I felt God was telling me to quit my last job. I had prayed about it a few times. Then I started seeing signs that lead me to believe now was the time to go. The job had its ok moments, but it became stressful as time went on. It envovled talking on the phone all day, It got to the point where I was literally sick and tired. I started having cluster headaches and backaches, and wasn't able to stay sleep. I ended up resigning a month ago...with only enough to pay my rent for the next month. I began praying and water only fasting from around 9am to 6pm for a few days. During this time I learned to increase my faith, and not worry, event though things looked differently. I began applying for jobs online. Thinking I should take anything just to keep the lights on. I applied for unemployment, and it was approved, even though I quit, but due to health concerns. I also got my last check, which I didn't expect to be much, because I only worked 4 days for the pay period. But on top of this, I was paid all the PTO I had acquired, also unexpected, because our state laws don't force companies to pay this. This ended up being enough to pay my rent and bills for 2 more months.
A week passed and I found a post for a state government job, that basically matched my resume word for word. It also paid me 2 dollars more an hour than my last job. I was given an interview, and eventually got the job. I started working this week
work not for money but for God

God told me to leave everything behind and come to Atlanta and even though I am homeless right now I know that He is a God of miracles and He is going to bring me out of it all for His glory. 🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼 It's good to be obedient.

Hi, you’re where I’d like to be. I pray that you are given a job that you absolutely enjoy. I work in corporate America and absolutely hate my job now. I have to deal with clients, meetings all day long, and lead on projects and people look to me for answers on said projects. I feel I am meant to lead but not in corporate America. Anxiety from 20 years ago is coming back. I am a little concerned about my rent, don’t own a car, don’t have kids. It’s a concern but I don’t know how long I can take this.
I've been wanting to walk away from my job. Each day I walk into the job, I began to think about what I've just left My eyes get watery, knowing I have what it takes for me to run my own business i do home made arts and crafts.
But today I learned the key to my success is God. Knowing Him is my key.

We must obey Jesus, as Christians. Stop working for money, for the food and drink that perishes! Did Jesus work for money? Did Paul? Did Peter? Did John? No, and for those that had done it, like Peter, they left all and followed Jesus. We *need* to do this too.

the Bible says we walk by faith and not by sight! God is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path, but in order to be walking on the path you have to take a step first! it may be a baby step, and you may stumble a few times, but the Love of God will always pick you back up!

I just quit my job a week ago. I've been trying to find a different job & haven't got hired anywhere so I stuck it out with the job I already had. I KNEW I wasn't going to be at this job for too long & started to feel like my times there was coming to an end I wasn't growing, I was really bored, started working less hours & got tired of the same ol routine I just didn't know WHEN I would quit & thought I would have a backup job but NO I took a leap of faith & quit after I had my LAST straw from all the stuff I've been dealing with for the past almost 2 years. Getting attacked by kids I worked with, staff bullying, lying on me etc... Idk what's NEXT in my journey but im trusting God & I know this was part of his plan he didn't want me there for too much longer slaving away for NOTHING & don't think he wants me working for someone else again.

I left my job in December 2019. This video was the first confirmation I received after already feeling like I was supposed to leave. I am a single mom of two so to leave my job making $20 an hour was not easy. I took the leap and did it afraid. Months later I had to move out of my apartment and back in with my mom. It was hard for me but God never left me. Here I am almost a year and it was the BEST decision I ever made. I have received so much clarity on my purpose and what God wants me to do. I also went back to school full time. God has truly provided for me in this last year. Between people blessing me, getting three unexpected checks in the mail, and more! My kids and I have not gone without. I have been stretched and there were times I cried out to God not knowing what to do next but he has truly led me and provided for me! I thank God for this video it truly helped me ❤️❤️
Sis I am so on the same journey! However, I was fired! Ikr! But even in that, I learned that God was In it, he used that to push and trust me out in the deep, and he told me that I wasn't going to work another 9-5, this was a year ago, and now here I am a year and couple months later, I have learned God in such a powerful way and really to know him as a PROVIDER! I have not lacked since then but have GAINED supernaturally even in the area of finances! It is not according to our understanding ....God can be trusted an he has something to prove in your life! Keep walking in faith and preserving, HE WILL DO EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT YOU EVER HOPED OR IMAGINED!!!! Praying for you!🙌

