Same. Far Cry 2 needs a true, spiritual sequel. Incorporating some simple survival and maintenance mechanics into it would bring out the desperate feeling of not only fighting men but nature as well. Nearest town is too far away and you have no car, so your best bet is to set up camp and treat your wounds before they get infected. And as you prepare to sleep, you wonder if the noises out in the darkness are actually from enemies or just hallucinations caused by your character's low sanity because you've been doing contracts back to back with no breaks. You're thirsty and hungry in the morning, but luckily your canteen has water in it and you still have rations. Otherwise you'd have to hunt. Guns make noise, and the fire you cook with attracts enemies who are no doubt looking for whoever destroyed their outpost. Your guns are messed up, nothing is ever new, not even the stuff the arms dealers sell. A proper new gun costs a fortune, and it can very well become an useless hunk of metal within it's first fight because enemy fire can hit and destroy it. You walk the thick rainforest until you reach a "civilian" settlement. Both sides of the war have a cease fire which could become meaningless at any moment. As a merc you have no side, you side with the money. Then a sudden pain hits your body. What is it this time? Malaria? Dysentery? Oh god, please don't let it be sleeping sickness. Or tetanus.

Ant heads were used as the first dissolvable suture. There's evidence that we've been doing it for over 3000 years. They were used for smaller cuts than seen in game, perhaps on blood vessels
The insanity addition to this game is just so on point man, maybe to put a cherry on top they could add like a "rescue team" or something and as you try to follow them they dissapear
Credits to all the men who died in history to let everyone know how to survived and what kills you in the jungle. Now imagine hundreds of tribes in there...
To remove a leech irl, do NOT attempt to just yank it off / burn it or so on, it has a chance of causing the leech to barf up its contents back into the wound and cause infection. The best if not only way is to use something flat but strong like a key or credit card to gently push under its mouth to get it to let go naturally!!!
This reminds me of that time I got a splinter from a beach hut, and since no one had tweezers I just picked up a hermit crab and had it grab the tiny end to wriggle the wood out. It was quite painless, but it was so bizzare that it worked
Well, there are videos of people using maggots to clear dead skin tissue. Maggots only eat the dead/infected/rotting skin and flesh, and leave the living tissue.
Many species of maggots only feed on dead tissue and they (lab grown) are used around the Western world in certain specialized hospital wards for extreme cases of burns and necrosis, to literally clean the "bad" tissues without damaging "good" tissue. Source: Im an actual healthcare professional.
Oh! Forgot to say, about the ants to stitching, i seen it before too. I think is a tribal thing, but they choose ants with big jaws, let it pierce each side of the wound, then rip the body from the head. The ant head stays pinching the skin like a vice, tho just for a few days if i recall.

Biopunk
Ants bite suprisingly strong, so thats why people use them as staples.
2:28 It's interesting how this was actually used to seal wounds, their jaws were strong enough that they made them bite them and ripped off the head.
The voices for insanity is literally just my normal inner monologue.
6:18 mc showed he knows shit about bees, If you wont make sudden movements they're chill, bees are not fuckin hornets that hate everything that's alive
5:24- Ayahuasca? Never heard of it, what's it made of?
Soup
Weed, probably
People trying trying to hide pain after getting hurt: "'tis but a scratch"
The scratch in question: 0:57
bro why the Leech removal looks like a silly 2007 flash game from Newgrounds lmao 💀
0/10. No cigars used.
The devs love flash game
Ant heads were used as the first dissolvable suture. There's evidence that we've been doing it for over 3000 years. They were used for smaller cuts than seen in game, perhaps on blood vessels
I love how the leeches dont even leave off hickey marks on you. Like cmon I want some Coyote Peterson shit
It’s just like far cry but disgusting situations…
The penguin from the batman* COME ON! I don’t want to look at that!
The insanity addition to this game is just so on point man, maybe to put a cherry on top they could add like a "rescue team" or something and as you try to follow them they dissapear
As a brazilian, i can confirm that these wounds are 100% medically accurate.
Credits to all the men who died in history to let everyone know how to survived and what kills you in the jungle. Now imagine hundreds of tribes in there...
In my Game, i featured all the healing animations from green hell and far cry, if you don't have meds and pills
I like that being dirty is classified as an injury
Imagine any Far Cry protagonists having these brutal cuts and bruises and still shrugs them off.
2:24 Hmm... And I knew it the most are to someone arm and leg's blood this is a real 🤔
This man gonna come out like a mummy plastered with leaves and insects
the way he slowly reveal his hand is like..."tadaaaah" 😂
To remove a leech irl, do NOT attempt to just yank it off / burn it or so on, it has a chance of causing the leech to barf up its contents back into the wound and cause infection. The best if not only way is to use something flat but strong like a key or credit card to gently push under its mouth to get it to let go naturally!!!
Can you light a cigar and jam the lit end onto the leech?
Bro got an achievement while pulling the leeches off
Edit: And the amnesia cure
I love how the wounds gradually increase in intensity in the beginning, and then it just ends with dirt as if it's the deadliest of all.
I like how the ants got sent to orbit
The VR version of this game is fuckin wild, ive never been more scared of snakes
Next time i get a cut im gonna be like "quick i need some maggots and ant heads" lol
I like that they used ant heads for cuts, they did their research
Do you know this game is compatible with VR
Green hell in VR would be crazy
1:57 bro got an achievement for removing leeches
I love how the ants just go fucking flying when clear them off
5:07 me when eat the bad burger
I imagine the creator of the game when throught all of these injuries just for the game except the live ending onces
No idea what this game is, but it has a perfect title.
I think it's called Green Hell, I'm not sure
And it looks similar to Far Cry
the game is called "inferno verde" it is a game where you survive inside the Brazilian Amazonia rainforest
I like when he says shut up to the voices. The player just destroyed the last two hallucinations
I’m surprised they didn’t let you make stitches from fish bone and some kind of thread.
Those arms... Suffered a lot.,No shit, and so does the legs
Ah yes, 1:25 D I R T
This reminds me of that time I got a splinter from a beach hut, and since no one had tweezers I just picked up a hermit crab and had it grab the tiny end to wriggle the wood out. It was quite painless, but it was so bizzare that it worked
When the bees happened i got scared for a little
you can also use stingray stingers for worm removal
Wait until you see Farcry 2 healing animations
5:37 imagine having amnesia and they give you some type of brew, next thing you know you are literally trippin
i never seen can ant and maggots heals? what the hack?!

Oh! Forgot to say, about the ants to stitching, i seen it before too. I think is a tribal thing, but they choose ants with big jaws, let it pierce each side of the wound, then rip the body from the head. The ant head stays pinching the skin like a vice, tho just for a few days if i recall.
@@fabiocosta3830, you're right, i know that too.
Still gross tho.
Maggots only eat dead flesh, thus cleaning the wound.
