I'll do my best here but I might get some of it wrong. Skewer explodes after landing, needler locks onto targets but has less ammo (insanely good tracking btw), rocket launcher is able to track vehicles and infantry, pulse carbine just has a higher fire rate and maybe less energy consumption, mangler shoots 3 'rivets' instead of 1 and I think has more ammo, AR has increased range and less spread, BR has less ammo but takes 1 less burst to kill and less recoil, Commando deals more damage and increased mag, sidearm does much more damage with less ammo I believe, ravager just makes the shots bounce (which is less useful in my opinion), cindershot has a sort of 'firework' effect after bouncing off a floor so you can kill most enemies with just 1 shot, sniper has more ammo and a larger mag, plasma pistol does more damage and shoots 5 charged shots instead of 1, original shock rifle shoots 3 bolts with each shot but the variant shoots 5, disruptor deals much more damage and I think has more ammo, duelist sword let's you jump slightly higher and I think has a quicker recovery after a kill, gravity hammer has a larger increase in jump height than the energy sword and longer range, sentinel beam has much less ammo but kills significantly faster and can destroy vehicles quite well, hydra has faster projectiles and tracks better, and lastly, the heatwave has a longer range and deals more damage when bouncing off a surface. Hope this helps

Am I the only one that thinks the bullet-trail of the bulldog is WAY lower than it's supposed to? It looks like the spread is coming out of the magazine or even below the weapon rateher than from the barrel
So it would be easier to see the difference if the weapon was on the ground. Lore-wise I bet that higher ranking individuals would be using these variants. Kinda like how a minor brute in Halo 3 has a light blue coating while the majors are a dark blue. Or minor grunts being orange and majors being red and ultras being white, etc.
Most of the UNSC weapons sound so *BOOTY.* Especially their reload sounds. Like... what happened? Why did they sound so crisp and satisfying in 4, 5 and 2A, but not here? They fell off so hard, maaaaan.
I don't know, I feel that some plasma weapons should shoot only red plasma. As impressive as some brute weapons are, I feel that dual-wieldable Brute Plasma Rifles are the most violent from the Halo sandbox. Red signifies anger, energy, and extreme violence, yes? I would only accept the color Blue if the Covenant were present on Zeta Halo in-game, because even the plasma grenade should be Red. Also, where is the Spiker/Spike Rifle from Halo Wars 2? Speaking of dual wield weapons, I wish the Halo infinite brings dual wielding back for smaller arms such as sidearms and SMGs. Hell, make needlers do a wieldable gun, now that we have their match in game. Last but not least, all banished units from Halo Wars 2 should be present in Halo Infinite, including the Goliath. For there to be a handful of what are best considered a "skeleton crew" is a disservice for Halo infinite.
It makes sense for the banished to have covenant styled weapons, as they are known to use whatever they find including human weaponry. I also disagree with the idea that all banished units should be in the game. That would just cause bloat, and some enemies roles will likely overlap with others.
Those blue weapons were made by Elites, and Elites are in the game. The Banished take what they can get, it's why in game, some enemies are Banished-fied. And dual Wielding is bad for balancing issues, because you are doubling the stats on the weapon, a weapon that is already dual wielding would be good.
@@CommunityFan What you say is interesting. Last year, we're supposed to fight Covenant forces on Zeta Halo, only for that idea to be scrapped and retcon in favor of the Banished. I mean, were there Covies on that Ring, and they ended up joining the Banished? As for the idea of not needing every Banished unit from Halo Wars 2, I simply pointed out otherwise because the Banished forces on Zeta Halo look and feel almost like a skeleton crew. Then again, we aren't shown all the details.
@@stevenrusch6341 We were always going to be fighting Banished on Zeta lmao. And yes, Ex Covies joined the Banished, that's kinda what the Banished is, it was made from a Rebellion within the Covenant. This isn't the full Banished either, but a small group, this is just a group that is researching and taking supplies. The Covenant also died in Halo 3, The Covenant Remnant died in 5.
I love a few of the weapons designs. Some however like the Bulldog scream Wolfenstein. The Magnum, the most Iconic Halo sidearm has been dumped. Like. WHAT?! But the sounds fail to impress me. Im not getting the metallic click and bang I was expecting. It sounds to.. dull, very flat almost as if the sounds are premuted. The BR sound from Halo 2 being made more snappy would have been spot on. Asfor the plasma weaponry. The plasma pistol now sounds like a todler,..especially the overcharge. Reach did that perfectly. The large crackle of circutry almost frying. The shaking of the hand as the heatsinks open up and near scald you. Infinite sounds to... fantasy. The needler fireing animation is spot. On. Thats how I expect a sharp needle flung at high speeds to look. But the sound is.. deploreable. I am not getting the .. explosive cracking glass thats the telltale sign of someone being porcupined. But overal the weapons sound to.. pewpew. Overall, artwise.. very well done. Soundwise this needs a major rework.
