Hell yeah, looks good dude, I have some ceramic coat I need to throw on my wheels ASAP lol, I just already mounted them so it’s gonna be a bit of work.
No worries brother. Depends on your car and wether the rear are Torsion Bar or IRS suspension. Most MK6 Jettas run BC coilovers. I ran HR Ultra Lows since I got them off a friend for a good price. If I were buying a new set, I would go BCs with the Extreme low option, just so you can get lower. Currently I’m running Scale Suspension coilovers. But those are super stiff at 34K springs, since I got them from a friend parting out his show car.
Depending on your offset, it’s probably gonna rub on a big tire like 235/40, if the wheel is 18x8.5 +35. If the offset is 45mm, it would be better for Stock ride height.
So currently I’m running -1 Front, -3 rear. Haven’t noticed a difference. The alignment lined up just fine. When you lower your car, you get natural negative camber, but your Toe alignment is the one to look out for.
What wheels are those? Did you lower your car and if so how much? I have this same car, same color and wanted to see if this car looks good putting on some oz sperturismo gt wheels. Any info would be appreciated .
Yeah Brother. So I was on HR ultra low Coilovers, lowered bout 4inches Wheels are Neuspeed RSE11s, the spec is 18x9 ET 45. Personally wish I would have went 19s, but it still works. I have 205/40/18 tires on them. My honest opinion. OZ Sperturismo GT wheels would look fire in these cars. Depending on how low you wanna go, I would go 19s. I think they just fit the Sedan better, imo. Color wise? I think bronze or silver or white. Unless you’re going full murdered/blacked out look. Personally I don’t like gloss black because they hide the shape of the wheel and are on a lot of cars. Lowering wise. Unless you’re trying to be super stances, springs / basic coilovers are going to be your best bet. I’m lowering my car, adding a bit more camber, and trying to get a good fitment, that’s why I bought 2k coils with stiffer springs. But that’s me trying to go crazy.
@@whatsaninlinefive7009 like I said those wheels on your car look awesome. Since im thinking on adding the oz superturismo gt. 18” would be my limit and since going bigger, this would raise my car so I’d have to addd some coil overs to lower it to what the current height it is now or going a little bit lower so the fenders are at the level almost to the edge of the wheel. Also, I’m adding the r style front fascia, angel eyes led headlamps and a small trunk spoiler. Not too overly large. I say it again. Your car looks great.
Thanks Man! I think everyone tend to run BC coils with the Extreme low version, of you’re really going for the low. I’m happy with the set up, just want to roll my fenders, add another 1 degree of camber so I can have -3 all around.
Question Man? Have 13 Jetta 2.5se want to run a 22540R18 tire and 18x8.5 neuspeed wheel, and H&R coil overs. Do you know what offset I should get ? And will I have any rubbing issues ? Thanks !
Usually 18x8.5 ET35 will work without any issues, depending on how long you go. Shouldn’t rub. I’m running 18x9s and they fit without rubbing, but that’s because I’m super low. How long do you plan on going?
BC doesn’t make them for Solid Beam. The issue is the bottom shock bolt is 10mm on Solid Beam vs 14mm on IRS suspension. 2 ways you can go about this. 1. Swap in an IRS rear end. Or 2. ECS tuning sells “Solid Shock Mount Bushings”. Basically the fill the gap between the small bolt and the shock bolt hole.
@@whatsaninlinefive7009 do you have an instagram or something I can add you on so we can talk a little more, you seem very knowledgeable about this and that’s exactly what I need, thanks bud
I got them both from EBay. The top one you could get from Euro Tuning, but you can only get the bottom from EBAY. You could get both top and bottom in honeycomb on eBay.

Hey Game, So far I did an IRS swap in the rear, with some rear upper control arms (Megan Racing). I also installed HR ULTRA LOW Coilovers, which gave me a 4in drop. With that drop, I gained -1 Natural Camber in the front (Just Lowering the car), and I adjusted the control arms to be -3 in the rear.
Stock size is 14x1.5 27mm long. I am running Spulen’s 14x1.5 45mm long, they’re okay, but not glossy. Depending on what size spacers you want, you just need to add whatever MM size spacer I top of your bolts size. Ex. I think I have 15mm spacers right now. So I just basically added 15 on top of 27mm which came out to 42mm. I just sized up to 45mm to be safe.
Hey Daniel, sorry the notification didn’t come through. Spacers should be fine. Biggest thing you wanna look for is your bolt pattern, EX. Mine is 5x112. Then you wanna look for Hub size. Mine was 57.1 I believe. I ran Hubcentric rings for the wheels where it fill in the gap where the wheel mounted to the spacer/hub.
A Jetta and a Husky seems quite fitting and great video

Ebay, it’s a MK6 Jetta Hybrid Grill

I appreciate you 🙂
What AWE exhaust do you have? How is it?
I have the track exhaust. I absolutely love it. Paired with a USP downpipe, it really opens up the 2.5
