BABYMETAL【SU-METAL (Vocal,Dance) / YUIMETAL (Scream,Dance) / MOAMETAL (Scream,Dance) 】
Formed in 2010. Their major debut single “ Ijme, dame, zettai" along with 2nd single “Megistune" both ranked in the Top 10 Oricon chart in Japan. In March 2014, they took to the stage of Nippon Budokan for a 2-Days gig making them the youngest female act to ever perform there. Their 1st studio album BAYBMETAL made it into the US Billboard chart. In summer of the same year, they embarked on their first World Tour, performing on the Main Stage at UK’s prodigious festival Sonisphere Festival 2014 in front of 65,000 festival goers, and supporting Lady Gaga on her “ArtRave: The Artpop Ball” 2014 Tour. In fall they were back for additional headline shows in Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City and O2 Academy Brixton, London. In January 2015, they headlined a show at the 20,000 capacities Saitama Super Arena, and in June 2015, they headlined a show at the 25,000 capacities Makuhari Messe. In summer of 2015, BABYMETAL received awards from prominent UK music magazines “Kerrang!” and “METAL HAMMER”. They then performed in front of a staggering 90,000 people at the prestigious Reading and Leeds Festival in August. This December, BABYMETAL are to take the stage again for 2 consecutive days at Japan’s Yokohama Arena pulling a total of 26,000 people before returning to the UK in April 2016 to headline London’s The SSE Arena, Wembley. Babymetal is amazing. I listen to this band every day and still can't get enough. As a fan of Judas Priest and Motorhead, I never thought that I would love Babymetal's music, but today I cannot imagine my life without it.
Thats the power of rhe fox god....and also the fact that the masked people playing the music are LITERALLY some of the best musicians in the world, they change regularly too, or at least did...

I used to listen a lot of metal, and I loved them too, Idk why people used to hate them for their style of music because it wasn't "metal" enough, simply ridiculous.
There are videos of Judas Priest and Babymetal performing together at awards shows. Plus, there’s a few times where Rob Zombie was defending Babymetal on Twitter from other metal musicians who said that they were nothing but J-Pop.

何度見ても、ユイメタルとモアメタルのエアギターソロ、最高だな。
当時の彼女達の年齢を考えても、これだけの表現をするのに、どれだけ苦労したのか、伝わってくる。
それだけに、本当に唯一無二のエアギターだ。

BabyMetal has actually become one of my favorite metal bands, I was raised on Slayer, Sepultura, Forbidden, Venom, Megadeath, Disturbed, early Metallica, oh and did I mention Slayer... I love this weird mix that is BabyMetal, the band is phenomenal and SuMetal is an awesome singer that deserves way more credit. Great song and performance.

I am into heavy metal and my wife loves amine. Naturally, our son is into this music so hard.
This is melodic speed metal and it is extremely well done. And I don't think the mainly purpose of the band is to raise money, because then they would go to a more secure genre like pop or some other genre that you can listen in the radio. They tried with something fresh and new and they won. Congratulations BABYMETAL, you are awesome !!

+Undeadborn The reality is that they are here to make money. The industry that they are with is tapping a unique, but lucrative genre. That doesn't mean that they can't be good or moral though.
like you, I don't think that the money is the main purpose of this group. If you only want money, you shouldn't send them to festivals like Sonisphere, because the girls had to deal with music fans able to throw bottles with piss. Kobametal is a true metalhead that wants something new for metal, but they brought a change for idols too. Now the idols are interested in metal music and joining in new projects with metal involved.
こんな事言ったら周りから笑われるかもしれないけど、邦楽界に残る名曲だと思う。
まず歌詞がいい意味で凝ってなくて良い。変に言い回しや難しい表現をしないからスっと心に歌詞が届いてくる。
Suも難しい歌い方はせず、真っ直ぐ伸びる声が重厚なメタルサウンドを突き抜けることで歌詞がより強調されるし、感情がより伝わってくる。
｢涙見せずに〜｣のところは表現力が素晴らしすぎてこみ上げるものがある。
サウンドも一見激しいようでどこか切なさと哀愁を感じさせるところがいい。こういう所はXJAPANとよく似てる。
最後に、3:50｢痛み感じて〜｣のsu,moa,yuiの語り、メロディがマッチしすぎて音源でもLIVEでも涙が出てくる。いろんなアーティストを聞いてきたけどLIVEはともかく、音源でウルウルきちゃうのはBABYMETALぐらいかな。
自分が歌詞を理解できる日本人であったことを嬉しく思う。