@@aedanshepard316 agreed. However Its design, unique look, sound and 2x zoom capabillity made it a fan favourite. Especially the recoil from Halo CE gave the impression that it was a hefty, heavy hitting pistol, even as a spartan fired it you saw the gun lurch back. Which would make sense as most covenant infantry had a shield or armour of some kind, which a heavy round could break or bypass. Which explained the one hit headshot capabillity it offered. The current handgun in my oppinion is to light in all departments. Especially in a game set in a future setting as Halo I would expect unique designs across the board wherever possible. So the drop of the original Magnum, in my oppinion. Feels like a let down to one of the most iconic handguns in the franchise.
I won't forgive 343 industries for deleting Spartan laser, SMG, Bruteshot(in the game where's a BRUTES FUCCCK), M90shotgun, FUCKIN MAGNUM, and other ICONIC weapon in halo. Oh yea, I dunno, but MA40 lookin pretty cool, but.. they could add MA5C as variation of Ass rifle, don't ya think so?
@@mynamedoesntfi--6161 No, because there both different types of gun. They fire different types of rounds. It's clear the the variant of the Mangler is firing buckshot shotgun shells. Or at least a version of it.
@@burnttoast.2017 Exactly my point. The only thing these really have in common is that they are Pocket Shotguns, (Mangler is more of a hand canon) and they have the same rate of fire. They are 2 different guns, made by different alliances, which do 2 completely different things. Also, the Mangler shoot SlugShots, not BuckShots.
Might just be me, but a lot of these guns just sound weak. The spanker sounds like your shooting a bullet rather then a rocket and that sniper doesn't have the boom of any of the originals. The pistol really needed the manglers sound and the mangeler needed to sound like something that would break your arm to shoot if you weren't a spartan. Not enough to call the game bad but the sound design is at least a little questionable.
My dream is that they’ll add every weapon from past halo games here, From Halo CE all the way to 5, maybe add vehicles too? Then it’ll be the ultimate halo game for me.
@@graham4385 it needs to be balanced or the game would just be chaos and it would get old real quick I do agree the weapons need to be in like a super fiesta playlist and some other party modes but they need to stay out of normal multiplayer
I like it! But I just don't understand why 343 insists on having two versions of every gun now all the time, When things like the shock rifle shouldn't even be a thing, it should have just been a Brute Plasma Rifle with the ability to emp vehicles if you rapid fire shoot a vehicle, and the purging shock rifle should have just been a normal blue Plasma Rifle with the same effect just slower more steady rate of fire and slower overheat ... and the ravager should have just been a Brute shot with red projectiles. Also the Plasma cannon doesn't sound Plasma enough it sounds like normal bullets are coming out of it when it would sound better if it had the halo 2 Plasma cannon sound, and the rush down gravity hammer should have the halo 3 gravity hammer sound. The second version of the sidekick could have just been a Magnum from any of the previous halo games to accompany the sidekick, the secondary BR could have just been a Halo 5 DMR (or even a Spv3 DMR even better) , the secondary AR could have just been scrapped all together or be the Halo 3 or 4 AR, the secondary mangler could have been a Mauler but now even more powerful so it would be a legitimate singehanded Brute shotgun, rapid-fire pulse carbine? They could have just added a Spiker where the spiker could have been buffed to be rapid fire and make it the equivalent of a Halo 4 SAW but for the Banished.
1. The variants are for mostly bosses and are only in campaign. 2. They wanted to add new weapons, the shock rifle is a precision weapon, the Plasma Rifle isn't. The bruteshots role is now the cindershot. And the variants are supposed to be the weapon, but a bit different, not an entirely different weapon. If they were going to do different models for variants, why not just add that weapon?
@@CommunityFan nah the brute shot can return they just need to differentiate it from the cindershot, make it have spike grenade effects/brute fragmentation shards
So, ignoring all the other ways and reasons the AR and BR wouldn't work irl, its actually believable (I'm not sure thats the right word to describe this) that they don't have moving charging handles. I assume that both guns (somehow) just have non-reciprocating charging handles, much like an AR-15 or a SCAR. Hopefully im not sounding like an ass, I dont mean to come off as one. Personally, I'm much more interested in the lore behind how they managed to get a full auto, 36 round capacity, .308, bullpup rifle to work as well as the AR does, or how tf they worked out 3 round burst to be an extremely accurate and effective mode of fire, and not just used in a suppressive role
@@r0hko well plenty of weapons, such as the ar15, have a charging handle but its only meant to 'rack' a round into the weapons chamber. The bolt, which is hidden away inside the weapon, is what gets pushed back by the gasses being released not the charging handle itself, that's why you only see them use it when the mag is completely empty and they have to put a round into the chamber again.
