Thanks AMD for this GPU! Won it on Vertex 2024 Conference in London and looking forward to check in my 3D workflows with Unreal Engine, Blender and DaVinci Resolve!
I just spent the last week going round and round trying to figure out why DaVinci Resolve continuously crashes.... like every 5 minutes. My only option is to accumulate several different types of crash logs, duplicate the project file (with proprietary information for whom I was editing it for), then upload to a cloud drive (which I don't have at the moment... please don't ask), and send the link to Blackmagic Design. Then wait...... I just pulled my 7 years-old iMac out of the closet and did the edit. Much more stable even if it is slow. Don't get me wrong, I want to use my 3x more powerful Windows PC. But time was of the essence so I had to go with what worked, not wait until someone else to get around to it. Windows 10 (not sure of the build since it's now in the closet) CPU: Ryzen 9 5900x GPU: RX 6800 XT RAM: G. Skill Ripjaws 64GB (2 x 32) DDR4 3600 Mobo: ASUS ROG Strix B550-F
@@DicehunterSC Thanks for the info. For a while I thought it was my Stream Deck XL, but it still continued crashing after unplugging it and quitting the Elgato software. For a time it wasn't that bad - crashing maybe once a day. Finally updated Resolve to 18.6 and it almost stopped. But this week....🤬🤬🤬
I currently am running the 3700X, I will upgrade to the 5800X3D first then wait for newer AM5 chips, and I am running the 7900XT with the AMD Pro Drivers. Loving it!
I don't have the flexibilty to build a workstation yet, so i'm waiting for Strix Point laptops to arrive. I hope they'll have great performance and great efficiency in everyday workloads!
Go AMD go AMD ❤❤❤. I'm very happy to have your Ryzen 7950X3D + PowerColor RX 7900 XTX Red Devil Limited Edition. I'm very excited for next gen Zen 5, especially if you put out a Ryzen 9950X3D and also X770E / X870E. Can't wait. But i'm saving up from now. ❤ Ya 😀

@@DicehunterSC Apple Silicone paired with the superior Apple software makes everything better. There is no reason to have oldschool x86 hardware. Besides gamers, nobody really uses a pc anymore for obvious reasons. Apple hardware only loses when you use crappy Windows software like DaVinci resolve, absolute awful -- AND let the amd / nvidia hardware use copious amounts of energy, if you limit them to the same tdp it's a carnage. I've prolly build my last pc 3 years ago or so, because unless AMD, intel and or Nvidia get with the times i will never make another again. 50watts for cpu+gpu soc is enough for 99% of people. I don't really like games anymore, they're all crappy today imo so over time, like the market, i will migrate to 100% apple.

Im not a stupid bot. I am writing from Turkey. I have used countless laptops from Casper (clevo), hp, msi, lenovo. More than half of my 30-year life has been consumed by the exorbitant and relatively low-performance products of Intel and Nvidia. I assembled a desktop 3 years ago. My motherboard choice was msi, pro b650m with wifi I bought rx 6600. Then I sold it. I switched to Rx 6700 xt. Now I am using rx 7900 xt. My processor is ryzen 7600x. None of the AMD products I used second hand. AMD is a competitive and scientific company that deserves every penny it earns
Purchased a Ryzen 9 7950X from Microcenter with my Asus 670E Plus mobo. Am5 rocks thanks AMD and Microcenter for being 30 minutes away!
BOOM - Thanks AMD! You are rockstars!
Thank YOU! 🙌
@AMD Can you please share the full details PC specifications. I want to build this PC, ASAP. Thank You
NGL, I thought that was Linus in the thumbnail 😂
Does it encode into AV1?
AMD YES!
AMD best world 👍🏼
Very good video. I'm using the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7970X in my workstation. Loving the performance bump over my older Threadripper 3970X.
We love to hear that!🙌
Thanks dude! 😆

Not on Linux...Please talk some sense into Blackmagic design. I dread Windows and I don't want to have to buy an Nvidia GPU.

Pffffff use proxies.... Stop to Buy more hardware!

Proxies is a great solution for sure, but sometimes if you need an edit done that day being able to work with the RAW files is a great help.
Creators use only mack 😂

Or just get a Mac with superior software, hardware and efficiency. I will never understand why anyone would edit on a pc voluntarily.
Cause you got a fraction of the same compute power with a mac compared to a purpose built pc (in the same price range)

Nah fam gaming at 4k 240hz is crash. Consoles and apple will never be able to hit that.
