That was some impressive playing. Jeff Healey, God rest his soul, was blind and played with his fretting hand over the neck too. Perhaps it's an issue of what feels most comfortable to the player. Either way, this kid was blessed with major talent.
Right, every guitarist with sight probably does. But if for some reason I went blind, I would have to learn to play without... When you lose a sense, you learn to adapt, and it heightens your other senses.
hey maybe you could give me a few lessons on making those pull offs upside down easier im having trouble love the chromatic blues man youve got some soul and skill great combo!!!
Hiroaki Tagawa is really blind. The over-hand playing is the result of self-teaching; apparently, without any knowledge in the instrument, he started to play first with the guitar on the floor, like playing the koto
When you become firmiliar enough with the fretboard, it's like reading brail. If this guy was deaf I would be impressed. No but seriously, he is still phenominal. So thumbs down me, you know you want to.
when you first learned you could see it i can play behind my heas with my teeth and blindfolded also " even over the top " but thats all for show when you have nevr seen the fretboard before itis probable for it to be easier to feel it that way i dont know , and that is not mnt tobe sarcatic just a thought
barring is not difficult at all...its kind of hard at first for beginners but it shouldnt be a consideration after a few months. besides he only barres a few chords at the very end of the acoustic section so wtf are you talking about noob
thats insane! multiple styles too, and his playing position is definately interesting
Awesome !!!
Jeff Healey must be smiling in heaven !!
The acoustic part sounded awesome and was played with emotion, loved it!!!