God told me to leave my job last year and gave me a date in December 2019. I was slothful (transparency) and operating in doubt and fear and missed my window. I later found out that if I had left by the date He gave me I would have had more opportunities as 2 days after the date, my industry (public higher education in Georgia) put restrictions on hiring and then COVID hit. He has, however, shown me that He is yet faithful and that He has not forgotten me. Last month, in the midst of COVID, a recruiter from another state saw my profile on LinkedIn and spoke to me about applying for a job that I would have thought to be out of my league and comfort zone. So I know that God's favor is still there and He is opening doors even in the midst of a pandemic. I don't know what He's pushing me towards, but I will no longer walk in fear, doubt, and slothfulness (procrastination). It's time to move when God says move!

I have not only recently quit my Job but have left the apartment I was living in, completely moved by the Holy Spirit. God said, "Go." and let me tell you, I argued, I avoided and I tried to make sense of it... but all kinds of everything in me felt WRONG about continuing to stay at my Job and live in the apartment I was in. there are many reasons god has now revealed to me in full confirmation why I needed to leave both my job and my apartment. I am now in school full-time on the road toward becoming a minister.
I was called into ministry very young but it was never encouraged or made understood enough to me. and once I was old enough to understand I just ignored... no different than Jonah did. I lost my way from God... and all hell broke loose on my life. my job and the apartment we're both results from choosing MY way... which was obvious through how much stress sadness and anxiety they both caused me.
I am at so much peace now. I have answered my calling.
when god calls, you WILL answer. period! god bless you sister! ....maybe,just maybe... he has a calling to ministry over your life too eh? who knows...

+Jess Reyes, grace to you and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a joyful and blessed thing for God to reveal Himself to many of us in many ways. However, let us not be easily deceived. When God speaks to us in revelation, it can NEVER be contrary to His word according to the bible. This is why it is very important to TEST the spirits, lest we are led astray. Any spirit that leads you to do something the bible clearly commands by Jesus, or the apostles not to do is a spirit of the devil. I say this because of 2 things; 1. No true believer in Christ will EVER go to the seminary schools or bible schools for ministry. 2. No true christian woman can be a preacher, evangelist, bishop, pastor, elder, etc. EVER! If you find this hard to believe, go on a fast, pray earnestly and read the word daily. Depending on your heart, Jesus will reveal it to you as HIS command. Be blessed.

I just got a job in Burger King and I feel like God is giving me a sign to quit, because my first day I worked until midnight until 1 am. I believe this is sign of God telling to quite the job! And focus on Him and my school

get in your prayer closet and ask God why. He will tell you if you really want to know. He told me to resign and I went home got on my
knees and asked. He told me why. I went to my job and resigned.The purpose unfolded. Little did I know He was going to take members
of my family to heaven.He sent me to minister to them before He took them. This was difficult because my family was not on the same page.
I stayed obedient and God was faithful. Jesus was obedient to the end. We also during times in our lives will be asked to do something out of
the norm. All who work and take care of responsibilities is normal but when God ask you to do something out of the norm you need to know
the Father will tell you if it is His will not unless He want you to believe by faith. We are His son's and daughters. He loves us the same as He
loves Jesus our Savior. Love You!!!!
It took me three months to quit my job after hearing God. It was kind of a rough Warehouse position and I didn't really fit in, although i tried. I was losing faith each day that I stayed; meanwhile my hours were long and strenuous. It made it hard to stay committed. I like to say you have to have humility, or you get humiliation. Unfortunately it was more on the humiliating side when i quit. Next time when I hear God, i'm going to trust, and put faith into action immediately.