今やスーとモアは可愛いだけじゃなくて美しくなって品が感じられるようになった。

さくら学院の部活動としてスタートした派生ユニットというのはあくまで便宜上の後付けです。
｢可憐ガールズ解散コンサート｣で検索してみて下さい。
さくら学院がデビューする一年前に、既にこのプロジェクトは始まっていたことがわかります。
一人のメタルおたくの中間管理職の変人が覚醒し、楽曲作りからコンセプトまで練りに練って、こだわりにこだわって、約一年半かけて作り上げたものです。
特に曲に関しては、依頼された作編曲者が逃げ出したくなるほど、何十回も手直しさせた結果生まれ出たものです。
｢ファーストにしてベスト｣と言われた一枚目を聴けば、全ての曲がどれだけ緻密に、手間と時間をかけて作られたものかわかるはず。
実際の演奏を想定しないで作られた曲は、再現するのが難しすぎるために、結果的に凄腕のバックバンドが組まれました。
アイドルとメタルの融合という前代未聞のコンセプトが海外で激しい賛否両論の渦を巻き起こす中、奇跡の組み合わせとも言えるこの三人は、多くのライブで様々な試練を乗り越えながら、プロとして成長していったのです。
他に解説されてる方がいますが、けっこう昔のコバメタルのインタビュー記事を読むと可憐時代の中元すず香に目をつけて、そこからBABYMETALプロジェクトの構想が始まったことがわかります。
さくら学院の部活動というテイにせざるを得なかったのは、予算の都合と思われます。
日本の女の子のバンド。しかも、虐め絶対駄目って言って歌ってるなんて最高。これからも、ずっと日本の為に世界の為に頑張って下さい。応援しています。貴女達の事は、息子（32歳）から教えてもらいました。凄くクールです。カッコいいです。世界の皆さんに愛されて良いですね。

本当にいい曲だ。陰口叩かれただけで、人はかなり凹む。
虐めの悪いところは、自分が虐められる立場であったのに、自分よりも、能力が劣ると感じた人を自ら虐めてしまうことにある。その事もこの曲は、指摘している。
本当にいい曲だ。言葉で虐められてるクラスメートを俺は、止めろ、ふざけるなと思いながらもその子をかばうことができなかった。
この曲聞くと、自分がどうだったか思い出して涙が出てくるんだよね。俺も虐められてたのに、虐められてる子をかばう勇気がなかった。それだけでなく小６の頃自分よりも能力の劣るとみられる子にたいして、俺は集団虐めに加担していた。
自分の行動が恥ずかしい。言葉だけだったけど。頭が回らない事ってあるんだよね。小学生の頃はそれが顕著な子がいるのは確かなんだよ。俺も虐められまくってた。だが自分より頭が回らない子が、なんだかんだ言われているとき、それに加担してしまった。まあ、その子は、そのこと自体に気が付いていなかったようだけど。皆が分かってる事が分からない子に対して集団で攻撃する、こういうことから虐めは始まるのだと思う。

A metal song with a strong message, I needed to hear this song. I have a mental illness and I can imagine being bullied is the worst. This group brings tears to my eyes on some songs, but they are happy tears. Babymetal has opened my mind and heart to this great music. This music has no negative in it, in my opinion, it sounds great, I'm going to listen to it. And, amazingly, it's uplifting. Well done Babymetal, thank you.

I have just listened to this song repeatedly just this week, and as I looked at the translation of the lyrics, it comforts me since I became a victim of bullying when I was in elementary to college years. This song is truly a powerful message against any forms of bullying. More power to Babymetal.

Almost every BABYMETAL video has a stupid comment about their height and comparing them to Kpop girls. It could have something to do with genes but at the same time, why does that matter? I don't give a shit if the girls are into metal. I think it's the juxtaposition I like. I like that they're pop idols singing a metal track. The cotton candy fluff on top just makes the metal taste that much more metal. Fucking crunchy.
