Fun fact, in the revive animations, the thing you jab into his chest isnt morphine, its actually a pressure equalizer. Your abdomen essentially has a vacuum seal, and if you get shot, air gets in and makes it harder to breathe or circulate blood. The equalizer would be applied after you fixed the wound that made the opening, so the air that got in can expel out without letting more air in.
You are correct about that being a thing. You are absolutely not correct about that being in the game though. They are literal morphine syrettes that you are jabbing into him.
2:40 is my favorite one. Because it means that up until the point you decide to manually heal (which could be several minutes), your guy was walking around completely unhindered by a foot long piece of steel rebar sticking out of his abdomen.
No these animations only play when you are on your last bar of health, there is like a 25 second timeout before you bleed out depending on the difficulty.
This does make sense because how in the he’ll does this guy have so many bullets on him and he does not get an infection and die? Is he like superhuman or is he wade Wilson in disguise?
I also don’t get how he heals himself by one taking out the bullet which will make him bleed a lot, and then using those dirty ass pliers to get the bullet out, all while widening his wound with a knife

Love how when you're doing the healing animations, your health doesn't deplete at zero Also. Pretty sure if you did the bone placements in real life, you'd only worsen the injury.
On the arms, definitely. But I've heard from a doctor that if your fingers or shoulders are dislocated but not broken, you actually can just pop it back into place like that and use it pretty shortly after Also, if you pull a bullet or a piece of rebar out of you, you could easily die shortly after because you're removing what may be the only thing stopping the bleeding
@@chickencurry420 about the last one, maybe he bandages off camera because one of the animations show him doing exactly that. Also considering the place has almost no doctors (except for one guy in the villa) he would have to do this.
Yeah, I go to the air cadets and one of the sergeants during his sleep dislocated his shoulder. So he was sent to hospital, given some drugs and then was given a bed. But instead of sleeping, he got out of his bed, drove all the way to a camp trip he was suppose to be at, walked straight into the office, told the officer his shoulder was dislocated, then he just straight up punched his armpit forcing his shoulder to relocate. The noise made the officer sick, and they had no over option to keep a really strong, 21 year old buff sergeant that was high on drugs in the camp. Next morning he went to the hospital again, only to find out, his shoulder was only partially relocated. Anyways, that was one of the first stories I was told at the cadets.
I loved the realism, how objects stabbed in him had resistance or bullets. I also liked how he couldn’t look at him putting his teammate out of his misery. I’m looking forward to playing this game at some point!

"Bop it" ungodly sounds of bones being pushed into place "twist it" sticks a knife into bullet wound and levers out the bullet "pull it" 6 inches of glas get ripped out of his shin
This was actually a very decent game for it's era. Yes, absolutely ridiculous healing sequences, but still entertaining nonetheless. I remember this game actually being pretty decent for the time, and actually kind of ahead of it's time in a lot of ways. I've never seen a game get everything perfect, and this certainly is no exception, but they definitely added some pretty cool details that not a lot of other games had.
I've tried a number of the Far Cry games. Blood Dragon was a funny throwback, but none of them were as good as Far Cry 2. I've still got the poster that came with it, beaten and worn as it is, tacked to my wall.
First FPS I ever played and I still don’t think I’ve played a game as chaotic to this day. Imo this game was incredible for its time. kept me immersed in a crazy way. I was also very young .😂
3:05 I actually did this once to save my parents a costly trip to the hospital, I was like “nah it’s not even that bad of an injury” and just ripped it out
They wont. Ubisoft gradually gets worse when they release new games. And I'm not sure if they added healing animation from far cry 2 to far cry 6 so yeah i wont bought far cry 6 anymore. It might be garbage
The animations in 2 are so good is because they force you to stand still while it plays out. This naturally can interrupt the pacing in a firefight, so I can see why they changed it so that you can heal while on the move. Though I think it would be cool if they had it so that you have to stand still when healing without syringes if you are in critical health.
They still only heal the forearms, but the new animations so far are definitely better than the last few games. Plus they brought back using pliers to remove bullets instead of goring your arm with a fucking twig. Although I don't think Ubisoft will ever make a game quite like FC2 and FC3, it definitely looks like Ubisoft is at least putting more effort into the gameplay, as opposed to just banking it all on a cool villain like the previous games.
My brother's first Farcry game was Evolutions, so he got used to the idea of having super powers running around in this series. When we got this game and the first time his vision started going strange, he looked at me excitedly and asked "is this my evolution?" With absolute joy I simply responded with "Nope, it's Malaria"
*IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS YOU DO NOT FEEL PAIN* I know this both from experience and from listening to the accounts of people who've been mortally wounded (shot, stabbed). There are plenty of those stories here on youtube, go find them.

Also. Pretty sure if you did the bone placements in real life, you'd only worsen the injury.
On the arms, definitely. But I've heard from a doctor that if your fingers or shoulders are dislocated but not broken, you actually can just pop it back into place like that and use it pretty shortly after
Also, if you pull a bullet or a piece of rebar out of you, you could easily die shortly after because you're removing what may be the only thing stopping the bleeding

This was actually a very decent game for it's era. Yes, absolutely ridiculous healing sequences, but still entertaining nonetheless. I remember this game actually being pretty decent for the time, and actually kind of ahead of it's time in a lot of ways. I still don't believe that this was removed in far cry 5, hopefully the new far cry 6 will return the healing animations.
nah they wont