Hi I sense God is actually telling me the same! As I walked into work I felt this strong urge to leave and it was time to go. But to the point it led me to tears! I haven't gotten a date but I will be leaving thank you for your testimony! It doesn't make sense to others right now that I'm leaving with no other job in place but I'm leaving by Faith and God wants me to totally trust Him I know this was long ago but thank you for sharing!!

How are you all doing now? I pray well. God pressed upon me to leave my job and I've received many confirmations. I'm still waiting on the date.
I am sort of dealing with something similar. I didn't have a job to quit, in fact its been absolutely impossible for me to find a job. I had been searching for a year or so and when I couldn't find anything, I decided to go back to school. I enjoyed school so much and had quite a bit of success, however after graduating, I still have been unsuccessful in obtaining a job in my field. I feel like the Lord blessed me with the opportunity to go to school and get my license and I even declared that if u could just finish school and get my Licensed I wouldn't worry about using it... I just wanted to have it and He has made sure that I'm honoring my word because no company will hire me. It's like every door I knock at won't even be answered let alone be answered simply to say we have nothing available thanks for applying. Its like I never applied for any jobs at all. Then it hit me that God doesn't want me to work. He's calling me to something else. so I began to just seek him and spend more time with him and I have finally come to accept that I will not be getting a job because God himself has a job for me to do and it doesn't require me doing the 9 to 5. In all honesty, it hurt because I was excited about working in my field but lately I find it more pleasing that I am finally being obedient (because I resisted for a long time) and doing the will of the Father and he is doing some great things in my life, though I don't know what the future holds... it feels good to know I am in the center of his will and I totally trust him. +Reacee Wright God is Sovereign!! Yes! There is nothing like knowing that you are in the center of the will of God :-) He promises that He directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of our lives! That’s a promise!! God is faithful and is pleased when we walk in obedience to Him!! Continue seeking after Him and completely trust in Him! His promises are Yes and Amen and He is not a man that He should lie. God is God! :-) He is with you and He will never leave you nor forsake you. I've read your comments with tears in my eyes because I ' m in a similar situation , I' m not lazy , I have the will to learn and work , but anything I started I always have a problem that makes it stop. I was really frustrated until I realized that God doesn't want that to happen. Because God can open doors for his children why nothing happened for me? I was wondering., I was ashamed of myself , I didn't want people to think bad about me like I'm a lazy person , but now I don't care anymore I just follow God' s will.

The Lord also told me to leave my job and I found it very challenging because being a workaholic and always having plan A, B & C did blow my mind,...but hey, FAITH is what He tested us with huh? Some situation can be hard to face as He needs to strength our most inner core, build out character and put all faith we got on Him,.. yet, we also know that He always takes us from glory to glory,.. so let's walk towards FAITH UP & FAITH FORWARDS 🙏 ❤

Happy for those who are spoken to. Half of me is thankful for having a job especially these days, but half of me wants to leave a toxic, soul-sucking work environment. With mouths to feed, the decision is agonizing.

God had me to do this in 2004 as well as 2013. Needless to say, it was challenging for my faith. I did what he told me to do and realize that Gods plan is always better. It takes time to adjust to the new, but God walks us through every step from then on. We just have to know when to do and when not to do during this sensitive time of obedience. My story yet continues as well!

