@@amaniahnuar I think it's a design issue, as the ring is not that stiff, feels perfectly normal if you hold the focus ring steady. The focus dampening/smoothness is also top-notch stuff, very very premium feeling, but somehow they just don't work together lol.
This lens is being made by Cosina, with the Bessa R3A into mind, hence the 40mm frame lines. Also way good (but not exactly that spot-on accurate) onto any "Leica" CL/"Leitz" Minolta CL and the Minolta CLE.
Thanks for the video ! Notice M9 is used a lot recently. I love M9 a lot since it renders more like Kodachrome out of camera. Very little post processing needed. Saturated colors.
I like the small size…besides the old/new Summaron this new 40mm reminds me of the old 28mm f/3.5 Voigtländer LTM lens. The aperture ring changing the focus is a thing with Miyazaki (MS Optics) lenses too. I tolerate it because I like his taste in optical design. ☺️
I just received my new copy from cameraquest, it has focus slightly past infinity ?, it was tested on a few camera, wondering anyone has this some problem with this lens?, thanks

right! Indeed, that lens too. I really hope Leica can come up with more "true rangefinder lenses" like this one.