They shouldn't have reciprocating charging handles. If they did, the user would get hit in the face a ton. There's a reason we put charging handles on bullpups in spots our faces *won't* be.

@@threadworm437 It's a fucking superlaser. It should be op. It's not like it was a common weapon.
@@jacksonmiller7745 I don't really have a problem with it but it outshined the other power weapons alot, especially in halo 3 where the rocket launcher lost its lock on, and the fuel rod was only good at really close range
The Skewer is the new spartan laser
The bandit really calls for the upgraded stalker rifle
Am I the only one who gives 5 marines at an FOB a Volatile Skewer, put them all in a Razorback and just drive to every overworld boss/target and watch them annihilate them
I had a bunch of Marines with the unique shotgun and a sniper rifle once, it was a bloodbath
I have never thought about that
I did that with the tracking spnkr. Melted through enemies
Try the arcane beam, most op thing ive seen yet.
Here's my loadout razor back with 5 marines which have br 75 breachers and I have a gliched scorpion cannon and arkane sentinel beam
How to get scorpion cannon you need to get to the open world in the Outpost Tremonious mission and you should see a ledge on the the ship to the right and you should be able to grapple up there and you should find 2, 2 barreled artillery cannons and on the first one go to the top of the left barrel and you should pick up if you don't you need to make a new save and don't delete your current one
Coder: "how fast do you want the needles to sho-"
Devs: *yes*
Between the bloodblade and duelist. Unsure which has you run the fastest
Bloodblade gives less bonus, but deals at least 2 times the damage
See that as a win
Duelist seems to be faster, but the bloodblade does crazy damage, on top of disintegrating anything it kills.
So many negative crybabies in the comments. Good video dude im super pumped to get in, explore, theorise and have a blast
So having an opinion of your own makes you a negative crybaby? Ya virgin.
Where and how do you get the unique UNSC weapons? I want the Striker.
The Warhammer looks like Marauder's axe from Doom Eternal almost
I think Backdraft Cindershot is the guy who plays Dr. Strange
The flexfire sniper is deffinetly my weapon of choice!
Edit:i forgot the name of the commando variant byt that aswell
What happened to the fuel rod cannon, plasma rifle, beam rifle, spartan laser, DMR, and the SMG?
Gone, reduced to atoms.
Spartan Laser and DMR already have replacements, but the others could work
@@spookytown7963 Not worthy replacements tbh.
@@EmilioMetralleta they literally do the exact same things but better
@@spookytown7963 I am assuming the Spartan Laser's replacement is the Skewer, but what is the DMR's replacement? I assume it's the commando, but the commando is too weak to be a DMR?
Covenant weapons slap
In a good way
Is there a place to recharge these weapon red sword or the red hammer in campaign ? I’m stuck with both right now sword 0% and hammer at 60% is there a specific location to recharge them . I checked a couple FOBS and nothing 😅
the diminisher of hope? okay whos idea was it to slap energy blades onto a gravity hammer? cause they need a raise!
The arcane sentinel beam is kinda too overpowered because it turns enemies to dust in seconds
Did anyone else run the BR75 threw out the whole campaign
What do the Variants do besides the color change?
They have more ammo do more damage and sometime have other enhancements.
@@Rubhen925 So would that mean I would be able to kill a Spartan with a OHK at arms length instead of using 3 shots?
@@chasehill7271 So why weren't in Fiesta? seriously, the most fun mode of Halo
Looks bootiful, as always
The bloodblade is back baby

Scrap cannon?
What happened to the Magnum? Or other classic/iconic weapons from the other games? ):
sorry to be the bearer of bad new i guess. this is all that was in the game. i heard 343 will be adding new content to the game, maybe new weapons too.
Apparently the Saw from 4 and 5 is in the files and works for the most part
Gone reduced to atoms
The game doesn't need the magnum the mangler is basically a more balanced brute verison of the ce magnum
@@xUseTheForks So? Wouldn't hurt to also have the Magnum or any of the other weapons from previous games
Am I the only one that thinks the bullet-trail of the bulldog is WAY lower than it's supposed to? It looks like the spread is coming out of the magazine or even below the weapon rateher than from the barrel
It is. Not to mentions almost all of the weapons feature non moving charging handles which bother me a lot
The Spiker was in halo wars 2 but didnt make it to Infinite. But it's not the end of the world. Let alone Halo. Cuz it's Infinite 🤪
The spiker wouldn't serve much of a purpose in the sandbox, unless they changed it
The spiker is in the game files but it's incomplete. Maybe they'll finish it and make it useable later?