I was on the verge of quitting then covid-19 hit. I really dislike my job. I got promoted last year March 1st and thought I’d like the job but realize that i’m not meant to talk to clients all day, facilitate conference calls/lead projects, I HATE IT. I do not have good follow up and communication skills for the corporate world. I have such anxiety where my job is concerned and this is no way to live a life. I’m starting to get migraines. Anyway, what about rent? Luckily I don’t own a car but what about rent. I don’t have any children, never been married. What about rent?!
So what I’m gonna do is this, look for a job (not just quit because I don’t have family who’d help me if I became homeless), send out resumes, pray on it, read scriptures to calm the anxiety and see what He says. I feel that He gave me this job to help my resume not to necessarily work there for the next 20 years. THIS JOB IS A STEPPING STONE TO THE NEXT JOB. So, I’m hopeful.
I love the fact that you didn't wait for everything to be "settle" to make this testimony. You were still in that season but you were still giving glory to God ! (I don't know about now, since it's been almost a year since you posted this video)

I quit my job last year best decision. I've made. I was tired of the verbal abuse , the manipulation, and the toxic nature. Did God Give me a job? No he didn't, no matter what I did I didn't get a job. You get tired of applying to jobs and begging God to help you.
So sorry to read this Natalie. Were you able to get a job? Sometimes simply praying for a job has worked for some. I’m not suffering verbal abuse at work except from some clients (ha ha) but I do feel that this job does not fit me spiritually or emotionally. I’m starting to get migraines from anxiety. I’m not the best communicator verbally and my job requires just that, so having to talk to clients in hours long meetings have created anxiety. I hope you have found a job since your comment 6 months ago. If not,I pray that you will find a job that you will love and one that honor’s God and one that fulfills your needs, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

what a blessing to stumble upon your testimony.you know what in.2016 i was at a place top where i was to quit my job but was fearing not knowing how things would turn out the other end and as usual whe. faced with suvh decisions to make i take time to press on in prayer for that peace to know if its the right move amd finally felt it was ok and God had my back and i quit. my boss literally was refusinh to take my resignatio. making it even harder and saud he would keep it for another 3 months that i think about it and within that time if i wanted to come back that the door was open-i was surprised but decided i needed a change and just go see what God has instore and within 3 months still had nothi ng but met my would be husband whi supported during that time and in.a year id relocated and wemt back to school while working part time, i got contacted by me former workmates that theyd a received a letter the company was shutting down
they didn't see it coming and were really devastated.At that company i worked hard and had moved departments and got promotion too and the future looked bright but see what happened i literally went on my knees amd thanked God for getting me out and taking care of me.during that time and resettled me.making sure he saved me from what was coming .so i commend you for being obedient.maybe you couldve stayed taken up the promotion and ended up messing up and got sucked alltogether losing it all you never know and because of your obedience He will greatly bless you and sure there is a waiting period just lime the israelites in the wilderness, before entering the promised land God wants.to see you got what it takes to handle.the blessings He has instore and needs to build your character in the waiting period .put all your trust in Him -He has plans and will all work out for your good sweetheart. jeremiah 29:11. xoxo

God bless you! You are not the only one that have shared this testimony on UA-cam. All these videos have been popping up in my suggestions recently. I believe that God told me to do this awhile ago. But I didn't have the courage. Your testimony and others like it have given me the courage that I need. Stay blessed and encouraged in the Lord in Jesus name.

I quit my job too since I observed I cannot handle my team. I follow standard rules and policy but in the end, I was getting questions why I can't finished the job in a quota, simply because I follow the correct standard. If I dont follow it, I can do the work fast. My trainor also dont teach me the correct way to do my job, I got questioned by our leader and I explained, I just did what the trainor told me to do, then I was shocked, she lied and told me and my leader that she did her best and tell me the proper way to do it but she is lying. If I only knew it, of course I can do the job well done. And also after few months, I discover that they cheat and they don't follow rules and correct job standards and my leader decide to transfer me in other line because he told me I am the only one who can't do the work fast. I just stay calm because I discover the truth that all of them cheat that is why they their works seems perfect and they hide their mistake in our leader. I can't stand anymore to work in our team so I decided to quit.
I felt also that God has called me for some calling but until now, I never yet discovered it. What shall I do? I quit my job and my resources are starting to end soon. I cannit find any proper job online. Please I need some advice. Thanks. ❤
Yep that is what God is telling me. I'm like ah! Lol! But God have been sending me so much confirmation about this decision.
The people in the comments section that are criticizing and mocking you, they wouldn't have the fortitude or the guts to do what you are doing. You are able to do it supernaturally. When God tells you to do something, it really doesn't matter what other people say. It's a supernatural confidence.

