    Pantheon is amazing, and i always try to get a few rides on it each trip, ridden it many times by now and it never fails to get me grinning like an idiot. My only big issue with BGW now is that they need something big, their main competitor is kings dominion an hour north, and they have amazing stuff, including intimidator 305, twisted timbers (an RMC hybrid) and even a classic sleigh type coaster. They are building a new very large multi-launch wing coaster for 2025 called Rapterra in the space of the much missed Volcano, and BGW's response is another little family coaster from B&M, basically an alppengiest for small kids, in the spot that formerly was occupied for the failed coaster Drachenfire. Thats a large space, perfect for a big eye poppijg attraction and they are putting in a family inverted coaster there that won't even have a drop comparable to Verbolten (89ft)....
    BGW NEEDS a big monster that pushes the envelope and can be seen around the park, like intimidator 305 with its 305ft drop. Pantheon was an excellent step in the right direction, what i really want to see is something like Velocicoaster or an Iron Gwazi clone. There next coaster after this rinky dink little family inverted that doesnt even have inversions, better be at minimum taller than Griffon and Apollo's chariot drops, (205ft and 210ft respectively)

    We have the same order for the top 4. Behind those, things change, as I'm a big fan of Loch Ness Monster. 6. Verbolten, 7. DarKoaster, 8. InvadR, 9. Tempesto, 10. kiddie coaster.

    I love Nessie, it was my first looping coaster, and I credit this and Phantom to me getting over my fear of roller coasters, Verbolten is my favorite coaster at this park, but as mentioned before I was still afraid of coasters, so I only get on Verbolten, Nessie, and InvadR

    I used to LOVE alpengheist. I went back bragging about it to my friends and found it incredddddibly violent. Gave me a terrible terrible headache after just one ride from all the whacking of my head on the restraints.

    • @XscreamThrills
      @XscreamThrills  5 місяців тому

      Its not as violent if you sit in an inner seat or towards the front of the train

    My ranking, with tiers (not including Darkoaster, I was going to ride on this last time I was here but decided not to because of the 90 minute wait)
    D tier:
    9. Lochness Monster (I haven't been on it since the re-did the tracks, so hopefully that made it better. As of last time I went on it, it felt incredibly rickety and not smooth making for a not-so-fun ride)
    C tier:
    8. Tempesto (I only went on this once like 6 years ago and I didn't like it. Maybe going on it again will change my mind)
    B tier:
    7. Grover's Alpine Express (There's nothing inherently wrong with this rollercoaster. It's smooth, and a great starter coaster for kids. It's just that it's kind of basic. Not that that's a bad thing for a rollercoaster, it's just less fun to me)
    6. InvadR (Not anything incredible, but it's pretty fun. It's also not very smooth, but it's not anything like Lochness Monster)
    A tier:
    5. Pantheon (I went on this for the first time a few months ago. It was fun, and definitely the scariest ride I've been on here. The main thing I didn't like is the way you briefly hang out of your seat when you're launched up. The rest of it was pretty fun though, and I can see this one growing on me)
    4. Alpengeist (Just really fun. A bit on the shaky side, but it's not that bad)
    S tier:
    3. Verbolten (My top three was definitive to me. This was my first major coaster I went on as a kid, and it's still one of my favorites. It's fun all the way through. It's pretty smooth, the "surprise" while you're in the darkness is super fun, and once you get outside, the view is still pretty nice despite not being a very high-up rollercoaster. The main problem is that this always has a really long line, usually 45-60 minutes long.)
    2. Apollo's Chariot (Choosing between the top two was difficult because I like them for similar reasons. They're both incredibly smooth, and the views are great. Being at the top of this rollercoaster gives you the best view you can get out of any of the rollercoasters here. The rest of the rollercoaster is smooth ups and downs and transitions, and a small surprise at the end. All this combined makes this my 2nd favorite rollercoaster here.
    1. Griffon (I like this for all the same reasons I like Apollo's Chariot, but the one thing this has is that stop up at the top, and then the most fun drop out of all of the rollercoasters here.

    When I tried going to Bushe Gardens 3 weeks ago with my band, verbolten broke down because someone's seatbelt broke near the end. Also, the next ride I tried to go on had suspension problems as I tgoit to the front of the line.

    Verbolten was the coaster I was looking forward to most on my first visit this past summer because of the theming and unique features. Sadly the rattle plus the forces from the tight helices indoors were too much for my head. I gave it a few tries over multiple days in different sections of the train with the same result. It’s a shame, I really wish it tracked a bit more smoothly.

    I rode InvadR twice a couple of weeks ago, and this was by far the roughest ride in the park. GCIs seem to fall apart quickly

    • @OklahomaCoasterFan
      @OklahomaCoasterFan 10 місяців тому

      That one has fallen apart quickly. Zambezi Zinger was brutal from opening day. Mystic Timbers is still riding so smooth. It's all about what type of lumber they use.

      Nice ranking. I'm glad you give Apollo's Chariot its due respect. It is very fun and has the best setting of any B&M hypercoaster giving it really great night rides.
      Alpengeist is very much a mixed bag for me. I still find it very rough other than the front row. But I actually prefer front row on Alpengeist over a ride on Montu.
      And while we're making those kinds of comparisons, I adore Pantheon. I actually prefer it to its BGT counterpart Iron Gwazi. Yes, the presentation is crap but the coaster is so good. It's my third favorite Intamin after Velocicoaster and Skyrush. But I'd take Pantheon over any Intamin at Cedar Point.
