They really appreciate the videos you made. I have a suggestion for one. You should do a day in the life at your base by what your job is and oh day today it’s operated.
After BMT, how were you able to supply your dorm? I'm living in an apartment currently and about to sign up... I'm mainly wondering if I'll need to find a storage unit beforehand.
This is low key fire 🔥 this is how the dorms are for operational ? Can’t wait to get to my first base well kinda but not really 🤦🏽♂️😂 going to Minot 😒
Can you have like a self heating pot and pan to cook your own food In or is it not allowed . Cuz if it is imma be making some money off some hot plates 😂😂😂 if not then I figured but no provoke in asking to make sure.
I love your videos🫶🏼 They have really been helpful.I leave on August 15th. I'm nervous and excited all at one time. Is it anything you can tell us about packing because I've low-key been stressing about it. Also, I love your tattoos😍 can you get those after basic and tech, or are they allowed after you join?
i have a suite mate. which means we share a bathroom, but no roommate! every base is different. i’ve seen bases with quads (where you share a kitchen with 4 people but you get your own room and bathroom) and some bases have suite mates where you share a bathroom andddd kitchen with one person. but i share a bathroom with one person and everyone on the same floor as me shares a kitchen. :)
Goood Lord, that’s how the Air Force Do?! Marine Corp Barracks have painted Center blocks an an a metal stand for your Rack, no ceiling fan, an a 2 foot mini fridge!
BMT was so hectic i didn’t even really have time to think about my boyfriend😂 we did get to write letters back and forth and everytime we got a phone call i called him. BMT goes by quick and the letters and phone calls help. the first couple of weeks will be the hardest and you will miss your family/boyfriend the most and then it gets easier. in tech school we got to talk a lot more, but my tech school specifically couldn’t have phones during the school day. so we could only talk before or after school. it was hard but we had the weekends to talk and spend time together on facetime.
hi i got my job directly. i literally shipped out for BMT 3 weeks after my first meet with my recruiter. it was a super fast process, i had no medical problems, and i told her i wanted the first job available. and the first job available happened to be dental assistant:)
@@sierra1481 ummm so at my base specifically we are pretty busy. i think at any base you will be super busy as a dental assistant. we see a lot of patients and sometimes we don’t get time to eat lunch or we might stay super late, but it all depends on the day and the procedures we are doing🤷🏻♀️ sometimes procedures run late and take longer than expected and when that happens it does get hectic. but it’s not a super stressful job, overall super chill and worth it! but it can get hectic at times:) but not too bad
It depends on the dorm type. I share a kitchen and bathroom with one other person, but some dorms have private bathrooms but you share a kitchen with 3 other people
@@SunshineQuan Yes. Once you're operational they don't really care where you spend the night, just as long as you show up to work on time. It's not much different from a normal job, you just have stricter standards to adhere to
Where are you stationed at? I am about to leave January 16th for BMT. I'm a lot older so I'm sure my experience will be different than most people but I come from a huge military family and live in San Antonio already so. Thanks for the videos. My AFSC is Structural 3E331
This is a 100 times better than my college dorm room 20 years ago.
Girl you should do what to pack for BMT vid!
I second this!!
YES PLSSS
Yes yes
Yess ❤❤
Yessss
lol this video just made me wish I chose active duty so I could live on base 😭. Plus this is the nicest dorm I’ve seen so far.
Much nicer than when I was in the dorms. Back in the day, you didn't get a single room until you were an E-5.
this is so helpful because I’m trying to go to the airforce and I’ve been scared
don’t be scared, it was honestly such a good decision for me!!
Girl same😩
@@calliegreenAs a 18 y o, who’s joking the AF after this last year of high school, this makes me feel better about what the experience will be like
The Air Force is indeed the chair force

So I heard as a dental assistant, you don't travel as much. Is that true? Also, how does the process of getting a car work in the military?
Super cute ! Hope my daughter gets her own
After BMT, how were you able to supply your dorm? I'm living in an apartment currently and about to sign up... I'm mainly wondering if I'll need to find a storage unit beforehand.
were you able to get stuff from home like clothes and makeup or did you have to repurchase everything?

I’m about to graduate tech school in a week im so excited to go to my first duty station already. What’s your AFSC? if you don’t mind me asking
hi i’m a dental assistant!! what’s your AFSC??
Did you go into the airforce right after high school?
you don’t have any roomates ? like everyone gets a room to themselves ?
i have a suite mate. which means we share a bathroom, but no roommate! every base is different. i’ve seen bases with quads (where you share a kitchen with 4 people but you get your own room and bathroom) and some bases have suite mates where you share a bathroom andddd kitchen with one person. but i share a bathroom with one person and everyone on the same floor as me shares a kitchen. :)
so you and your roomie share a bathroom hut have separate rooms? :O
not a vid idea, but just curious how long you were in bmt / tech all together. (: i know it depends on your job but im just curious.
from January-June. i was in tech school longer than expected due to medical reasons, but still not too long! :)
is it compulsory you live in the dorms or can you live outsidee?
Hey girl! Love your videos. Are you in the reserve, national guard or active duty?
active duty!
did the tv come with the room ?
Do you get parking? I habe rv but I'm excited to join this year
Where do you prepare your meals?
i eat at the DEFAC, and we have a kitchen that we share with everyone on my floor, if i want to prepare food. it is towards the end of the video!
Goood Lord, that’s how the Air Force Do?! Marine Corp Barracks have painted Center blocks an an a metal stand for your Rack, no ceiling fan, an a 2 foot mini fridge!
😂😂 that’s the air force for you
Do you get that room after Basic Training?
If someone is in the Air national guard do they come home after tech school ?
do yall only travel when deployed?
does your duty station have curfew?
You should do a what to pack for tech school😓
Can’t bring anything but what you came with
All dorms have personal rooms
How was it going to BMT and Tech School with a boyfriend? How often did you get to talk?

Hi, did you get your job through an open contract or you got it directly and how long were you in DEP before getting your job.

Where are you stationed? & a day in your life and Air Force job
whiteman AFB, and i will definitely do those soon! thanks for the idea
@@calliegreenI literally come there on the 13. I heard it’s not much to do😂is that true?
do you have to live in the dorms or are you allowed to get your own apartment
You have to live in the dorms if you have only been in active service for less than 3 years. After that, speak to someone higher about it
Can you have a belly button piercing in BMT?
WOW! Glad Joan Crawford did not see the wire hangers in your closet. She would have gone ballistic.
how many people share one kitchen?
It depends on the dorm type. I share a kitchen and bathroom with one other person, but some dorms have private bathrooms but you share a kitchen with 3 other people

Do you have a roommate at airforce bases?
You have your own bedroom, but you'll share a kitchen with a few other people. Sometimes you have your own bathroom, sometimes you'll share one.
Real question:how are you gonna pack everything up if you have to move
same way i did on my way here, i packed everything in my car😂😂 i did a DITY move so the air force paid me for moving my things
Very pretty woman lucky boyfriend 😍
