Chuck Berry's Johnny B. Goode is one of the songs that's engraved on the' Golden Record' attached to each of the two Voyager spacecraft that left Earth in 1977. These spacecraft are travelling around 38,000 mph and are now about 14 Billion miles from our home planet, and in interstellar space. Chuck Berry's music will live on in the eternity of space and time. Those of us who ever had the privilege of seeing him perform in person will have that memory for the rest of our lives. R.I.P. Mr. Berry, and thank you for all the great music.
I saw Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis and Bo Diddley all in one incredible show about 16 years ago...they brought the house down...hundreds of people were dancing in the isles and just going crazy. They are all without doubt some of the greatest Rock N' Rollers the world has ever seen. RIP to them all...and thanks for the music.
Bon Scott's favorite signer and Angus Young's favorite guitarist. When I read Bon Scott idolized Little Richard, I suddenly saw it. But Little Richard and Chuck Berry always sound so unique. ACDC 1975-79 were fantastic.

Technically rock n roll took elements of blues, discarded others, added other ideas and was / its own thing. The antecedence is real but they are not the same.

His live performances were disappointing. He had no regular band. He would turn up in town and hire the cheapest musicians available and demand payment, from the promoter, upfront and in cash. It’s not really respectful to the fans. Elvis had a permanent band and hired the best musicians, regardless of cost.
The videos picked were a compromise of good quality sound and video. Would you prefer bad sound ? If so ..watch another Chuck Berry compilation ..and stop picking holes !! Thank you !!
