I have a taillest manx black cat who I adopted at age 3. Nobody wanted her because she is different. The lady who saved her told me people would make fun of her at adoption events to the point she would cling to the back of the kettle. It would take a day or two before she would come around. As a result, her rescuer stopped taking her to events; thus, she only featured her on the website. In addition, she was willing to keep her for the rest of her life if no one adopted her. I spotted her picture and fell in love with her. She's 11 years old.

I had a black cat for 14 years she was my soul mate and the best cat ever, don’t know why people seem to be less interested in them. Now I visit cats at the shelter and black cats do get adopted as much as the other cats.

Ive only had 1 black cat and he was the sweetest most gentle loving boy. He escaped and someone kept him. I went door to door looking for him. He escaped his captore and got out 2 yrs later and he came home. My baby boy came back❤

Our "Monkey" is named Smiley. At the Shelter they said her name was Miley but my then 3yo Daughter would say Smiley so it stuck. She's all black and was found tied to a tree. Took a while but she's such a loving addition to our Family. If you cough or sneeze she meows like she's saying bless you.
Dogs and cats were made to be with us! Thank you, universe, for these marvelous creatures! All animals are a great gift to us, as we are to each other.

Plz help feed and care for strays. They simply cannot survive on their own without human care, even cats, as everyone assumes. Basics of food, wafer and stable shelter are needed by all living creatures, animals and humans alike.

She was my emotional support cat too and it was she who kept me going after the sudden death of my husband and the loss of my Mum 6 months later when I had hit rock bottom. She was always there with me and literally kept me going.