annb blogs Hey! Totally understand! That’s something I struggled with as well. What I found that helped me was to stay focused on God’s character and stay in the Word and in prayer. This helped me stay out of fear and stay in faith. I had to learn to trust God and honestly still growing in this area! Keep seeking God! He’s trustworthy! :)

Just because you dont want to work or you dont like your job or just want to quit, ISNT GOD. God calls you to do stuff you dont want to do.
I feel you. There are times where a job becomes unhealthy like anxiety manifesting itself into physical pain and mental illness, workplace with unethical practices, serious things like those. God is for us, remember that. He doesn’t force us to just grin and bare it. Yes, we should be grateful for what we have: a job but if it’s become unbearable then it’s time to pray on it, seek God, and then move on if that’s what is called for. Everybody’s walk with God is different so let’s be careful to not judge on why someone may have quit.
God isn’t an author of confusion or chaos 1 conrithians 14:33: Psalm 4610 Peace be still & know that I am God...when one door closes another door will open... Trust God not man🕯🙏🕯💜💜💜

I have just got a restless feeling l know l have to press in the word for clarity but it's like l said l all l am seeing is direct debit dates and no form of job to replace the DD dates yes l am definitely heading for a new season the lord wants me lonely and isolated in this season to totally depend on him alone
I didn’t hear God’s voice tell me to leave but I’ve been looking for other Jobs. Maybe one or two months back I had a dream of a co-worker telling me I need to find another job. Or she said to leave from over here. But I haven’t and I don’t know what to do. I also randomly left school and I never would’ve thought I’d ever do something like that(early in January). I applied for another job but I honestly don’t know what’s going on. I guess I should start asking him. I haven’t applied to others. I don’t know if I should make action? Or wait til God says? I feel lazy for not applying for another job and not being in school . But I trust him and I just have to hold on and fast.

From my understanding, you are currently working so I suggest continuing to seek God while being faithful where you currently are. If another opportunity comes that’s awesome yet ultimately we are to be led by Him! :)

strange then how i ..in spite of trying all kinds, and currently self employed, cant even afford this week to take my son out...i have kindle books and they never sell, no job appears, and i certainly don't hear his voice like other christians appear to. I even get false hope, but end up with the usual downward spiral. Never changes. and struggle all the time.
Stay on your face before God! Make sure you have surrendered ALL of YOUR thoughts and plans for how things should go, will go. If you will not surrender your understanding (knowledge) about this season, heaven will be closed to you and you will not receive the knowledge and promises God has for you. Proverb 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. Acknowledge Him (his plan, his direction, his way, his sovereignty, his timing) and He WILL direct your path. You cannot lead and follow at the same time. Release, sit, pray, listen. You will receive direction to move out of this spin cycle. God's Best for you.

Hey, i have been asking God to give me confirmation quitting my job but i never hear him. Am I missing something? Is God not into giving confirmations to everyone? Ive prayed and sought the Lord and Im miserable at the job that I work but Im still here. Why does God only give confirmations to some but not to all? Im not happy and its not some corporate job. One of the primary ways is through His Word! God can confirm what He desires for you to do the same way He confirmed it for me :) Be encouraged and continue seeking Him!

Yes, but if it is what God told you to do, it is a false guilt and accusation from the devil. God wants us to depend on him, and Independence is actually Pride. God wants us to be humble and depend on him the way Jesus did. It makes life so much easier and it takes a lot of stress out as we focus on Kingdom work.

Amber Talley In the Bible, God promises us in James 4:8 that if we draw near to Him He will draw near to us! There isn't an exact verse that talks about quitting your job but there are many verses throughout the Bible that encourage us to trust in Him and be led by Him :)
