a 9-second car, but there is only one way to know for sure.
I'm actually blown away that nobody said anything about those awesome headlights!! That's my favorite part of the supra. The whole car is super badass of course, but those headlights complete the build. Great job guys
The Angel eyes are kind of ricey. They were cool in 2002, not now. Factory OEM’s would’ve been better.
@@DJDynamik I feel that they go with the "modern look" they were going for with the build since all of the RGB effects it has. Just imo
I can’t wait to see both of the modern day versions of the Supra and the Eclipse side by side

Pretty cool. I’m actually not a fan of the franchise, except the first movie that I did like. It’s weird though seeing this car, it just doesn’t feel completely finished somehow without seeing Paul near it. Probably just my own weird thought. RIP Paul Walker. Good actor, better person. 🤙🏻

@@mmmJamSandwich I agree but I also don’t think supras or eclipses need them either, yet these guys pulled it off twice so I’d be interested in seeing their take on the rx7, plus I think it’s more interesting then being a direct copy of the movie car.
The crew at Throtl did a great job on the build, very nicely done. Pro level build and detail for sure. Even if it is a bit overplayed with the F&F theme (sorry I just am tired of F&F and NFS liveries, I see them every single day in Sim Racing).
-I get it... a whole generation grew up thinking their floorpans would blow the rivets out at high RPM and NOS is the same as gunpowder... but I didn't.

O.M.G. I LOVE IT... retired police officer here that 💯 absolutely LOVES tuners. Had a few run from me back in the day, there was NO WAY I could have caught them. That's where my respect for these cars originates from. That CIVIC tho.... damn guys. It needs to sit in my driveway.

Yeah, the Jetta would be awesome. They have to build it with a VR6 turbo though.
This version of the Supra is so updated and looks wild , am sure it’ll give them Nissan r30s boys chills of fear
I like your Mark 4 Supra , specially JDM mix Drag racing setting. It’s awesome build .
The only thing I don't like about the Supra is the front bumper, it just doesn't have the same type of personality as the OG Bomex one; all the venting, more aggressive lines/creases, fog lights, turn signals, etc. Currently it reminds me too much of the TRD Supra bumper. Everything else came out so sick though. Still a great build, can't wait to see this thing rip.

The key word is RELATABLE! You need to build cars that most people can either buy or feel nostalgia for. Especially during these financially hard times. Yes, a million dollar supercar/sports car is nice to look at but taking a shitbox and turning it into something nice is even more enjoyable.

Sorry Quinn, the Mustang is a '67 fastback and NOT a 69 mach 1. The front corners are off of a 70 Mustang. Note that the "C" pillar scoops are similar to the 67, 68 Shelby GT350, GT500 Mustangs.

Awesome! I look at this build as if none of the other countless 1200hp Supras don't exist yet, that the MkIV is a overlooked and unknown car... Otherwise I'd just go, yeah, wow, another non-stock Supra. This is a modern take on a 20th century Pop Culture Icon.