Is the Elite Bloodblade and the Diminisher of Hope stronger than their classics?
is it just me or the pulse carbine is missing the right side vent cover ?
I like the weapons, but I feel like Infinite is missing some
Why do all the Covenant (except for energy sword) and Forerunner weapon variants have a plain white coating??
The unsc weapons are all yellow and black. It's to signify the change in variety.
They're not covenant
@@chasehill7271 You do get the variants from Banished Leaders, so you are right
Does anyone else not like the gun sounds?
I love them
You forgot the last turret is was the scrap cannon
They said no dual wielding and not everything has to be from halo wars 2
Every weapon does something Special if you could Maybe showcase what they do that would be Wonderful but I love the Content thank you💯👾
I love a few of the weapons designs.
The magnum wasn't in Halo 2 either.
Can't wait for the halo mods and modded maps to come on pc.
I miss the smg:(
Missing so many ionic guns, I’m not happy, game is amazing tho
Why do all the special versions of weapons just look like they were made by fucking Dewalt?
I won't forgive 343 industries for deleting Spartan laser, SMG, Bruteshot(in the game where's a BRUTES FUCCCK), M90shotgun, FUCKIN MAGNUM, and other ICONIC weapon in halo. Oh yea, I dunno, but MA40 lookin pretty cool, but.. they could add MA5C as variation of Ass rifle, don't ya think so?
Huge missed opportunity on not calling the Riven Mangler the Mauler
But the Mauler is more of a Scatter Shotgun and the Riven Mangler is more of a Slugshot Shotgun.
@@mynamedoesntfi--6161 it still fires more than one shot per round. It's buckshot, man.
@@burnttoast.2017 The BR75 and Pulse Carbine both shoot burst, are they the same?
@@mynamedoesntfi--6161 No, because there both different types of gun. They fire different types of rounds. It's clear the the variant of the Mangler is firing buckshot shotgun shells. Or at least a version of it.
@@burnttoast.2017 Exactly my point. The only thing these really have in common is that they are Pocket Shotguns, (Mangler is more of a hand canon) and they have the same rate of fire. They are 2 different guns, made by different alliances, which do 2 completely different things. Also, the Mangler shoot SlugShots, not BuckShots.
None of these guns suck, and they all have their purpose.
I’m unfortunately gonna have to report you. The disruptor is by far, more useless than the halo 3 magnum.
@@TheRageEnterprise Absolutely destroyed escharum with it, so not that useless
commando, disruptor, plasma pistol and plasma burst rifle sucks a lot in the multiplayer

OK where do i go to find my weapons that I got from bosses? Like where is my storage crate or whatever that their in?
Raven Mangler acts like a mauler.
I just want a shotgun that's worth a damn.
Same bro, same
Btw it's a chain gun turret
Completely butchered the shotgun. 4 and 5 had BOOM to it
Might just be me, but a lot of these guns just sound weak.
Whoa wait what?! Damn it 343, we need these in multiplayer!!!
People would complain about balance. So no for the devs sake.

Why is the pulse carbine firing from your helmet?
How you playing this early 🤯
Breacher AR and modified sidekick is the ultimate campaign jam. Or BR mangler too.
Wheres the Scrap Cannon and Bandit Rifle DMR?
Rapid fire pulse carbine is what it should've just been as stock
non purple and actually somewhat useful
It is useful if you know how to use it.
I like it! But I just don't understand why 343 insists on having two versions of every gun now all the time,
When things like the shock rifle shouldn't even be a thing, it should have just been a Brute Plasma Rifle with the ability to emp vehicles if you rapid fire shoot a vehicle, and the purging shock rifle should have just been a normal blue Plasma Rifle with the same effect just slower more steady rate of fire and slower overheat ... and the ravager should have just been a Brute shot with red projectiles.

The pinned comment shows it to be at 8:06
Is it just me or do the ar and the br have non moving charging handles?
@@yaroslav7458 it wasnt animated. check the video out in .25 speed
I have no idea but I know for a fact previous games had a reciprocating handle.
They shouldn't have reciprocating charging handles. If they did, the user would get hit in the face a ton. There's a reason we put charging handles on bullpups in spots our faces *won't* be.
What’s the difference between regular UNSC guns and the yellow UNSC guns
