I'll keep this video forever!!! I'm PROUD to own a 2001 GsxR 750!!! : ) It's the second bike I've ever owned but my first sportbike ever owned!! I've had her for about 17 years and STILL have her!!! : ) Oh, and she now has almost 64,000 miles on her as well!! Couldn't be happier!!!! : )
My 750 is now 49000km and still my best friend for trips, no-brain-afternoons and cool trips with my 12 years old son.... She knows how to do everything. My teenager dream in my garage.... Love her!!!
I bought a 2003 GSXR 1000 K2 in September 2022, and it is just incredible.I did add some bits more from personal preference rather than the bike needing them,it has a Brembo front brake master cylinder and disc rotors, venhill braided brake lines front and rear, rear sets,K&N filter, iridium R plugs a shido lithium ion battery,Harris carbon fibre rear hugger and a Yoshimura tri- oval titanium system. The tyres are Michelin pilot power and grip fantastically well and I can't see myself replacing the bike any time soon.
own the Black and Silver K1. Its just runs every year with minimal service and is plenty fast and with the color scheme is unique. put on some S22 Bridgestones at the end of last year, pretty psyched to ride it this year.
@@nerfmaster33 I like cbr’s also for their reliability and exhaust sound I just wasn’t very comfortable on them like I thought I would be. TBH I was most comfortable on the Yamaha’s
I love k1 1000s over the years I’ve had 6 or 7 of them, no matter what I’ve had in between I always go back. I’ve got another one now! I’ve probably covered around 90 to 100k miles on them in total! What an awesome machine I’ve got a couple of videos of the one I have now on my channel the best colours in my opinion. But him saying those 6 pot brakes on the 1000 are powerful and good is a joke I’ve only had one k1 1000 with good brakes and that was because it had a radial brake calliper conversion from a later model. Don’t get me wrong I still love them I just make sure I give myself more room and time for braking than I need on any of my other bikes
I have the 6 piston brake calipers to my 1000gsxr k2 totally stock brakes ,i refurbished the brake calipers and the brakes are really strong..... perfect.....If you maintain the calipers and brake Pistons+change the brake oil every 2 years the stock 6 piston calipers in the front will work good and brakes will be strong.....

I had just bought new gen 1 2003 mille r which as a road bike was best of the V twin's. Took my millie for its 600 mile 1st service and they lend us 1000k2 😢 Long story short i purchased new 1000k2 at the ridiculous price of 6500. Ive owned 4 over the years and on Saturday im picking up 5000 miler which ill never sell . Im done with all the modern sports bikes 😮 now looking at what made me smile the most , no im not buying another rg500 it a k2 gixer thou😊
That’s what I just bought last week. 02 1000r and it has 17k on the motor and was a one owner. He was 56 and bought it new. He sold it to me for $4,200 and I’m in love. I came from riding Yamaha’s
I've got a gixxer but this is some serious hyperbole! Karl thinking he'd finish top 15 on a road 600. Those SS600 had the tits tuned off them. I seem to remember they made about 160hp over 105? or so of the road bike in 2001. Even low level BSB ss600 would have been hitting 140hp.
Suzuki is the way to go .They got the look , they got the style & they got the Class 👌👌👌😊

RIP both John and Carl. Sadly missed in the motorcycling world. Very sad . Gone but not forgotten.
John was never confirmed officially confirmed was he?
Best era of bikes for me. Bike meets used to be fantastic. Go to meets now and it's just people showing off there ohlins and brembo m50s.
Exactly! I’ve been saying the same thing. I feel like bikes then had much more character as well. I love my k4
