OK BUT it is the hinge that's broken on mine so this doesn't fix that. I was looking for a replacement hinge which would fix everything but can't find one. I just bought a new Brabantia 12 liter step on can because it is the only one I could find that is step-on AND fits under my sink with actual clearance for the sink bottom after opening. Simple Human doesn't make such necessities! but thx for making the video.

Thanks for watching. The plastic piece that the screws were attached to?....this is a part of the trash can. It is attached to the cover by a hinge. All I added were screws. thx

Jedixfett X cool, all you should need are long screws from any hardware store and a drill
