I was waiting for your mouth to open in astonishment - everyone always reacts like this to Diana who was 18yo here! 😊 So, as a new reactor to Diana I need to give you some background on her. NOT to solicit pity, but so you understand what created Diana! Diana is 19yo currently but I've been following her since she was around 13yo. Diana is a natural Dramatic Contralto so the lower registers are her comfort zone but she now has a 4 octave range and it's increasing. She also naturally sings with polyphonic overtones so it sounds like many voices at the same time! Diana's birthmother had multiple miscarriages but when Diana came along, she seemed to hate her. She verbally and physically abused her, trying to drown her and belittle her. It all culminated when (at 3yo) she dragged her to a bus stop with a broken collarbone and abandoned her, saying "Survive if you can" A passing relative took her in but because she cried constantly (naturally with a broken collarbone) she took her to the authorities who removed Diana from her birthmothers care and placed her in an orphanage. For almost 2 years Diana never gave up hope and she knew that she was meant for something better. (This story is in her Wikipedia entry) Finally her new mother (Irina Ponik, who worked as a masseuse there occasionally) Signed her adoption papers and took her home. She vowed to pay Irina back for her kindness. Irina had a real struggle because Diana had obviously been badly affected by the experiences and at 5yo, she had a very bad stammer. It was recommended that she be taken for singing lessons to help this and immediately it was recognised that Diana had perfect pitch and an excellent ear for music and songs. 1 year later, at 6yo, Diana was performing solo on stage! This young unique phenomenon sang everywhere and anywhere she could, working constantly to earn money for the family who rescued her. Конечно я могу ошибаться... Но мне кажется что у нас разный подход к любви!!! Западный подход: любовь - это ТОЛЬКО одно сплошное удовольствие и счастье. Русский подход: любовь - это прежде всего много много боли и совсем не много удовольствия, чуть чуть счастья. Почему боли? А вам не знакома ситуация: Вы влюбленны в одного человека, вы буквально сходите от него с ума. А этот человек в ответ к вам холоден, он вас не замечает, он к вам безразличен (от слова "абсолютно"). Да и то, что хочет передать артист немаловажная тема, ведь по определению артист - обманщик, он играет роль, но вот тут и видна огромная разница между ремеслом и искусством, только большие артисты вызывают истинные эмоции. Greetings from Scotland! Do not apologise! I was waiting for your mouth to open in astonishment - everyone always reacts like this to Diana who was 18yo here! 😊 So, as a new reactor to Diana I need to give you some background on her. NOT to solicit pity, but so you understand what created Diana!
Diana is 19yo currently but I've been following her since she was around 13yo. Diana is a natural Dramatic Contralto so the lower registers are her comfort zone but she now has a 4 octave range and it's increasing. She also naturally sings with polyphonic overtones so it sounds like many voices at the same time!
Diana's birthmother had multiple miscarriages but when Diana came along, she seemed to hate her. She verbally and physically abused her, trying to drown her and belittle her. It all culminated when (at 3yo) she dragged her to a bus stop with a broken collarbone and abandoned her, saying "Survive if you can" A passing relative took her in but because she cried constantly (naturally with a broken collarbone) she took her to the authorities who removed Diana from her birthmothers care and placed her in an orphanage. For almost 2 years Diana never gave up hope and she knew that she was meant for something better. (This story is in her Wikipedia entry) Finally her new mother (Irina Ponik, who worked as a masseuse there occasionally) Signed her adoption papers and took her home. She vowed to pay Irina back for her kindness. Irina had a real struggle because Diana had obviously been badly affected by the experiences and at 5yo, she had a very bad stammer. It was recommended that she be taken for singing lessons to help this and immediately it was recognised that Diana had perfect pitch and an excellent ear for music and songs. 1 year later, at 6yo, Diana was performing solo on stage!
This young unique phenomenon sang everywhere and anywhere she could, working constantly to earn money for the family who rescued her. She was already winning every contest in Russia and other countries that she could get to. At the age of three in the middle of Russia's far northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the first to recognize something special in this little girl, and eventually adopted her. Diana was sent for singing lessons because it was thought that this might help her learn to speak without impediment.
Only two years later she started singing in local theater, and in street plays and performances. And soon after was entered in a Russian TV music competition for disadvantaged children. By the age of 10 she was winning local competitions, singing on live TV shows, and her songs started showing up on UA-cam. Two months ago, at the age of 18, her first performance during a new Russian television competition with several other renowned performers, has gone viral and has garnered hundreds of UA-cam 'reaction' videos, and millions of viewers.

There were 9 singers who were also the judges and critiqued each other. There were 9 genres of music they had to perform over the course of the show. Thus Diana sang in many different styles.

Diana (dee-ah-na) was abandoned by her abusive mother at the age 3 and placed in an orphanage, diagnosed with cognitive impairment. Her adoptive mother had her enroll in singing lessons to help with some speech problems due to abuse and neglect. Her singing talent was immediately noticed and the rest is history.

Да и то, что хочет передать артист немаловажная тема, ведь по определению артист - обманщик, он играет роль, но вот тут и видна огромная разница между ремеслом и искусством, только большие артисты вызывают истинные эмоции. Ну кто скажет посмотрев, как Диана поёт "Кони привередливые", что нас обманули? И у Дианы при этом счастливый характер, она умет переключаться, потому вместе со слезами на лице в конце песни мы видим улыбку - у неё опять получилось раскрыть своё видение произведения зрителям, причём такое произведение, которое мало кто решится исполнять на публике. Так что извините меня дорогие поклонники Дианы (хотя я собственно тоже восхищаюсь ей), исключительный голос вовсе не самое главное в успехе Дианы - все "звёзды сошлись" вместе, таким Человеком, которым уже стала Диана невозможно стать, если тебя не любят, тут отдельное Спасибо её семье, Маме.
