This band is my all time favorite. My dad introduced them to me when I was in depression. I listened to them every chance I got because their music didn't sound like the crudy pop that riddles people's head. I had something that was true to life and that was showing me that life will get awful but if you change your way of looking at life around it will make a difference. It inspired me to pick up an instrument. The viola. Without Mumford and Sons I would have still been in a dark place. That viola made me so happy. My dad and I go on walks and when we are in his car on the way to nature reserves a Mumford and Sons song always plays at lest once. Since I got the music stuck in my head I will go out and see nature and those songs and nature have one thing in common is that your are one of the purest most true to life things. Thank You.

And I just don't mean emotions that pump us up to "turn up" but real and life provoking emotions that makes you...no forces you to see what life really is and how beautiful and enchanting it can be. People can argue all they want about how "folksy" this band is, but just watching Marcus sing shows us how genuine and expressive this group is. In some songs he is literally crying, and staring off into some other world while belting the lyrics. Absolutely inspiring stuff and Mumford & Sons can make you think as much as they can make you dance.
Wish they officially recorded that Bruce Springsteen cover, it was enchanting

i was there and it was crazy heart wrenching and amazing. This band is warm sad happy cold ... they know how to convey the emotion of every song in pure perfection.

I became a fan of Mumford and Sons too late and now I will probably never get to see one of their concerts, and this makes me really sad. If I could see one it would probably be the most amazing experience of my life.
They're getting together to write new music and the album will be released next year unless things move quickly. So you'll most likely get to see one.

My absolute favorite parts are in Hopeless Wanderer 0:56:25 and the higher intensity 58:20. Just WOW! I've tried practicing this on my own guitar and I can't manage it at all!

I was at the concert in Bonner Springs, KS last year, it was incredible. Indescribable.

How much more amazing can you get? Glad to see that folk/bluegrass/Americana genre music has made it this big. I wish that others like the Avett Brother, Jason Isbell, Of Monsters and Men among many others would make it as big as Mumford and Sons have. There is so much more great music out there. Its a shame that these bands haven't had the publicity. One day people will open their eyes and ears and become latched onto this style of music instead of that pop shit

First time I've heard their music at length - amazing, passionate art! By the way, I'm sure that many of you know that this type of music is at the heart of American bluegrass & folk styles -of course a couple of hundred years removed (tipping my hat to the UK).

I love Mumford and Sons, I have for years and I was ecstatic at the chance of them coming to Lolla. However, I was at this concert, pretty close to the front, and it was truly underwhelming after the first ten minutes. Regret leaving the front row of the next stage over to go see them.
