Girl, yes! I recently turned down a masters program + job because the Holy Spirit led me to do so, as badly as I wanted them. I also turned down a huge scholarship to a great university because the Holy Spirit led me to. I was going to work into healthcare administration/informatics, but God told me not to go, so I threw that idea out of the way (which was extremely hard because I wanted to work in healthcare since high school and I'm currently 23 and about to graduate with my B.A. in English/Art). I have stopped dating guys because God told me to. Is it easy? NO. Not at all. I need the money and I want the job security and the guy. But, I choose God's will for my life over my own will. I encourage all women to do the same. It is really hard, I'm not going to lie, but you definately want God's will over your own! Now I'm becoming a teacher as God has led me. After graduation I'm returning to my current university for a double masters in Mild and Moderate Disabilities and Art Education, two things that were totally God-led and I have complete peace with and God is blessing me.
I would love to see more Christian lifestyle videos. I recently got saved and and excited about this season in my life too.

So happy I saw this video. I graduated college back in Dec of 2015, got married 4 months later, and then moved 9 hours from my home and all my family. Once I got to my new area I was not able to find a decent job, despite haveing a degree and it has caused me to really break down. I ended up getting a job that I'm happy for but it's not what I want. Im still here but I leave soon because im having a baby... watching this video has really made me realize that I need to turn to God and let him handel my job situation. Thanks for sharing this 🙂

I am super late to the party but Im here in 2020, just recently subscribed and want to comment on this video. You hit the nail on the head when you said wanting God to take control and lead. I can totally relate. I am happily married, almost 7 years and we have twin girls. At work today something came over me and in my mind I heard the question "what in the world am I doing?". I know that God has something greater for me and it's been a journey figuring it out. It's been mainly my lack of being inconsistent with my bible reading/prayer life. So now I am doing a reset and going to be intentional about making time for God, making Him a priority 1st in the morning because feeling like you're in the wilderness is so not cool, especially when you know you could have been out lol. I loved the video❤
It is great to hear that you are following God's will for you. Your makeup looks nice btw. I honestly not 100% sure what I want to do career wise. So, videos about that would be helpful. Also, I would like bible study videos. I feel that will help and encourage me.

Wow, just came across this video. So timely, definitely in a similar situation. I've gone between thoughts of uncertainty and doubt when it comes to being in a situation similar to yours, but then I remember that this season has brought me closer to Christ. It's a work in progress. But it's really about seeking God.
Happy that you're going to be posting more frequently. The Bible studies sound like a great idea. I am in a similar situation, but just left my twenties, so I feel the pressure of waiting for God's answers every day. I am also in Chicago! If you're looking for church recommendations let me know.

I'm working in a stressful job too....but I can't leave because I have bills, mortgage, car note and I take care of my mother. Sooooo, praying for a better, less stressful job that will help me get into and through nursing school (which is a career change for me).
I've dated a couple of nurses one liked it and one sat in her car before work pissed off not wanting to go. I hope it's good for you and your situation can get better. Keep grinding!!
