No we don’t need a ulez truck we don’t do recovery’s so were not really in London in fact I think Iv only ever been in once in my truck and had to pay so we will just pay the charge if we need to collect a car from the ulez zone 👍
That would cost a fortune.
No needs to...diesels 2015 onwards no charge, before 2015 needs to pay and petrol no charge and
He’s literally just done the gearbox in his truck.

You're obviously unaware of the Ford "fuly floating" turbocharger. Their forward thinking Turkish design team never ceases to amaze me :-/ !!
Just seen your videos since you hit just over 100k and in the last few days recently started watching them again. What was a huge surprise is Chris being on camera I know previously he didn’t want to be on camera being on camera/ social media isn’t for everyone but it’s great to see and he comes across very well on camera he’s doing a fab job.
My mates got a transit of the same age. Its been in and out of Fords with engine recalls including the injectors and the wet belt fix, not sure whats going on with Ford engines any more they really aren't what they used to be

I work for an auction site we specialise in vans and we sell these things with this mileage and condition for £8K+vat all day long, someones getting a bargain 👍

A wobbly turbo does not bode well but you two sorted it out. Now it sounds sweet enough, like a Transit as you say Rob. It is always good to give the guys at the car wash a mention, they do a really good job. That's two out the door, one to your friend and the '19 plate' to one of us subscribers at a good price and still a profit for you two. I think even if you 'borrow' parts from one you will still get money back on it. Well done Rob and Chris and thanks for another great video Gents. 👍👍
Obviously the seats will be soaking and the cab will have some condensation over the next few days if you stick a small to medium sized dehumidifier in the cab for a few hours it will dry it out. Saves it going mouldy too
Should do a video on all of them there will be something different with each truck still worth the watch
Lets hope they did a better job on the wet belt; got my doubts.

I used a dehumidifier to dry my car out after we all got soaked on a day out did a great job.

Halfords do an upholstery spray which is brilliant and won’t break down the sponge over time like water will

For swapping the doors better to put the window down first . That allows you to hold and move door as you need. Great work guys as usual.
Top tip! I'm not adverse to hanging them off the engine crane either when they're heavy

As said from the factory they don’t have a turbo to manifold gasket , the gasket is available for when the mating surfaces are in poor condition

Used to run mixed fleet of trannies, York & Kent engines + a few v6 petrols, they were bulletproof engines for sure.

Check the pollen filters as well and I’d do a fuel filter as well rob coz the mileages those transits have done I don’t think they will have been changed.pollen filter behind the glovebox just push the tabs in at the side down it comes and it’s there in front of u

Great videos as always guys. Just be a little careful jet washing around the door shuts etc as the body control module sits just behind the drivers side cup holder on the end of the dash. Carry on the great work guys.

Great business buying these transits in bulk. Whittle them down till you have one left and decide what to do with it. No problem selling vehicles of this calibre and price point. Your expertise in fixing these wet belt motors is second to none. Nice little coming out this fleet disposal 👍🇬🇧😎
Beggars belief that anyone would think it was a good idea to have a wet belt in the first place.
My work got a fleet of these back in 2014. They were nothing but trouble and were all dead within 2 years! The boss bit the bullet and got sprinters to replace them and some of them are still going strong!

I have a 20 plate, wet belt snapped at 40k miles, while the engine was running at about 1500 rpm.
The whole engine was destroyed
I’ll never have another :(
