  • I took my 2017 Honda Civic Type R out to the racetrack a couple weekends ago. However, things did not go according to plan. In this video I address all the things that can go wrong taking your daily driver out to the track, what you should expect going into a track weekend, and fix all the things that went wrong with my FK8.

Worth it! Side note: Not to mentioned, Oil change, fluids after track day and 2nd set of tires and upcoming mods! Stay safe and drive fast 😉

Yeah I think the most expensive part is the upcoming mods as you mentioned! Now I want to fully track prep the FK8 since it was so much fun

Thanks, I wasn’t sure how I would like them with the decals but I love how they turned out

Was curious, I find that I enjoy my FK8 a bit more than my STI, which one do you like best?

The Type R feels faster overall, especially in gears 3-4. The STI is quicker off the line, and it’s definitely more fun on loose surfaces / in the snow!

The first scratch is always the hardest! Now I feel a little more relaxed about driving my car around knowing that it isn’t perfect anymore tbh
